@SaraRose83 This happens to me too and did with my DS. For me it was when baby was pressing its feet into a ligament in my rib cage. Kind of a stabbing pain that comes and goes with the pressure baby's foot puts on that ligament. It also happened as I was pushing him out - totally not fun but was totally harmless for us.
I'm with you ladies. I'm feeling TONS of pressure/a bit of pain in the cervix/bladder/urethra area. Not super surprised, since every appt. they tell me baby is super low and that I should be feeling lots of pelvic pressure. Jeez. Definitely get jabs to the crotch when I'm just walking around work, too. Coworkers are probably like, "Why does her face look like that?" They don't wanna know.
Last night I was having dinner with a mommy friend and she mentioned that her water broke when she sneezed one time. This morning while going to the restroom, I finish peeing and wiping (clean tissue) when I have the urge to sneeze. Sneeze causes me to need to tinkle a little more (glad I'm still on the toilet), I go to wipe and there is a large glob of mucus that was not there second before. So I guess sneezing does do something. I know plugs can regenerate, but I started losing mine last week, so I'm hoping this was the last of it.
Well I hosted brunch for our neighbors today in hopes that I would jinx myself into going into labor last night. Nope. BUT brunch went great and I made mini quiches that turned out so good! I don't even know how they turned out so good!
Steady, timeable contractions all day yesterday. I call my doctor around 7 because they haven't intensified but the two strong ones I had felt like my cervix ripping in half. Go in for observation if I want to, she says. We wait a little longer, and wouldn't you know THE CONTRACTIONS STOPPED! UGH!!!!! Why can't my water just break and I'll know I'm in labor for real!? This guessing game sucks.

@phoenix870509 This happened to me last night and earlier this week. They started around 11pm. I got all excited and got on my ball and walked around to try to work with them and they stopped hours later, started up again around 7am, and stopped again. I'm beyond frustrated. So is DH. Although I get to be more frustrated than he is. I'm exhausted this morning! I feel like my poor body is trying and I'm trying not to lose faith in it and the process before seeing my doc for a probable induction-lecture on Tuesday.
But on a positive note @SaraRose83 it's great that your body understands it needs to perform contractions and is attempting! and even if you have the induction talk, if you go the foley bulb route that might just give your body the oomph it needs to avoid the induction next day!! better than 10 days overdue with 0 contractions at all lol
@R0824H VERY true!! I'm definitely going to try for the foley bulb first if it comes to inducing. Objectively I agree with you on better than no contractions, but man it's frustrating!
@slartybartfast, I feel the same way! I feel like I am regressing instead of progressing. My bump is still SUPER high, but I know that LO's head is snuggled deep down in my pelvic area. Maybe I just have a freakishly tall child.
Lost at least part of my mucus plug today, and was told at my appointment that I was having contractions even though I couldn't feel them. I'm trying not to get too excited but I feel like maybe, just maybe, I won't be pregnant forever?
Omg @tinattt23 I pooped 5 times between 230 and 730 this morning. Big poops. I think it's a sign of the body preparing by naturally cleansing. At least that's what I told myself.
Regular contractions since 6:30pm. They don't seem to be going away and they do seem to be getting a little stronger. But I could also see them fizzling out in the morning. I'm trying to get rest but they keep getting me up... so now I'm having yogurt and fruit.
I swear, does anyone else feel like they will be the last ones to give birth in this group? I'm on the poo train with @tinattt23@ajstevenson but that's about it. I almost feel like I will never give birth!
I dunno I'm 14 hours in to contractions every 6-9 minutes that are stronger than those before but not progressing. I think this may just be a torture session
I've had lower back pain off and on since last night. I'm super nauseous this morning and have had to stay near the toilet thanks to the runs. No contractions really at least from what the newbie can tell. We'll just have to wait and see.

Aaaaand fizzled. Still getting a strong one every 30 minutes or so but definitely not headed anywhere any time soon. Honestly with DS I didn't have early labor - I slammed right into back labor and wasn't dialated or anything (and continued to not dialate for a hellacious day)
so while I'm exhausted and disappointed, I'm happy my body is taking a different approach too.
maybe this cold will clear up too. In other words, I'm just along for this ride.
@slartybartfast I hope that your theory is true... while annoying maybe your body knows what to do this time and is prepping you for it! Im doing this too, every 3rd night or so. Hugs and get rest...
What had me discouraged is I tried to check my own cervix... (something my MW is totally ok with)... I couldn't even reach/find it party due to belly size and also I think it's still very high... sad... sad day.
@maamawaabangi I check from time to time, too! I got familiar with the territory when we were TTC. Definitely harder to do with a belly in the way, now.
@maamawaabangi Glad I'm not the only one trying that I never could reach it when I was TTC though, and I'm still two weeks out besides, so I'm really not surprised.

I feel like she is sitting right on my cervix and I keep cramping and getting shooting pains that are making me jump. This has been pretty constant the last 45ish minutes. Does this sound like she is coming soon or normal pregnancy pains?
@BabyRobbinsAdventure I'm only FTM so I feel like your guess is same as mine, but I've had that for days and she's still in my belly. But everyone is different, I think.
Also, I thought my water broke today. Been having pretty bad cramps all morning. Went in and it was negative. I just peed myself.
Lost more of my mucus plug and seem to be having the bloody show as well. Back pains off and on. Some contractions but they aren't timeable. I so want to have this baby soon!

@BabyRobbinsAdventure Haha, we must be! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I was so embarrassed. Especially after I texted my mom and then had to text her later that it was just pee.
Started losing MP over the last two weeks. Some blood in it after Monday's exam. Tuesday night sick with diarrhea and vomiting. Felt amazing yesterday. Last night slept like utter crap in spite of taking Unisom. Woke up today, diarrhea and vomit again along with a bloody show with a huge MP. Going to go to work for a few hours and see if moving around will kick start things. Knowing my luck, this kid will come out tomorrow on my brother's birthday and commencement day, cementing his middle child syndrome argument that he never gets anything to be just his! Ha. Good thing we made him the Guardian.

My baby loves to spend some time every evening whaling on my cervix. I think there is just so little room and baby loves to have hands by the face...which are, consequently, right near my bladder and cervix. Good times. I'm still at least a week from my due date and baby has been doing this for weeks since dropping around Thanksgiving.
