I'm so curious about this! Did anyone have it and have a successful transfer after? What clinics are people seeing this offered in? No where I've talked to seems to offer it.
@mtpbadger I relaxed or about 10 minutes afterwards and then went back to work! Had some mild period like cramps for about 2 hours. It was fine after the actual procedure was over!
@kangastein my clinic is in the SF Bay Area. Idk who else is doing it but definitely ask your RE! Mine said he had recently done it with 2 other patients who (unlike me) came back not optimal. Once they figured out how much PIO they needed to become optimal, they both got pregnant on their next FET.

@kangastein I'm in the Washington DC area. My RE said it's a still a fairly new procedure and a lot of clinics don't have much data on it yet but it sounds like my clinic as a whole has done it quite a few times (there are 35 doctors total in my clinic that range from va, DC, md, and pa).

Surprisingly, the biopsy wasn't so bad! Only a tiny pinch and no cramping afterwards. My RE numbed me up pretty well though. He said results should be back in 12 days. In the meantime, I'm going to start meds for my next FET cycle. We are going to just use the results from the ERA to possibly bump the transfer date one day in either direction if that's what the results indicate.

All I can say is OUCH! No numbing over here either! First the catheter wouldn't go in so she had to try a few times and then didn't get enough sample the first time so had to put the catheter back in and scrape again! All in all it wasn't unbearable but not something I would choose to do again anytime soon!

@omarismyhomeboy I'm dying to know too! Just got an email from my RE office and no "endometrial hyperplasia or carcinoma". Always good to hear, right? They said my ERA results should be in by next Thursday, which will also be my final lining check before my transfer. I'll continue to keep you ladies posted.

So here's my question and my RE didn't seem to have a good answer. For those who are either pre-receptive or post-receptive on day 6, would that affect getting pregnant naturally? Meaning that if the egg was fertilized normally and traveled to the uterus, would it typically arrive either before or after the endometrium was receptive? And result in no implantation? Just curious, I guess.

Yall, I had my second biopsy today...IT WAS AWFUL. The first hurt bad but the second was even worse. He couldn't get through my cervix and had to basically pry it open and I cursed and yelled a lot and then he told me he was sorry

@omarismyhomeboy Yes!! I guess this is the reason for doing the test. I was hoping to do my FET next Tuesday but now it's turned into another biopsy. It will give me a little more confidence knowing that we are catching the receptive window. I hope we both come up receptive on this ERA cycle!

I'm happy to see all you girls getting your results! I have another question about this, do you think if I got a positive test once and then a bunch of negatives in later transfers that this could still be an issue? I would imagine I would have never gotten the positive if I was pre or post receptive.
Of course the one time I step away from my phone is when my RE calls and leaves a voice message that my results are in. I called her back maybe 2 minutes after and she wasn't available. I'm sure she will call when I'm in the car or not able to take notes/concentrate.
I'm a little nervous! Wouldn't she have said the results were normal in the voice mail if they were?

I thought I'd join this thread since it is recommended that I do endometrial testing before another cycle. Glad to hear that the pain isn't too bad!
Multiple months of Clomid/Femara
End of March 2015: BFP with Femara! Saw heartbeat at 5.5 weeks. M/C at 11 weeks
Multiple more months of Femara
IUI #1 with Femara and Follistem 75 units: BFN
IUI #2 with Follistem 150 units: BFN
Dec 2015: 1st IVF. 10 eggs retrieved with 8 eggs fertilized. 5 day transfer of two embryos with 2 frozen embies. BFN
January 2016: FET #1 2 embryos: BFN
March 2016: 2nd IVF cycle. 4 eggs retrieved with 2 fertilized. Quick two day transfer of both embryos: BFN
April/May 2016 IVF #3. 11 eggs retrieved. 10 mature. 7 fertilized. 2 5AA blasts transferred 5/11/2016 BFN
September 2016 IVF #4: 17 follicles growing, premature ovulation through Cetrotide. Retrieval cancelled.
April 2017 IVF #5: 9 follicles growing, 6 eggs retrieved with 5 fertilized. Transfer of three blasts. BFN
June 2017: IVF #6: 2 follicles growing, 5 eggs retrieved with 5 fertilized. Transfer of 5 3-day embryos. Chemical pregnancy. BFN
Nov/Dec 2017: Donor egg cycle. 33 eggs retrieved, 26 mature. 26 fertilized.

Yall, I had my second biopsy today...IT WAS AWFUL. The first hurt bad but the second was even worse. He couldn't get through my cervix and had to basically pry it open and I cursed and yelled a lot and then he told me he was sorry

Of course the one time I step away from my phone is when my RE calls and leaves a voice message that my results are in. I called her back maybe 2 minutes after and she wasn't available. I'm sure she will call when I'm in the car or not able to take notes/concentrate.
I'm a little nervous! Wouldn't she have said the results were normal in the voice mail if they were?
