Re: Symptoms Check-In 9/21

  • 5 weeks over here and nothing too exciting.  Mainly I have a bit of bloat but that's pretty much it over here.

    BFP!! 8/29/16 --> EDD: 5/11/17....it's a GIRL!!! :)
  • Almost 6 weeks and terrible nausea and headaches all day.  Also weak and dizzy when I stand up, but I also have a cold so that might have a lot to do with it.
  • Oops, put this in the wrong week...

I'm 4+4 and hungry all. the. time. Also nauseous when I don't eat which is fun, particularly later in the day.  I get really tired at the end of the day but I'm not sure if that is due to pregnancy or cutting out coffee.  Also having a lot of trouble in the bathroom department which could also be due to cutting out coffee (but it's been quite a few days so I don't think so).
  • 4+5 here. My main symptom is a mix of insomnia/fatigue. I'm exhausted at the end of the day and can usually go to sleep fine. But then I wake up 5 hours later and can't go back to sleep.

  • I have almost no symptoms. Maybe TMI, but my nipples hurt sooo bad! Otherwise, no nausea, not a ton of fatigue, no morning sickness, no moodiness. It's almost scary to me how okay I feel.

  • I'm exhausted. This morning I stood up too quickly and nearly fell over. I feel like my body is having a hard time ramping up for this pregnancy while functioning at work and breastfeeding my toddler.

  • I'm 5 weeks and 5 days. No nausea yet, but I'm looking forward to it. (That's not sarcastic. After having no morning sickness, followed by a loss, I want all the uncomfortable symptoms.) I keep groping myself to make sure my boobs are still tender, which they very much are. I feel exhausted. I was out of breath at belly dance class last night, and my dance friends kept asking if I was ok. I laughed it off and said I was still just sore from Barre3 class. I was so exhausted that I cancelled my class this morning before work, which I rarely do.
  • I have ALL the nausea and while I have never really thrown up during pregnancy, I dry heave all day long. Even during my treadmill run this morning, I was dry heaving. It's awful right now. I think I've hit the peak of it (or at least I hope so!).  Shortness of breath, exhaustion, fuller but not sensitive breasts, some dizziness, insomnia, constipation. I'm full of them right now at 8 weeks.

  • @MollyandD no one in class has asked me about it yet, but I know i've been noticeably less intense in my jazzercise class. I'm usually the one who goes all out and is dripping sweat, but now i have to take a water break after every song and am definitely not doing the moves as enthusiastically because i'm so out of breath! I'm just waiting for the instructor to ask me if something's wrong

  • I'm 6+6 today. Exhausted (fighting bronchitis, so that may have something to do with it), tender boobs, sluggish bowels. Really matte/dry skin. I usually have combination skin, and my nose needs to be blotted several times throughout my day. I've noticed that it's constantly matte though. It's a nice change of pace. However, the dry patches I had before are even worse now. I'm starving all the time too. And very much bloated: I busted out maternity pants for work the other day. Absolutely no nausea yet, and I do not miss it. I had it AWFUL with my first two. I would like to enjoy a pregnancy for once, so I hope it stays away.
  • 7w+6d. Feeling more and more nauseous as the days go on. My appetite has definitely slowed. A week ago I ate everything I sight and now nothing sounds good. I'm still napping every day while my DS naps. And the insomnia is a real big pain.

  • 5+5 here. The fatigue seem to come and go. Yesterday I felt okay and didn't really a nap. Today I'm anxiously waiting for DDs naptime so I can nap too. And I feel like I have to pee alllll the time and have been waking most night feeling like I'm about to burst! I'm also increasing my water intake so I can stay hydrated

  • 7+6 days here...I feel perpetually hung over. Tired, a little sick to my stomach, irritable, and wanting to eat everything that's bad for me.

  • 4+2 here so I'm still easing into symptoms. Mostly just sore boobs (noticed that I could feel them while walking through the grocery store today. Ow!)
No nausea but I'm very bloated... I constantly am burping after eating! My poor husband must think I'm disgusting.
I've been so thirsty but drinking tons because I'm normally bad about that.
Also my eye has been twitching, which started about a week before my BFP and my BSC self thought it was pregnancy related. It became kind of a joke in TTGP. But it keeps going and I can't help but think it's related? Is that crazy?

@ShadeofGreen816 one of my eyelids has been twitching for ~4 days. I wasn't sure if it wasn't related, so I looked it up last night. Google says it might be a magnesium deficiency. I looked at my prenatal vitamins, and sure enough, they don't have magnesium. I'm going to adjust what I eat to try to get more in my diet and see if that helps. Until my appointment. Then I'll ask my doctor.

My other symptoms this week. 6+4 weeks. I've been so exhausted at the end of the day. Each night my body feels like I spent the whole day walking at a theme park. Not sore, just heavy and done being awake. I have a stuffy nose and a sore/scratchy throat. Sore breasts, cramps sometimes- much less than before, I think I'm still bloated, constipation, and I'm not interested in eating chocolate anymore.
Edited because this iPhone update makes too many autocorrects when I don't want them.
  • 7 weeks today. Very ridiculously sore boobs. I sleep on my stomach and last night when I laid down in bed it almost took my breath away how painful they felt. I've had nausea for a few days. Much better today. And then of course I get worried because I feel better today.

Also during the night I have to pee ALL THE TIME. I was up 4 times last night in 6 hours. But during the day everything is normal.

  • I'm five weeks two days.  Not much going on here, some tender boobs last week.  My stomach is not the same, I get stomach aches easily, appetite is wonky, no morning sickness yet.
  • @jatwal128 I was out of breath too. We are practicing for a performance that is in a couple weeks, so we were just drilling the dance over and over. This choreography has a lot of steps and traveling anyway, so on top of being exhausted quickly, I was a mess.
  • I'm in the middle of 6 weeks. Just sore boobs, off and on nausea/headaches and feeling tired. The worst is still my skin - I'm like a teenager again! Just started a new face wash to see if that'll help. Another thing which may not be so much a symptom as related to anxiety or just feeling blah is having a low sex drive. We haven't DTD some we conceived! I'm just not feeling it and he hasn't tried anything... normal??

  • @oliveoil totally normal!  Who wants to DtD when you feel like puking?  And I'm going to bed at like 8 every night so there's no way I'm going to waste any sleeping time with sex right now.
  • The bloating has officially gotten real. For the first time today I feel like it is just too uncomfortable to suck my stomach in at all. There is just so much gas build up in there and I can feel it. Good thing i chose a loose fitting dress today...

  • 7+3 now according to first ultrasound I had on Monday. I thought I was almost 8 weeks and am super bummed because that means farther away from 2nd tri, which I am just begging for with all this nausea. I'm even taking diclegis for it and still not feeling great. Other than nausea, I feel cold all the time and just recently all the color is gone from my face. It scares me a little because I haven't vomitted but I just look like a ghost. Everything smells bad too. Today is my birthday and it's taking everything in me to just wash my face and throw some makeup on so I look alive. Can't I just sleep for the next three weeks please???
  • Uuugggghhhh the dry heaving... Absolute worst. Especially when you're brushing your teeth.

  • This has been a crazy week symptomatically. Wednesday-Friday last week were normal, with typical symptoms; some nausea, sensitive nose, etc. On Saturday I was feeling my symptoms raging strong. I had nausea and that hung over feeling. Insomina abounded. Then on Saturday night a stressful event occurred, with the stress carrying into Sunday late afternoon (when something happened to make the situation better, though not gone.) Then I was bleeding Sunday night and was convinced it was a stress-induced miscarriage. I realized at this time I hadn't had symptoms all Sunday, in spite of also not eating much all day. I didn't have them Monday or Tuesday, either. But today I felt some nausea and had a healthy ultrasound! Total rollercoaster. I'll be welcoming the return of symptoms, assuming they do return.

  • @kat81 I am so glad to hear you had a healthy ultrasound!
  • Previously: super-nose, light pressure/cramping, brown spotting, and major bloating.

Added to that this week: fatigue, lots of burping, sore nipples, occassional breast twinges that feel like pins are attacking, and one scary/painful cramping episode with nausea and sweating (hoping that doesn't happen again!).
  • @starphish18 I'm also struggling with lots of burping.  It is weird and I don't like it.

Is anyone else just feeling really really unmotivated at work?  I e don't know if it is pregnancy or something else but I just can't bring myself to be productive.  Some of it is definitely the fatigue, but it's more than that.  Like I can't get my brain started on more cognitively-demanding tasks.
  • @kat81 So glad to hear about your healthy u/s!! what a relief!!

I'm 7w1d today and my symptoms have morphed I think. I had crazy sore boobs for the first few weeks, but now they've gone away to be replaced with some of the most painful gas I've ever experienced. I burp a lot and the gas buildup in my intestines is just ridiculous. It hurt so bad the other night I could barely sleep...

I hope that's a good sign.. I've been kind of having a similar rollercoaster week as @kat81 and I go in for my u/s tomorrow.
  • I'm 6 wks today.  Boobs were sore last week, not so much today.  I think they look fuller (didn't have much to begin with)I tried sucking in my stomach last week and it was definitely so uncomfortable that I'm never doing that again.  I feel like I'm showing even though its only the size of a pea.  Stretching out ab area is also super uncomfortable.  Found that out last night when I was in bed.

No nausea, no nose sensitivity.... Sometimes I worry of the lack of symptoms.

  • my boobs have been my main sign that there's really a baby in there, but my stomache has gone from just unsettled to very nauseous today. I'm starving but nothing sounds good. I need to eat bc I'm so shakey but I don't want to cook. I just want bread... kings Hawaiian bread but we have none and it is nap time. worth calling my husband at work??? I wish!
  • My boobs just hurt a lot. Nothing else. I really really really don't want the nausea to come...
  • @Jkp7749 Yes, totally worth calling the husband, in my opinion!
  • @starphish18 I so so badly want to! I better save it for when I really need something haha He works all the way across town so I highly doubt he'll go get me bread :) Plus I called him crying while he was at work yesterday...
  • At 5w0d my main symptoms are sore boobs, gassiness, fatigue, never-ending thirst and frequent urination. It appears that no amount of water will quench my thirst! Also, mood swings are starting - there are times when I want to punch everyone in the face. :X
  • @RainyDays86 Yes!! I haven't been productive or motivated at work since I got my BFP. It's a struggle!

  • @Jkp7749 Oh no! Hope you're feeling better. But there really should be more delivery services for pregnant women. I'm personally planning on using the preggo excuse to full potential before the hubbs catches on.
  • Dry heaving, nausea, occasionally throwing up... I feel like I'm in a constant state of recovering from the flu. I didn't have any of this with my DD and I seriously can barely function.  I've been sucking on preggie pops, but they don't help much.  Gatorade helps slightly. I try eating throughout the day, small meals. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Oh, and I don't want to forget the extremely sensitive/bigger boobs and face break outs. I'm a hot mess.  Pregnancy is no joke.
  • 6 weeks 3 days. Starting to feel really crappy. Extreme fatigue, nausea, dry heaves, super nose... yuck. So far it's not as severe as with my first two by this point... so fingers crossed the dry heaving doesn't turn into full blown stomach emptying...
