@LuluMurph - OK, so that's not far off from what others are doing. Like @LoweeeK said, maybe they estimate the date initially but open to revise pending 2nd u/s findings. If you're still concerned about dating being best, feel free to talk to them about it! We have to advocate for ourselves in this process.

I had my ultrasound/bloodwork done on Sunday, CD 10... my estrodial has plateaued and I only have one 12 mm folli on the right. My RE increased my gonal-f, and I go back in tomorrow for another ultrasound and blood work to see if my little folli has grown. I feel like my body is just failing on me. Very frustrated....

I got got a call saying I'm not responding well to the stims still so they upped them again, had to buy another vial and my IUI will maybe be Friday/Saturday now. Frustrating! Did I others doing their first IUI have problems responding?

I had my 2nd US today, and looks like my follicles aren't quite where they want them, so they moved my IUI from Friday to Monday, with a Saturday evening trigger. I asked why they schedule IUI's right away, and they said it's to get you on the books in case you're ready to go. I felt better, but I need to work on my "blind-faith" in Dr's. No one is going to look out for me, except for me.
thank you @reesaAnne16... I tested yesterday at 10dpt and it was almost gone. the line was so faint that I could barely see it. So today, I'm hoping any sort of a line indicates a positive!! I had my beta appointment wrong, so hopefully good news tomorrow.

Well had my IUI this AM. Our pre-wash was 2.5 million. Post-wash was 200,000 sperm. We are still pretty hopeful! So hopeful we end up with something good!

@BabyBuckWay I have to agree with @ReesaAnne16. Trigger testing is so stressful. My first two cycles with hcg trigger, the trigger was completely out of my system by 9dpiui/10dpt. My last two cycles with an hcg trigger I was still getting faint positives at 13dpiui/14dpt. Just not worth it IMO.

I'm having a hard time keeping my mind on my work today. I took another test this morning. The line was just slightly darker than the one I took last night, but that could be the difference between FMU and end of day urine. Beta is at 10:30am today. Hopefully results by noon.
I also want to pick your brains a bit. if anyone has any insight...
If I still have synthetic HCG from the trigger in my system, will the beta know that? Can it tell the difference between synthetic and natural HCG? or will my number today be a combination of both?
Also, a question about at home pregnancy tests.. If the test measures 25iu of HCG, then is a faint or very faint positive when it hits 25? or is a line matching the control indicate a 25. are these tests reading less than 25 and that's why positives are faint?
I know we are all in the same boat here, but I didn't know if anyone has asked these before and might know. I will probably try and find another board to post on as well that is more geared towards pregnancy tests.

@Bababatty I know others have already followed up but my RE has always talked about cycle limits as it relates to the meds, not the actual IUI's. I tend to agree that if his motility is an issue, it might not be worth running down your number of allowed cycles (and spending the money) with medicated IUI's until you can get better samples for him. But keep in mind, too, I don't think those meds have hard limits; my doctor said they allow 11-12 cycles where they know you ovulated. We had a cancelled IUI last month, which also canceled my trigger, so they're not counting that as a treatment cycle toward my limits. So I think it's fudgy either way, and from talking to friends, different RE's have different limits.
@Katkirch I've never heard the 23+ thing either... Maybe that's why they had me wait so damn long last cycle when we ended up cancelling, because I did have some 15-17mm follies that on Clomid they'd been like "yup let's go, trigger and come in." That's good to know for the future.
@JWatt5 I always get ovulation pain and a bloated, gross, full, droopy feeling in my belly around my trigger shot. How severe varies month to month and med to med, but always something.
As for me, halfway through my TWW, and I'm so busy at work it's flown. A week from tomorrow, if AF doesn't show or look like she's showing up, I'll go in for the beta, although at this point I just kinda laugh when they say that because I've never even bothered going in for one, AF either shows up or is so close to showing up and I'm getting BFN's at home I'm like "eh, it's not worth wasting the copay and going to work late again." I do think I'm becoming a bit of a negative nancy about the whole process because trying to stay positive is such a terrible emotional rollercoaster, and I'm already emotionally on edge enough from all the drugs, so it's easier to just proceed as if it didn't work and not get my hopes up for a happy surprise. I know that's not what everyone advocates, but it seems to be working for me I guess.

So I'm finally posting here. I didn't think it would be real until just now. The last time I started Letrizole, my IUI ended up cancelled so they could clean some "junk" out of my uterus (sigh). This time I was determined not to get my hopes up, but I started Letrizole last week, took that for 5 days. I've been going in for BW & US all week and today I have 1 follicle that matured to 24. I'm going to take the Ovidrel trigger shots tonight and IUI is scheduled for Saturday. I'm so nervous!!! I'm scared to hope that it's going to work.
I don't know much more about the process so I don't quite understand the testing out your trigger talk here! I don't plan to test until they tell me to. I don't want to invite that heartbreak any sooner! OMG I'm starting to freak out just typing this. I'm going to need a serious distraction for 2 weeks or I'm going to go crazy!
@jwg9101 welcome! FX that this is your cycle! FYI, when people talk about testing out the trigger, they mean POAS to see if the trigger is still in your system- you'll get positives on HPT from the trigger until it's out of your system, which takes several days. If you hold off on testing until they tell you to, you shouldn't have to worry about false positives from the trigger.
I think I'm actually still in - They seemed certain yesterday I had ovulated and then this am as well but based today's blood work I haven't. They now think the "follicle" was actually a cyst (its been a confusing couple days, not the first cycle I was expecting). I have follicles on the other side I guess so they've upped my dose again as my estrogen levels do not seem to be moving well still and I go back Saturday am.

I got got a call saying I'm not responding well to the stims still so they upped them again, had to buy another vial and my IUI will maybe be Friday/Saturday now. Frustrating! Did I others doing their first IUI have problems responding?

I had my 2nd US today, and looks like my follicles aren't quite where they want them, so they moved my IUI from Friday to Monday, with a Saturday evening trigger. I asked why they schedule IUI's right away, and they said it's to get you on the books in case you're ready to go. I felt better, but I need to work on my "blind-faith" in Dr's. No one is going to look out for me, except for me.

@BabyBuckWay I have to agree with @ReesaAnne16. Trigger testing is so stressful. My first two cycles with hcg trigger, the trigger was completely out of my system by 9dpiui/10dpt. My last two cycles with an hcg trigger I was still getting faint positives at 13dpiui/14dpt. Just not worth it IMO.

I'm having a hard time keeping my mind on my work today. I took another test this morning. The line was just slightly darker than the one I took last night, but that could be the difference between FMU and end of day urine. Beta is at 10:30am today. Hopefully results by noon.
I also want to pick your brains a bit. if anyone has any insight...
If I still have synthetic HCG from the trigger in my system, will the beta know that? Can it tell the difference between synthetic and natural HCG? or will my number today be a combination of both?
Also, a question about at home pregnancy tests.. If the test measures 25iu of HCG, then is a faint or very faint positive when it hits 25? or is a line matching the control indicate a 25. are these tests reading less than 25 and that's why positives are faint?
I know we are all in the same boat here, but I didn't know if anyone has asked these before and might know. I will probably try and find another board to post on as well that is more geared towards pregnancy tests.

@Katkirch I've never heard the 23+ thing either... Maybe that's why they had me wait so damn long last cycle when we ended up cancelling, because I did have some 15-17mm follies that on Clomid they'd been like "yup let's go, trigger and come in." That's good to know for the future.
@JWatt5 I always get ovulation pain and a bloated, gross, full, droopy feeling in my belly around my trigger shot. How severe varies month to month and med to med, but always something.
@mrsdrwombat Holy crap such good news!! Congrats!
As for me, halfway through my TWW, and I'm so busy at work it's flown. A week from tomorrow, if AF doesn't show or look like she's showing up, I'll go in for the beta, although at this point I just kinda laugh when they say that because I've never even bothered going in for one, AF either shows up or is so close to showing up and I'm getting BFN's at home I'm like "eh, it's not worth wasting the copay and going to work late again." I do think I'm becoming a bit of a negative nancy about the whole process because trying to stay positive is such a terrible emotional rollercoaster, and I'm already emotionally on edge enough from all the drugs, so it's easier to just proceed as if it didn't work and not get my hopes up for a happy surprise. I know that's not what everyone advocates, but it seems to be working for me I guess.

I don't know much more about the process so I don't quite understand the testing out your trigger talk here! I don't plan to test until they tell me to. I don't want to invite that heartbreak any sooner! OMG I'm starting to freak out just typing this. I'm going to need a serious distraction for 2 weeks or I'm going to go crazy!

I think I'm actually still in - They seemed certain yesterday I had ovulated and then this am as well but based today's blood work I haven't. They now think the "follicle" was actually a cyst (its been a confusing couple days, not the first cycle I was expecting). I have follicles on the other side I guess so they've upped my dose again as my estrogen levels do not seem to be moving well still and I go back Saturday am.

I updated over the TWW group, but thought I would hop in and say by second beta doubled so I am officially preggers and doing well. I have an ultrasound in 2 weeks. I'm not sure I've ever been happier...
