1. Did you watch the debates last night? If so, thoughts? About 30 minutes and then I had to go to bed because this pregnancy is sucking the life out of me. I thought it was painful and uncomfortable to watch. Trump is incompetent, over confident, rude, and a master manipulator. I am completely shocked that there is even a chance the American people will vote for him. (Hoping this doesn't belong on an UO post, but maybe I should have saved this question for Thursday...lol...) 

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? Teen Mom...and 16 and Pregnant. 

3. What color is on your nails right now? Red--Vodka and Caviar from OPI...selected because I would love a vodka martini right about now. 

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? Tomatoes! It's the weirdest thing...tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes...give me ALL of the tomatoes, please.

1. I didn't watch because I had to work, but DH watched and told me about it. 

2. I love watching the Duggars and Bringing up Bates. Those are the families that have 19 kids. The new season of counting on is so boring, but the Bates family is always fun to watch.

3. Nothing. Which is weird because I usually always have something.

4. I've been craving salad. DH thinks it's hilarious because all he's heard about cravings was on tv where people want sweets.

1. Did you watch the debates last night? If so, thoughts? Yes. Hillary killed it. She was calm and presidential. Trump behaved ridiculously, as he always does. My husband and I laughed out loud at him about three times. I'll reserve any more opinions I have about him right now but I just hope the American people see him for what he is.

Real Housewives! 
3. What color is on your nails right now?
None. I used to paint my nails all the time but now it seems like one more thing to keep up with. 
4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? Nope! I haven't really craved anything. Last night I had a random craving for oatmeal but it wasn't intense or anything.

I did. It was tough to get through without the ability to drink gallons of wine. I truly cannot imagine raising my kids in Trump's America.

Call the Midwife! Also....Teen Mom.

Nothing on my fingernails- I am terrible at sitting still long enough for them to dry without smudging. My toes are burgundy- I can't remember the actual name, but it's Essie, and they always have the best polish names

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week?
Toast with cream cheese and strawberry jam! It's the only thing that sounds good in the morning

My DH and I have different political views, so it often starts arguments when anything political comes up/on so I avoid it.  I also live in the boonies, which is all about Trump, and I think he's an idiot, so that is stressful, so again I avoid it.

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? I love anything Bravo related, Real Housewives, Flipping Out, Below Deck...

3. What color is on your nails right now?  Nothing on my fingers, a purple-y color on my toes.

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? No cravings, no real symptoms at all, living life symptom free right now!

Thank you for mentioning the debate! I thought about it, but I didn't know if it would be well received. 

1. Did you watch the debates last night? If so, thoughts? Yes, and this is the first debate of 2016 that I've watched without a drink and that made it a lot more painful to watch than any of the others. 

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? Lately I've been too busy to do this, but when I get the chance I like to watch P. Allen Smith's Garden Home show on Saturday mornings.

3. What color is on your nails right now? I stopped painting my nails (except for special occasions) about 4 years ago because I realized it gave me more stress than enjoyment (matching colors to outfits, preventing chipping, waiting for it to dry, etc). Nothing on my nails today, but my toes have leftover nuetral pink/purple/glitter from visiting my sister in August. 

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? Not this week. From the week before my period until maybe last week I had been craving chocolate milk. That went away.

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? I love Vanderpump Rules. I know it's terrible and trash, but I can't get enough of the drama

3. What color is on your nails right now? Nada - I never wear nail polish on my fingers, but purple on the toes.

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? No food cravings, but I'm starting to dislike coffee again. I hated coffee when I was pregnant with DD and could only drink lattes (I even bought a latte maker from Amazon and it's amazing)

1. Did you watch the debates last night? If so, thoughts? Nope, I'm Canadian so I avoid as much as possible, it stresses me out. I'll probably check out highlights sometime this week though because I'm also nosy.

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? All of the reality TV haha! Teen Mom, American Gypsy Wedding, all the ghost hunting shows.

3. What color is on your nails right now? No colour, I never really paint my nails. My toenails have chipped blue and purple though.

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? Not really crazy. I am not wanting junk food as much as usual which is super odd for me. I've been loving sweet potato the last few weeks so we'll see how long that lasts haha!

Oooh I'm glad we have a post on here about the debates. In case we were worried about lack of drama & snark in this group, politics can sure fix that. 1. Did you watch the debates last night? If so, thoughts? Yes I did. I was ready to go to bed at 9, but DH got home and we watched. I was so wired that I couldn't even go to bed right away when it was over. My thoughts -- well I'll just get it out there that I'm a democrat. My biggest reaction was that I was literally uncomfortable watching in the beginning because of how much Trump was interrupting and being a bully. One source I saw counted Trump as interrupting Clinton 51 times and her interrupting him 17. Another source was 28 to 7. It was pretty sickening. Also, I just can't get behind his, "I should run the economy because I am a successful businessman" argument. It would work if his success had been build on innovation (e.g. Steve Jobs) and/or he had ever given back to the community (e.g. Bill Gates). But it seems like his success was built off gaming the system and pissing on the little guys, and that he has never done anything for anyone other than himself. (I could go on and on about this man, but that's what's on my mind right now.) Meanwhile, I think that Clinton is literally the calmest person who has ever run for president. Ovaries of steel to put up with Trump in that debate. Not to mention, she knew her stuff and did a good job. 2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? I love the crime ones like Law & Order and CSI. But I've watched pretty much all of those that are available free (like on hulu). So right now I'm watching Rizzoli & Isles. It's so bad, but it's my go-to now for when I'm emptying the dishwasher, folding laundry, etc. 3. What color is on your nails right now? naked. I don't ever really use nailpolish. 4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? Maybe this should be in FFFC, but DH had some fancy cold cut meats out during the debate and I totally ate the prosciutto. I'm assuming that is a no-no because of the no cold cuts rule but I know the odds (extraordinarily low for listeria, etc) so I went for it anyway.

1. Did you watch the debates last night? If so, thoughts? Yes.  I was both laughing and terrified that the American people (and my drunk uncle) would consider electing Trump. I'm with her only because Biden isn't available, but Hillary did a great job last night.  I loved her "The Office" looks at the camera.

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom, and the Kardashian shows.

3. What color is on your nails right now? I got a gel manicure last weekend and they did a chrome effect over the top of OPI's Mod About You.  I'm obsessed with looking at them right now. 

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? I feel like I'm constantly suffering from motion sickness this week.  When I can eat, it's cheese or spicy food.  Yesterday I ate 5 different types of cheese throughout the day.

1. Did you watch the debates last night? If so, thoughts? It was a hot mess and the lack of wine sucked. DH and I couldn't stop remarking about what a bully Trump is, and how he just kept bragging about his successes instead of sharing his plans. We don't love Clinton either, but she held herself together well for the most part and I think her background as a first wife and senator is helping her a great deal. I pretty much tuned out after a half hour or so. What I don't get is that people seem to want to vote for Trump but most people I see on here and social media by far just trash talk him. Except for my dad. Ugh.

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? Bachelor/Bachelorette! DH knows that Monday nights are off limit when the season is airing

3. What color is on your nails right now? None. I haven't painted my nails in years!

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? Nah. I just don't want anything. It's weird, I'm not nauseous but no food appeal to me. I have to force myself to eat.

The Big Bang Theory- its funny and something I can have going in the background when I'm cleaning house. (Though, who am I kidding. I have a two year old, so it's pretty much always Fireman Sam in the background playing and I don't have time to clean house.)

Nothing, but I've been thinking of colors to paint them for a few days now.

Not really. I get these weird flash cravings when I'm hungry, but I never get to eat what I'm actually craving, so they usually go away pretty quick. But pancakes was the last flash craving I had.

1. Did you watch the debates last night? If so, thoughts? Unfortunately I did...this election has turned into a horrible SNL skit. I joke around with DH and hope that Texas will succeed from the Union and we will just move there. Joanna Gianes just seems so delightful....I think we could be best friends.  

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? We don't have cable so we watch lots of Netflix- Quantico, House of Cards, Fixer Upper (duh!), Friends, New Girl, and Home improvement/ Travel shows

3. What color is on your nails right now? chipped off orangish pink 

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? MEAT- I love it! This is sooo different from my first two pregnancy (2- DD)- I am starting to hope that this one is a boy!

Yes, absolutely. I think this kind of answers question 2 also--there's so little substance in this type of political performance but I can't stop myself because it's such a horrible circus. I went all in, guiltily: right before the debate I caught up with debate forecast political podcasts during my slow pregnant-lady exercise walk, during the debate I simultaneously followed along on Twitter and a couple of live-blogging political sites, and after the debate I stayed up to watch the live taping of the fivethirtyeight reaction podcast. I should have been in bed WAY earlier.

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show?
Other than political nonsense, any and all British costume dramas, and House Hunters marathons.

3. What color is on your nails right now?
Naked but I'm going to go bright cherry red today or tomorrow.

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week?
Two wildly divergent cravings, one somewhat junky and one weirdly high end: Kraft single slices and, last night, brandade (rehydrated salt cod whipped with potatoes and cream and baked. What? Why? How?)

no, I'm Canadian but the thought of Trump as president really scares me. I love the "bro-mance" between Obama and Trudeau at the moment.

The office. DH and I are literally watching it through for the the 3rd time.

red on the toes, nothing on my fingernails. I've been considering getting a shellac manicure done to make me feel a bit more "pretty". Too tired and bloated these days to do much with my appearance.

Yes.  I agree with what pretty much everyone else has said.  I hate Donald Trump.  I'm not a diehard Hillary fan, nor am I even really a democrat (although I usually vote that way).  But man, I hate Donald Trump so much.  I hate that a huge amount of his fan base came as a direct result of him saying ridiculous, racist stuff (birther rumor, Mexicans are criminals and rapists, ban all Muslims, etc.) and I also hate how he cannot take criticism at all and he cannot be wrong.  I saw a lot of that last night.

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show?
@pshaortao I'm with you.  Loooooove the bachelor/bachelorette.

3. What color is on your nails right now?
None, I never do my nails.

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week?
No cravings, just hungry all. the. time.

Yes, and the lack of wine made me very sad.  @Kipperoo, that WP piece is hilarious.  And spot on.  

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show?  
The Real Housewives (NY or Orange County, but mostly NY) and the Bates show.  (A weird combo, I know.)   I go months without watching them and then binge watch whenever I'm sick.  

3. What color is on your nails right now?  
Nothing on my fingernails currently, although even when I do paint them it's usually just clear.  My toes have pink glitter on them.  My DD and I had a "pedicure" day to paint her toenails for the first time last weekend, and she picked.  

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week?  
MILK.  ALL THE MILK.

I do not like that Trump interrupted Clinton so much, because that says a lot about him and I hope his supporters see that. He's very impulsive.

I watched about half an hour of them, got depressed that this is the state of our political process and then turned on Netflix.

Pretty much anything on the CW is my guilty pleasure...the vampire diaries, reign, arrow. So cheesy and so good.

1. Did you watch the debates last night? If so, thoughts? Yes I did. I think that Hilary did a much better job. NPR had a fact-checking article this morning and it showed that to Hilary's 2-3 inaccurate statements, Trump had like 50. Why does anyone support that man? 

2. What's your guilty pleasure TV show? Right now I'm watching Married at First Sight. It's one of those shows I love to hate but I can't stop watching.

4. Any crazy pregnancy food cravings this week? Sort of. I made spaghetti for dinner one night but I did not want the pasta sauce (too smelly!) so I added sour cream to my pasta instead. It was so good!

No, I got done with homework and turned on Call the Midwife until H came home. Then I fell asleep watching that and H turned off Netflix so he could watch the debate. I woke up eventually and went to bed to watch the last of season five of Call the Midwife.

3. What color is on your nails right now?
I have not painted my nails in 11 months. I used to love acrylic nails, but they got to be too expensive to keep up.

Nope. I love chocolate and crave that every day, but that's nothing new.

1.  Yes, I watched the debate last night. Ugh, I can't believe how many people just LOVE trump, and are saying that he's never told a lie, that's all media manipulation. These are people (Facebook friends) who I would never suspected this from!  And I'm not a huge fan of either of them, but Hillary clearly came out way ahead last night! 
2. I love the bachelor everything, especially bachelor in paradise! It's something I don't usually admit 
3. I never paint my fingernails (I'm a painter and a quilter, I keep my nails super short to be out of the way!) and my toes are gold! I feel fancy with painted toes!
4. Nope nope nope! Food sounds so bad all around!!  The only things I can force myself to eat are toast and Mac n cheese.

So DH came home from work. Apparently a few of his coworkers also hate Trump but not as much as Hilary. So they said they will vote Trump just so Hilary won't become president. One of the reasons being is that she's a liar. I just can't wrap my mind around this especially knowing that.. well so is he. Last night debate didn't change their mind at all. The joys of living in a republican state I suppose? 

@vrj0522 I will have to check out that article! Also sour cream in spaghetti? Thats interesting =P I like this oily type of dressing (newman) in mine

1. Nope. I'm Canadian so I only have a casual interest in American politics. I've enjoyed watching the debates for previous elections, but I refuse to give Trump any of my valuable free time. 

2. Currently it's Vampire Diaries and Buffy the Vampire Slayer

3. They're naked. I'm not allowed to have anything on my nails at work so they've been like this since I got married. 

4. No specific cravings. It's kinda all over the place. We were eating dinner with my parents the other night, and when my mom said she was making fish, I immediately thought "nope!" And made a grilled cheese instead. Two days later I woke up and wanted lemon pepper cod for breakfast.

1. Nope. I should have but I couldn't bring myself to. I seem to be in the minority but I tend to align with the Republican Party or at least just a more conservative standpoint on a lot of things and I hate that Trump has made that an embarrassing thing to say. I find him to be abrasive and emotionally unstable but I also find Hillary to be unlikeable and untrustworthy. Even though it may be "throwing my vote away" I am seriously considering voting for Gary Johnson. I live in a heavily Red state so I'm not sure it will matter anyway!
2. Definitely bachelor everything. Law and Order SVU. Most everything on HGTV and Dateline! 
3. Naked fingernails now. Actually they're a huge mess - jagged and uneven and just ugly. I am pretty hard on my nails at work so I don't tend to get them done or do them often. Pink on my toes that's getting pretty sad since it's from my birthday in August...

Yes, but I got annoyed very quickly so I asked MH to turn it off @ShadeofGreen816 I am so glad to see I'm not the only republican here! I know it's an unpopular opinion but I can't stand Hillary! Not that I love Trump but I can't stand that people will vote for someone solely based on their gender or race!

Pretty Little Liars or The Bachelor/Bachelorette

Nothing, we aren't allowed to have them painted at work

Not sure if I should be thankful or worried but I haven't craved much of anything yet.

1. I can't vote yet but I did watch a bit for entertainment value. It's kind of funny to watch as an outsider. Trump is so ridiculous.

2. Toddlers& tiaras lol oh and 90 days fiance (which is a completely wrong name for what the visa actually is). I came to the U.S. on a different visa but this show is like watching a train wreck - just can't look away.

3. Chanel rose confidentiel. I like doing my nails but I'm too lazy to do it regularly. I love Zoya and Butter London though. 

4. I don't really have any cravings yet.

The Bachelor or Real Housewives. DH says I'm "loosing brain cells" watching them but sometimes I just need to veg!

Toes-maroon Fingers-nothing right now but I'll probably do something this weekend

No crazy cravings yet!

No nail Polish on right now. I usually paint my nails on special occasions. I know, I'm not girly girl, but I try to be cute sometimes.

1. I watched just a little bit and was not impressed.  I thought Hillary handled herself in a more presidential way. Like previous posters I lean more conservative and Republican. I'm sad with our current choices and at this point don't know where I'm voting. 

2. The Bachelor/ette, in paradise, etc.  PLL (though behind one season).

3. No nail polish on right now. I'm a bad biter so currently have no nails to paint. Working on growing them back.

4. I've been craving mashed potatoes all week. Finally made them tonight and sooo good! Otherwise having a little bit of a heat aversion, I'm much preferring cold/cool food compared to piping hot.

Somehow totally forgot to mention my love of all things Bachelor/Bachelorette...can't wait for a new season to start up but a little sad that my viewing parties will be missing copious amounts of wine.

@NurseK2016 Do you know people who vote for someone just because of their sex or race? I know a lot of Hillary supporters and I can honestly say that none of them are voting for her just because she's a woman. It's great that a woman has a shot at the White House, but I don't think anyone is voting for her just because of that. Likewise, I've never heard of anyone who voted for Obama because of his race. I have heard of people who voted against him because of it, but that's ridiculous. Please explain.

Agreed, NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot, I haven't ever heard of someone solely voting for a candidate based on sex or race. If these people exist, I'd like to know more about them because that seems crazy to me. I'm a Clinton supporter because I agree with most of her politics...it's a bonus that she's a woman, but only because it illustrates how ridiculous it is that we've never had a woman president in this land of supposed equality. Even when Palin was in the VP running, although I completely disagreed with her politics and never would have voted for her, I thought it was a good sign of the (belated, inevitable, and very necessary) changing tides seeing a female candidate in the running.

@NurseK2016- I respect that some people are not Hillary supporters...but I only respect that stance when it is built upon a solid, educated foundation. Citing the "woman card" as the only reason people are voting for her (or the "race card" for Obama) is insulting. I'd guess that the number of people who cast their vote based solely on this criteria are greatly outnumbered by the number who are voting for Trump solely because he is a white man.

You just wrote out my thoughts but I want to add one thing. Just like it might bother some that someone might choose to vote for a candidate simply because they like? their race/sex, it really bothers me that people might vote for someone completely incompetent simply because of their political party.
