When is your next appointment? Next Tuesday for the anatomy US (though we already know it's a boy). We're still so excited to see him!
Symptom changes? I think I feel him moving around. I'm a FTM so not super sure, but I think I am able to differentiate gas from movement.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I hate side sleeping. It makes me hips hurt so bad. My Snoogle helps, but still, I toss and turn so much due to hip pain. Tylenol seems to help, but I super wish I could sleep on my back. I miss it.
GTKY: what's your favorite part about being pregnant? Giving life to our son.
16+5! Alternately, about the size of a cinnamon roll
When is your next appointment?
4 hours. I had my amnio this morning, and see the OB this afternoon.
Symptom changes?
Nausea seems gone. Fatigue is a little better
Rant/Rave/Questions? My cervix is a little short (3.8cm vs the 4.0-4.5 that's normal at 16 weeks) I've got no idea how concerning that is at this point so we'll see how it looks when I come back in a month for the anatomy scan. GTKY: what's your favorite part about being pregnant?
Had a regular MW appt Wednesday. All was well! Next appt is the 23rd for our anatomy scan!!
Symptom changes?
Less nauseated/less morning sickness. And have had some round ligament pain if I sneeze or cough randomly.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Guess mine is sort of a rant.. I'm in an in between stage as far as clothes go. My prepregnacy clothes still fit, but the muffintop is starting to show... Tried on maternity jeans from my last pregnancy and they're definitely too big still... Very frustrating.
GTKY: what's your favorite part about being pregnant? For sure, feeling baby move! Not only is it an awesome thing to experience, but it's also very reassuming.
Small gerbil (says FitPregnancy - kind of gross no?)
When is your next appointment?
3 weeks and then the anatomy scan the following week
Symptom changes?
No more nausea!!!! My boobs are killing me though - so so tender
Rant/Rave/Questions? Could my husband please stop trying to touch my boobs?! GTKY: what's your favorite part about being pregnant? The anticipation and excitement of meeting our baby! And people are super nice to pregnant ladies
@MissMerciBeaucoup Totally agree about the husband/boobs thing! If H was answering the GTKY question, I could almost guarantee his answer would be my boobs being bigger is his favorite part of me being pregnant...
An action figure. I just had to change ovia off of foods because the sight of even a cartoon pickle makes me gag
When is your next appointment?
The 8th
Symptom changes?
the HG is controlled by the meds, hips are super sore
Rant/Rave/Questions? I am having some complications (sch and placental cysts and another kidney infection) and just feeling a little uncertain and overwhelmed by all the "could happen"s. Feeling a little bummed that this pregnancy isn't "normal". I know in the grand scheme of things I'm so lucky, and hopefully baby will grow to full term and not end up iugr or with further placenta problems, I was just hoping my last pregnancy would be a happy, simple time and I could just enjoy it and its a little more stressful than anticipated. GTKY: what's your favorite part about being pregnant? The belly. And the kicks. I'm feeling little flutters. Cant wait for solid kicks.
Thanks, @Ryder0406 - Waiting for the amnio was really stressful. The amnio itself was a long ultrasound and a couple of painful minutes, followed by ~ 30 minutes of cramps.
My husband wants me on near bedrest for the next couple days because I'm leaking tiny amounts of what might be amniotic fluid. He's trying so hard not to get attached before we're sure the baby will survive to be delivered, but I think knowing it's a boy has made that harder for him.
@Babymakes5! I'm so sorry you're not having the pregnancy you wanted. Is everyone still looking great healthy? do you have lots of helpers at home? *hugs*
Re: Friday ticker change 9/2
GTKY: what's your favorite part about being pregnant? The movements
Troll Doll according to Ovia
Some time at the end of the month. I've forgotten. Probably need to look at my appt card.
Nothing really. MS is back.
Rant: I had finally started feeling better, but it's gone now. I'm miserable again.
GTKY: Just knowing that I'm creating a little human is pretty exciting.
GTKY: what's your favorite part about being pregnant? Right now, it's feeling this baby boy move and listening to DD tell him goodnight before bed.
GTKY: what's your favorite part about being pregnant? Being pregnant. I love all the changes and what my body is able to do. I'm happy and excite
