I thought of mine this morning after I checked the mailbox. I judge people who send out family photo cards for every. single. occasion. I got a photo card this morning from a family for Halloween, who have already sent this year a thank you card, we've moved card, and a birthday party invitation that were all family photo cards. We got a Christmas card last year, so I know there's one on the way this year too. Maybe I should also expect a Thanksgiving card. I realize this is just me being bitchy and to each their own but seriously, who gets this many professional family photos taken?! I also never know what to do with them because I feel bad throwing them out.

I like to creep on other pregnancy/TTGP boards and watch the crazy, and sometimes I read so much, that I start to **feel** the crazy and I have to remind myself that most people dont have exaggerated blue veins in their boobs at 6 DPO so its gonna be ok.

@hartmich I can understand doing photocards for Christmas and maybe a very young child's birthday....but Halloween???  Hell no!  That's completely ridiculous and unnecessary!  Think about the postage that they're paying to send out all these cards!

My FFFC is that I am horribly gross person.  On Monday when I was at the dealership getting my oil changed, I check my CM and CP in the bathroom there.  Thankfully this isn't your typical dealership bathroom (it's actually nicer than mine at home!)  We had other errands we had to run after the oil change and I wasn't sure when I would get to check it otherwise and I wanted to keep it in the same rough time frame that I usually do.  Not to mention I was just entering my FW

I confess I do not get waiting more than necessary (like getting home from work) to tell your partner you are KU. It's his child, not a pinterest project!! 

ETA: If you don't want to tell anyone else yet and plan something special for that moment, I'm cool with it lol.

I get irrationally annoyed when people don't remove their pregnancy tickers within a reasonable time after birth. As in ones that say you're 158 weeks pregnant.

My FFFC: I feel like I'm responsible for the recent HORRIBLE drive-bys on the board.

I was having a bad day on Wednesday and thought to myself "huh, there haven't really been any this week. I could go for an off-the-wall one." You know, one where the OP had sex last night and wants our "IMPUT" on whether she's KTFU, or maybe where OP discusses "homemade pregnancy tests." I wanted to giggle, but not have anyone's feelings get hurt.

Clearly, I should have specified to the universe that I did not want to see anyone's BFP pee stick.  Nor did I need to see a poster gush "like omg yay KU before my 30th birthday!!1". Both of those really messed me up yesterday -- oddly the second more than the first.

@Kiki75 I hate seeing those too!  Like I'm pretty sure you're not 482 weeks pregnant right now, how about you just fix that....

@Kiki75 I was really confused when I started lurking here and saw some of the astronomical pregnancy tickers. 
@GlitterFish How can people wait to tell their SO?! I'll be so excited that I would probably implode if I waited more than a couple hours. 

My FFFC: I like doing laundry. I feel like it is the best chore for simultaneously being lazy and feeling like you're being productive.

Now question for you - I seem to be shrinking a LOT of my laundry lately (it's getting shorter, I'm not JUST getting fatter) even though I wash everything on cold! I have a very basic washer without any fancy settings that I might be using wrong, so what gives?? And the elastic of my sports bras are shrinking which is strangling me! Would washing on warm help??

@GlitterFish do you dry them in the dryer?  Heat setting there can cause them to shrink too. 

My FFFC: I get jealous reading some of your weekend plans. Weekends before having kids were so different and reading many of yours makes me long for them again.

@bumpybump I'm sure I am guilty of this with some of the older bras, so hopefully the newer ones I won't destroy in that way. I've also recently shrunk a dress (now it's a top), a flowy tank, and my favorite fall jacket which thankfully is still wearable until we are in full on sweater season! Those were all smaller right out of the washer, no dryer.

@bumpybump I actually get a little jealous when others talk about their current kids because I'm trying for my first.

@GlitterFish I would definitely avoid drying the clothes that are shrinking. I have several shirts that I don't put in the dryer (even though the tags say they can be) because they tend to shrink up a little. You also might try drying them on the delicate setting if you don't want to hang everything up.

I have a friend who just had a baby back in April. Now, I don't mind you posting pictures/videos of your baby every single day and sometimes multiple times a day. I mean, it is annoying but whatever. What irritates the crap out of me is that with every picture her post says something along the lines of "My baby does this" or "Our baby did that". First of all, everything your baby is doing, ALL BABIES DO THAT! For example, they all fight trying not to fall asleep. Second, when you say "My baby" instead of using the kids name, it sounds like you are just boasting. Like, "MY baby already got his MENSA letter." Your baby is not some speshul snowflake.

I have snapchat to watch 3 fashion bloggers with babies and Chrissy teigans baby. My DH said to me "why do you keep watching videos of the same baby?" I'm weak!
We are the first of our 5 siblings and most of our friends TTC so I get no IRL baby fix!

@hartmich I have this scanner on a desk in my kitchen. Stuff like that goes through the scanner and then into the recycle bin. If it’s close friends maybe it will go on the fridge for a month, but the scanner helped alleviate “throw away guilt”

My FFFC is that I use old Grad threads to SS. Last night I read all the way back to May. However this is 100% justified in my brain because it is on the bump which is a science based community, it's not googling "sore throat as early sign of pregnancy" so, just reading others' symptoms and convincingyself I have those is completely ok

@bumpybump I want an excuse to have a boring weekend. Kids will give me that... although I will also use them as an excuse to drag DH around to historic landmarks, too!

In a nutshell, I tried to eat healthier and track over the last week in an effort to lose the 7 pounds I gained over the summer. Weighed today and up nearly 2. Guess the huge bowl of ramen I ate last night didn't help!

@abjm0325 @julesDP please come do my laundry!!!!!! Or at least put it away for me lol. I'm the kind of person who will convince myself that the laundry in the dryer is still damp and needs another 20 minutes so that I don't have to put it away yet.

@BertieMeetsGertie I'm honestly not a big SNL fan. Some of the more popular skits are funny, but I can't stand waiting out the entire hour to see if one funny moment comes along. You've probably seen the best of it on Youtube. 

@NYTino24 at least 10% of the reason to have kids has to be using them as excuses to get out of doing stuff!

@hartmich I have never heard that level of commitment to cards. Do they spend their free time taking pictures and writing addresses? Because damn. That's a sad hobby.

@lulu1180 Ain't no shame in that game. I check my CM every time I go to the bathroom, almost by habit now. Oooo there's a good GTKY: weirdest place you've checked CM? I would guess something like a port-a-potty at a music festival while wasted would be the winner.

@GlitterFish Don't you understand EVERYTHING should be a Pinterest project?? That's the whole point of being pregnant, right?

@NYTino24 From what I've heard about children, using them as an excuse to not do things you don't want to do is the number one reason to have them.

My FFFC is that I judge people who put sugar in their grits. Grits are made for salt and butter with the occasional slice of cheese. It bothers me way more than it should.

@eggplantface It's weird because they have a TON of hobbies. I definitely have way more downtime and wouldn't ever consider sending all those cards, etc.

@NYTino24 There are so many things I want to do with kids that we're waiting for! Pumpkin patches, Christmas trees, Disney... So future baby needs to hurry up and get here. (Yes I realize these are things you can do without kids, they're just things that I always pictured us doing as a family.)

@Basherbaby OMG grits! Probably one of the main things I miss about living in the south! Thankfully we can still get them up here and I'm actually making lemon garlic shrimp and grits tomorrow

99.9% of the time I completely agree with you - grits should be savory. But I have been known to, only when I'm really craving something sweet, to put some maple syrup on mine. *hangs head in shame*

My FFC: I enter fake data in FF to give myself CH, check when my due date would be, and look up the horoscope to see if it's compatible with mine. BSC RED ALERT.

I revenge ate the last of H's favourite cookies because he decided to tell me (on CD2) that my hormones were ridiculous and I need to get that shit under control.  Mwah haha.

@hartmich That is way overboard. And all I can think of is how much money has gone into all of those cards. 

I guess my FFFC would be that I feel no guilt throwing out photocards.

I thought we were the only ones trying to conceive based on compatible astrological signs!  We don't *believe*  in astrology, but we've noticed that we  consistently get along better with certain signs. There was actually one month when my husband didn't want to try because the baby would be a Gemini, and the only Gemini he knows is a little crazy.

*raises hand* Yup. Certain birth dates concern me because of the respective astrological sign. DH doesn't put any stock into this, and I can't convince myself to TTA for any reason, so it's just one more thing for me to obsess over lol.

Rando FFFC I just thought of because grits reminded me of My Cousin Vinny: My goal in life is to memorize the entire part of the movie where Mona Lisa is on the stand explaining why the getaway car couldn't possibly be a '64 Buick Skylark. Everything after "No, the defense is WRONG!" I can't think of any real reason why, I just know it's something I must do.
