Endometrial Receptivity Array (ERA)?

Re: Endometrial Receptivity Array (ERA)?

  • @APM_SLP I feel like my RE only calls herself when it's really not good news. Typically my nurse leaves all the results on my voicemail if I don't answer (even when I had my chemical pregnancies) and my RE only calls if it's really bad news like cancelled cycles or something that is going to significantly impact moving forward. My fear now is that my lining is one of the like .02% that is non-receptive.
  • @mtpbadger Hope they call back soon--it will be so nice to get results before the weekend

  • Nope, no call. I'm going to have to try to not go down the "what if" worse case scenario rabbit hole this weekend.
  • @mtpbadger is there an online portal that gives you access to your test results?

  • @vic311 I wish there were an online portal but nope. Had a talk with DH and have pretty much come to terms with whatever happens happens and there's no sense in worrying about it all weekend. Much easier said than done but we have a jam packed weekend which will help!

  • Hi ladies, tomorrow I go in for my second ERA biopsy. Thankfully my RE does a good numbing beforehand--serious props to him for that. Then I think I'll go right into another cycle of meds prepping for a FET. So many injections...

@mtpbadger did you get your results today?

  • Nope! Did get on my REs schedule for a phone meeting at 11.30am tomorrow though. I think I'll be more surprised by any type of good news at this point and have fully prepared myself and am expecting any type of bad news.
  • @Vic311 Hey good luck today! Again, I am SUPER jealous about the numbing. My second one was so horrific I am never going to do it again without some sort of anesthesia of some type!

  • @vic311 good luck today! My place didn't numb at all either!

I'm counting down the minutes until 11:30am and I have to say, I'm pretty nervous, since there's been so much build up to this conversation since last week.

  • Just got off the phone and I'm not sure what to think. ERA came back as receptive so that really didn't give us any answers. Talked with my RE about the recurrent loss panel and immune panel and she's on board since either something will show up there or it won't and at least we can rule that out then.

My RE did her fellowship at NIH and they dealt with all the cases no one else could figure out so she is going to reach out to the Medical endocrinologist she used to work with to run my case by her to see if she comes up with anything. My RE is basically stumped at this point but is willing to keep trying.

  • @mtpbadger I've been following along because I'm curious about this. Getting a normal test is great, how frustrating too. I'd be curious to see what tests they suggest for you and what they find out.
  • @mtpbadger I know it's frustrating not to have answers yet. I guess it's good to get the ERA results and know for sure which day you are receptive. It sounds like the other two panels may give you some helpful info and I'm glad your RE is going to keep working with you on it  :) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

AFM, biopsy was this morning and I'll hear back in two weeks. Until then, I'm going to enjoy holiday parties and not worry about having a glass or two of bubbly!

@Vic311 Yall won't even believe this:

    I am POST-RECEPTIVE.

That's right. Day 6 I was pre. Day 7 I was post. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. I freaked out and my RE said basically we would have to do a half dose of crinone to meet in the middle. Like wtf yall.

  • @Vic311 well our lab is closed until Jan 10th for cleaning. So my next FET cycle will start with my next flow, probably around Jan 1? Then hopefully FET mid-Jan and keeping our fingers crossed because at this point its all we can do.

  • I got my results from my second ERA test and I was receptive. So now I'm preparing for a FET sometime around Jan 1st, adding one extra day of progesterone.

I'm hoping the results of this test gives us all better chances for success. I'll be rooting for all of you!
