Ooh I'm such a complainer today!! Already hit up the oct symptoms board this morning. Currently - my feet are literally exploding out of my shoes. So painful. So puffy. Damn this job. The only thing I can tolerate is flip flops but not allowed at work. Ugh. Bitches.
my aching hands! woke up MOTN with my left hand clenched in a fist. Had to use my right hand to undo the fist since the fingers on my left hand would not cooperate. WTF is up with that
As uncomfortable and tired as I am (always peeing, terrible sleep quality, acid reflux/heartburn) I think "nesting" has officially kicked in. I feel an urge to clean and organize and get ready for baby. I knocked out a LOT of things at work that i've been procrastinating regarding for the past 9 months, I washed and organized baby's clothes and am decorating for Christmas this weekend. I just have a sense of urgency regardless of being tired. Hoping it lasts!

*PCOS/Hypothyroid/Ectopic Kidney/High DHEA-S* HSG - All clear, ectopic kidney didn't affect uterus (yay!) CT Adrenal Scan - no tumors! SA - sperm count excellent, 2% Morphology March/April IUI scheduled - surprise BFP w/ help of Progesterone - 3/18/2016 Beta #1 @ 11dpo - 45.7 #2 @ 14dpo - 163 #3 @ 18dpo - 997 #4 @ 21dpo - 3799 EDD 12/1 based on O, 11/28 per Ob/Gyn (but he's wrong lol).
It is hard to go anywhere and walk around. I have been to the mall twice this week to get things and run errands and I am always looking for the nearest bench or seat so I can rest. I feel huge lol I also can't get a decent sleep at night since I am waking up 25 times to pee. uugghh so much for trying to enjoy my sleep before baby arrives!
My one main complaint - swelling. It's been a few months now, but seems to be getting worse. My BP is normal, so my OB isn't concerned and thinks I am just one to carry that extra water retention around (hopefully that is where all this extra weight gain is coming from and is lost quickly after delivery). She looked at my feet this week and felt bad for them, and me. *lol* My fingers have seen an increase in size in the last week, as my stand-in wedding ring in a size 6 is now too small (my wedding ring is is 5.75) and the size 7 fashion ring is almost too tight. My OB only said to watch salt, and that was it - since I was drinking more water, putting my feet up, being active when I felt like it, icing and epsom salt warm baths, etc.
Sometimes getting up takes me awhile, depending on how I am sitting... especially on the couch. But, once I am get going I am usually good. BUT, I get super tired if I walk around too much. Fatigue has hit much harder than 1st tri so I really have to slow down. I have tomorrow off and plan to run a lot of errands so Friday night on the couch to relax is my plan (and DH is gone hunting, so it'll be a "me" chill night). Or, I'll take a lot of breaks in between stops so I don't overwork myself.
I want to nest, and hope it comes soon. I have the next 3 Fridays off and the week of Thanksgiving... then start leave. So, I am spreading some of my nesting things out. This weekend, I am washing up the baby clothes and towels we have received so far and getting them put away in drawers. I also plan on ordering some wall decor, or checking out places in town for various things (like Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc). We have lost of wall space, and hope what I have in my head for ideas pans out well.

So much pelvic pressure, but baby boy isn't low yet. My feet are swelling again. Oh, and itching! The feet itch all the dang time. Insomnia had reared it's ugly head again, and I only got about 3 hrs of sleep last night. My nips are super sore too. Apparently I'm a bucket of complaints today.
@mamax - itchy hands/feet can be an indicator of cholestatis. Has your provider looked into that?
My big thing these days is carpel tunnel. I have braces for both wrists now, that I sleep in, and that helps with the tingling. I still wake up with really stiff and painful joints, though. Having lots of little braxton hicks but not so bad that they're annoying or painful.
I second the pelvic pain @mamax2, it's no joke. It feels particularly awful when I have to get up after sitting a bit or going to the bathroom at night. Holy wincing and limping! My vagina and butt cheeks hurt too. OB said it's feeling poignant to me right now because he's head down.
Sciatic nerve pain has not been my friend, especially when lying down. That hurts so much. All the way down to my ankle. Add some random shoulder pain on the same side and I'm grumpy.
Hands love to go to sleep right now, and I'm with you @kaitmb88 on the finding a bench everywhere for rest. I want to be active, and I'm trying, but I tap out quick.
I'm hoping nesting kicks into higher gear soon. I'm nesting a wee bit - for instance, I'm currently washing our shower curtain/pillow covers/throw blankets - but I'd like it to kick into higher gear.
Add me as another one with swollen feet! It has just started in the past few days but it's annoying. My hands aren't too bad - but I haven't been wearing my wedding rings. My fingers were really swollen one day last week and I don't want to chance them getting stuck. I've also had a lot of pelvic pain recently - the baby has definitely dropped!
Rib and back pain...like in the same spot....I know there's a baby's head in my ribs...I'm guessing that's contributing to my back pain too. Incredibly swollen feet and ankles....and my hands too...had to stop wearing my rings. Yesterday at my appointment they said my blood pressure was a little high, 144/80 the first time, and 139/90 10 minutes later. So they ran blood work.. Supposed to hear from the office today. Ugh. It's been great every other visit!
@gowenc: I'm doing the wrist brace thing too now, but only one one hand. My wrists and hands also super hurt when I take it off, but I'm sleeping better and later in the day, my wrist feels better than it was before I started using the brace.
My biggest "Symptom" is that I can sit up straight anymore because my belly hits my legs and gets all cramped and uncomfortable. we had to move a lounge chair by my desk to so that I could lounge without straining my neck, its kind of hilarious!
Everything hurts. Especially back and pelvis. Getting up quickly causes BH which happens often. Swollen feet and legs. The reflux is ridiculous. Got some relief with a new prescription but it only worked for one day. Insomnia and fatigue are a constant companion. Also I've been ravenously hungry, for the first time all pregnancy
@jptrumptone I also have the belly on the legs thing in the car, and its driving me insane. It makes me so aware of how heavy my stomach is.
Other than that I am just experiencing tiredness and some pain with my BH but nothing too crazy. I can't sleep at all, I make it maybe three hours and then I'm up every hour.
Yes @Austenista . It is definitely worse after sitting for a bit. Every time I wince or say ouch, DH asks if I'm going into labor. Michaek is head down as well, although not low, so maybe that's why it's so bad. I hope your pains ease up some.
@gowenc, I do already have cholestatis, so the itching may indeed be flaring up from that. Thanks for reminding me that's a symptom.
@Mamax2 I'm sorry, that sucks - I know the itching can be a serious pain. A good friend of mine had cholestasis with her baby who's now 6 months. Not fun!
Continuing symptom is reflux. It's so bad. Some days I can eat things and it's not a problem. The next day eat the same thing and then feel like I'm going to die.
New symptom is hot flashes. Oh man. I've been freezing my poor students out. My husband keeps joking that the baby must be like him as far as temperature goes since he's always hot and I'm always cold.
Still have slight swelling in hands. Joint pain and exhaustion.

This kid is all up in my ribs and it's like an elephant sitting no my chest. Insomnia, and echoing the achy hands and feet, pelvic pain, hip pain. Heartburn isn't as bad this time, so this kid will probably end up bald.
Oh, and most importantly, swamp ass.
*SIGGY* Baby G born 6/6/14, 37 weeks 1 day due to preeclampsia. 5lb12oz 19" #2 due Christmas 2016.
Swelling feet is a new one for me. My hands have slowly been swelling the last couple of months, but it it now starting to show in my ankles and feet. So uncomfortable!!
Last night I got acid reflux for the first time laying down trying to sleep. Eating nachos for dinner was probably the culprit for that, lesson learned for sure.
Baby's head is ramming in to my left hip, and feet keep kicking my right ribs, super fun.
Ditto to: lightning crotch swelling pelvic pain back pain heartburn acid reflux belly-so-big I have to sit with legs apart splitting stomach muscle pain insomnia dizziness and painful BH
Sciatica. Not fun. Starts just to the side of my tailbone and radiates down my left hip and leg. Icing my back at work to keep the pain at bay. That just started this week. If this is what I have to look forward to for the next 6 weeks, I hope Little Miss decides to make an early arrival!
I forgot one. This one happens in the evening. Twice now I've been out in a store walking around and the muscles on my left side feel like they're pulling when I'm standing up. Sitting down makes the pain go away. It just feels like the muscles are being stretched too far or something. Kind of like a stitch but not more frontward and a bit more painful.
I've been really lucky to miss out on the swelling thus far; though I know it's coming.
Right now BH are my worst enemy. I'm chugging water all day and night, and it's doing nothing to prevent or stop them. I'm getting 20-30 minute bouts of BH between 3 and 6 times a day. I brought a heating pad to work to help with the back contractions in particular.
Additionally reflux is killing me and making night time sleeping even more difficult (if that was possible). And I'm so full of organs and baby that I'm also getting mildly nauseous after meals. Which is just super.
I'm so tired. I keep thinking about how difficult labor and delivery are going to be with my energy level as low as it is. Bleh.
So I posted this on the 10/5 symptoms board but thought that since this one was alive and kicking I'd post it here too in case anyone else is experiencing this.
Diastasis recti anyone? The searing pain in my stomach in between my abdominal muscles is awful. I'm wearing a belly band today to try and support it. The crazy thing is I'm smaller than I was with my DS but man oh man this little one is pushing her back and bum against my belly and literally tearing me in two. Ouch!
So, I'm not sure if this is just a new symptom or means something bad: I was in a car accident on Wednesday (other driver hit me head on) and I was under observation for 4 hours before they decided LO and I were OK, but now she's moving around like crazy and I had a fairly long and painful contraction (I think?) last night along with more frequent BH's. Called my doc and am waiting for a call back, hope it's nothing!

Right there with you. DD2 actually tore up my muscles pretty badly. This guy is just adding on to the damage. I wear a Blanqi support which helps s lot, but I still feel the tearing.
@kbduke burn the bras! And the pants! I can't understand why we haven't developed more comfortable maternity clothes yet??? Perhaps it's why so many of have resorted to lularoe? I can't stand much else. 7 weeks!!!
@maamawaabangi I was literally thinking the same thing today driving and yesterday at work. Like who the hell wants any kind of pants or band of pressure at the abdomen while pregnant? I was thinking I should develop a winter line of maternity dresses in my entrepreneurial dreams. End of summer pregnancies at least have empire waist dresses going for them at the home stretch. I can't even put my socks and boots on by myself right now.
@SaraRose83 I hate putting on socks too... it feels degrading.
Yes! And I miss my sandals so dang much. Trying to tie shoes or put on boots feels like an Olympic event! 4 weeks until my due date...then maybe I'll be able to get dressed like a normal person again.
@KateH1216, it was still mid 70s here last week, so while I may look like a fool, I've been rocking my sandals, shorts, and "flowy" tops (I'm a SAHM, so don't have to bother with work wear). This summer, which has stretched on forever, has been a blessing (clotheswise) and a curse (heat and humidity).
The only symptom I can really complain about atm is (TMI) diarrhea, which has persisted off and on over a week. I know that it's not uncommon towards the end of pregnancy, but I'm over it. The doc gave me lab orders last Thursday just in case it hadn't cleared up by this week, and at this rate, I'm going to have to take in a stool sample for sure (sigh). How embarrasing. Sorry for the long b*tch.
I'm at the point where any movement from Ash hurts. I don't think my tummy can grow much more. I look weird because my legs and arms are skinny and then my tummy looks like an almost perfectly round sphere.
I'm looking forward to the magic moment when he drops because it seems I can't breathe well in any position. This especially sucks at night.
I can tell my hormones are getting super funky because I feel way more weepy and have cried a lot more than I've ever cried in my whole life. Before pregnancy I rarely, rarely cried. The seems past few weeks I'm sobbing or having some tears fall over strange things!
