Gas, gas, gas. This also results in lack of appetite later in the day. Feet get swollen if I sit for too long and I just feel big and bloaty in general. I eat healthy and drink lots of water and exercise so I don't know how to get rid of it. Baby's kicks are getting really strong and sometimes wake me up at night. This week (25 weeks, 2 days) was the first week that I really started to feel like pregnancy was taking over my body. 15 weeks and counting, I guess!!
Me: 34, DH: 33 // Met: 10.21.2007 // Married: 9.18.2015 BFP: 4.29.2016 // EDD: 1.2.2017 (IT'S A BOY!) Born 12/26/16 BFP: 2.10.19 // and MC on 3.19.19 BFP: 7.9.19 // EDD 3.16.20
The second trimester energy boost definitely bypassed my household. I still want to nap every day! I'm wondering if its a real problem (anemia) or just a present that the Pregnancy Elves left me. I guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks after the CBC exam.
On an unrelated note, today while I was driving I realized that my boobs were touching my belly. Feels utterly bizarre!
To anyone debating making the plunge to get a pregnancy pillow--do it!! I can't believe I waited so long. This bad boy just gave me the best night of sleep I had in months. Even nights I didn't have insomnia, I had so much tossing and turning. I slept like a normal human (tangled with a human sized pillow, of course) last night. Thank you to all of the ladies who recommended it. Totally worth it.
@marynog Last night, my H came into the bathroom after I just got out of the shower and was drying off. He asked for the towel because he wanted to "show me something". He took the towel, stuck it under my boobs then said, "Since your boobs touch your belly, they can hold up the towel all by themselves!!" I'll admit that it made me laugh.
Little girl is kicking like crazy tonight! Since I have an anterior placenta this time, feeling her this much is extra special I am so excited to meet her!
