Morgan for a girl.

What's the opinion on Morgan for a girl. We're also adding Zoe and Ruby to the list. Middle name is probably Patricia. Last name starts with a W. Ds son is Ow.en Gregor.y.

I prefer it on a boy and feel like if you're going to name your daughter Morgan her middle name should be Faye after the OG, but I highly doubt anyone would side eye you.

Morgan is nms at all, very dated, doesn't sound terribly attractive. Your other choices are much better.

Personally prefer it for a boy but it's actually a unisex name so that is something one is going for I think it's a solid choice. My main issue is personal as every female Morgan I have ever met has been a giant asshole.

I like it. I prefer it for a girl over a boy and I think Morgan Patricia goes well together and with Owen.

I prefer Morgan on a boy, but it's perfectly acceptable for a girl just NMS. From your list I like Ruby Patricia.

I don't like Morgan for a girl, but I don't like masculine or somewhat unisex names for girls.
But anyhow, I don't like Morgan for your girl since it doesn't sound nice with Owen. I'd avoid the matchy -en/-an ending when picking a name.

I've known one male Morgan. I don't like Morgana at all. It makes me think of morticia. Lol! It's definitely not set in stone.

This is so interesting to me...I've never heard of Morgan as a boy name! I like it as a girl name.

Edit to add I just remembered Morgan Freeman lol. But I think that's the only male I "know".

As others have stated I immediately thought of Morgan Freeman, however it is a unisex name.

Honestly I do not like any of your names with Patricia as the middle name.

Patricia is a family name, and it is set in stone. I'm not terribly concerned with the flow.

Morgan is nice and as PP's have said I have only heard it on girls.. Ruby is my favorite though and it goes nicely with Owen

I'm so used to Morgan as a girl's name now that I wouldn't bat an eye at it. However, I personally dislike unisex names so I do try to avoid them. I prefer Zoe of the options you listed.

Morgan is fine for a girl. It's really NMS - the sound "morg" itself just sounds unattractive/abrasive to me.

Morgan has never sounded very pretty or strong to me. Maybe it's the MORG sound like someone said. I think all your other options are nicer. Even Patricia would make a better first name than Morgan. Ruby Patricia is lovely.
