@eggplantface We can definitely hang out. When I was in New Orleans last year I had shrimp and grits for three or four meals in a row, including breakfast. SO GOOD.

@lulu1180 no judgement.  I would probably do the exact same thing as long as it was reasonably clean.  And as for FFFC #2, absolutely 100%.

 

@glitterfish I understand wanting to do it face to face or make it special but there is a time limit for sure.

 

@kiki75 agreed but I am an OCD person when it comes to keeping stuff like that clean and that is just not necessary any more.

@eggplantface I LOVE that movie and that part you are talking about is my favorite.  Every time I see it on tv I check to see how close they are to that part so I can watch.  I know I am BSC.

 

My FFFC is that I am still fairly new to the bump and I am always a little hesitant to post.  I don’t want to say something stupid and get flamed lol.  Also I do not like the app interface but I am never on my computer and if I open the page it crashes constantly.  I do however always scan the board to see if there is any posts out of the ordinary to see if they are a drive by that is about to get it.

@Pepper16 - I found them at my regular grocery store - Quaker (the oatmeal company) makes them! Not authentic, but pretty good for making at home!

My FFFC is that I like to make a list of personal thing that I want to get done during work hours because it makes me feel like I'm getting paid to bring my mail to the post office, print papers, pay bills, fill out papers, or anything else that I need to get done.

@bumpybump  I have such a busy life that I want kids so that I can just stay home every weekend. My H and I moved away from family and friends for work and all we do is visit each other so it would give me an excuse to do what I love most. Hermit

I will start buying Christmas presents (that aren't wintery) in October because I have 12 nieces and nephews to buy for, including one with a November birthday... but do NOT put Christmas music on or decorations up around me until after Thanksgiving. I love the holiday because it's about being thankful and being with friends and family. Stores really ruin it for me. PS I hate Fridays because of traffic that drives me to shop on the way home.

Am I crazy or was TB down for several hours this afternoon with a super weird message about a name resolution error? (I was going to take a TB break after that nasty drive-by made me cry, but then when it was down I realized I missed you guys so so so much.) 


My FFFC is that I don't know how to NTNP. My husband and I had a long conversation yesterday about TTC and he essentially said he wants to NTNP during what we had previously agreed would be our "it sucks but we have to" TTA period (given our move in July 2017 and his new job starting in August 2017). I was like... look yo, I temp, I don't even know how to NTNP.




Anyway I'm having a STRONG lemon drop right now. Hello vodka my old friend.

@adirat It was totally down! I couldn't get on for hours! There was supposedly some huge internet hack that knocked out some sites. But looking at the time posts for some other people in the group, I think it only affected certain areas. I'm east coast.

I'm on the west and it was down for a few hours (I'm like @lulu1180 so I noticed...) and I was terrified I was never going to be able to talk to any of you again  And NTNP at this point also sounds impossible to me. After all the charting and noticing, how are we supposed to just NOT KNOW when BD would be "well timed" or not??

@Pepper16 Yeah, exactly! I plan to keep temping because I think I have a luteal phase defect, so it is literally impossible for me to NTNP. Not to mention that every cycle I charted, I o'd between CD15-CD17 and I have obvious EWCM, so barring something strange I know when it's happening.

@adirat Right! But I also totally get the need to take TTC out of the equation with the move and all you have going on. Hopefully it will reduce stress now and lead to better timing later! p.s. I'm still waiting for EWCM - "obvious" sounds amazing. To the vodka!!

Ahh @adirat that's such big news that you two won't be fully TTA. I completely agree, though, I couldn't just ignore the signs we've all learned. 

My FFFC is that while I should have been upset from the get go that there was a large scale cyber attack against the US....it didn't feel personal until they took down the bump.

Thanks. You guys are so kind and optimistic. @BrambleRose Thanks, but I neglected to write that he is wrong. We do need to TTA -- we can't have a late July due date when we are going to move cross-country during July. He's just trying to deal with how sad he is that it hasn't happened yet... 

Of course if he wants to NTNP anyway, we may be restarting TTC for August due dates, since he'll be starting a new job but I won't, so what do I care?

@adirat They attacked a company that "directs" users to websites. It wasn't specific sites, but all controlled by that company. It's nuts!

Here's an interesting fact about me: I studied abroad in Russia. I one hundred percent believe any claims of the Kremlin trying to take down the internet and/or voter registration databases.

@lulu1180 One semester. But I lived in a homestay so I felt like I got a real taste of Russian life. I studied in St. Petersburg and also spent time in Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, and Kiev in Ukraine.

 FFFC ...... My best friend and his wife are about to have a baby. Congrats to them. They came over last weekend talking about how upsetting it was to find out they were pregnant. They didn't want to have children. She cried and cried for days. I understand, things happen BUT they both know we are TTC and this has been in the making for awhile. I couldn't bring myself to even speak. Just smile and nod. I was so hurt and disappointed. This is more a rant than anything but come on people.

that sucks @FLAshley. I don't know that I would have been able to keep it together in front of her. We all know how babies are made and of course there are accidents but she's definitely old enough to know how to prevent.  I don't feel sorry for those people. That was so insensitive to you.

I am flaming myself for lurking BMBs. Sometimes I catch myself before giving a love tit and then I remember where I am. Other times I am filled with rage like when someone recently posted that she is pregnant with her fourth child and is 27 and typing 27 made her feel old. I wanted to tell her off. Someone else posted a pee stick and only one person said something. People get away with way more on BMB than on TTGP!! I'm feeling so ragey today. Go ahead and flame away!
