3rd anniversary with the bump....

Hi All-

Just wanted to vent a little. I just got my 3rd anniversary patch with The Bump... and it really surprised me how bummed I felt to see that. Obviously I know how long we have been trying, but seeing it right there on the screen, hit a little close to home.

Anyway, pitty party over! I hope everyone has a great day!

    Hey @dani4est - yea... I imagine that was a bit of a shock. I haven't been on the bump as long as you, but have also been trying for a long time (since early 2012 we think...though could have been 2011... it's been so long we've forgotten clearly haha). But I had a moment talking about it with someone and their empathy made me step back and go woah... it has been years and nothing to show for it. So hard. I fully empathize. Big hugs. We ladies here on this board are luck to have you though. <3

    Started TTC April 2011
    Me: 32, DH: 32
    Diagnosis: Endometriosis

    • 2012 - 3 Rounds clomid - all BFN
    • 2013 - 1 Fresh IVF with 2 day 3 embryos - BFN
    • 2014 - 1 Frozen IVF with 2 day 5 embryos - BFN
    • Took a long break, continuing trying naturally
    • Feb 2016 - Biopsy = Endo, DH sperm improved from 1% to 6% morphology
    • March 2016 - Fresh IVF cycle with acupuncture & intralipids: 20 eggs retrieved (17 mature), 7 ICSI'd fertilized, 9 naturally fertilized. 16 total embryos!
    • April 8th - 2 embryos (1ICSI and 1 Natural) transferred. (7 blastocysts frozen), April 18th - Beta = BFN
    • Sept 23rd - Lupron Depot Injection for Endo control
    • Nov 15th 2016 - Started daily Lupron Injections for upcoming FET
    • Nov 22 - Baseline US/BW - Intralipid Infusion - Start Meds for FET with immune protocol
    • Dec 16th FET transfer of 3 embryos (1 - AA, 2 - BB)
    • TW below
    • Dec 22nd - first ever bfp (very faint lines FRER & cheapie)
    • Dec 27th Beta = 192, Dec 29th Beta = 379
    • EDD - Sept 5th 2017

    @dani4est I totally get how you feel.  I didn't join until a year and a half after we started trying but it's truly hard to still be here while so many others have moved on.  Hugs to you and hope that this year will be different. 
    TTC since August 2014 
    Me: 41, Him: 43 

    DX: Unexplained secondary infertility 

    History:
    Multiple months of Clomid/Femara
    End of March 2015: BFP with Femara! Saw heartbeat at 5.5 weeks. M/C at 11 weeks
    Multiple more months of Femara
    IUI #1 with Femara and Follistem 75 units: BFN
    IUI #2 with Follistem 150 units: BFN
    Dec 2015: 1st IVF. 10 eggs retrieved with 8 eggs fertilized.  5 day transfer of two embryos with 2 frozen embies. BFN
    January 2016: FET #1 2 embryos: BFN
    March 2016: 2nd IVF cycle. 4 eggs retrieved with 2 fertilized. Quick two day transfer of both embryos: BFN
    April/May 2016 IVF #3. 11 eggs retrieved. 10 mature.  7 fertilized.  2 5AA blasts transferred 5/11/2016 BFN
    September 2016 IVF #4: 17 follicles growing, premature ovulation through Cetrotide. Retrieval cancelled. 
    April 2017 IVF #5: 9 follicles growing, 6 eggs retrieved with 5 fertilized. Transfer of three blasts. BFN
    June 2017: IVF #6: 2 follicles growing, 5 eggs retrieved with 5 fertilized. Transfer of 5 3-day embryos. Chemical pregnancy. BFN
    Nov/Dec 2017: Donor egg cycle. 33 eggs retrieved, 26 mature. 26 fertilized.

    I feel you.. sometimes I get reminders in my timehop or memories or being on the bump forever that I was *tw* KU 4 years ago (ended w m/c) *tw*. Hang in there, we will all graduate to a BMB someday :)

    May 2018 - IVF #1; 8 snowbabies. transferred 1 embryo - CP
    August 2018 - FET #1 -- Healthy Baby Boy  <3

    TTC #2:
    July 2020 FET; beta 1 310, beta 2 1278
