Does anybody else's LO get hiccups almost daily that last a few minutes. I'm 100% sure thats what they as you can't really mistake them for anything else. It's cute but is that a normal thing ?
Yes, nearly every day. I think some babies are just more prone to them than others.
Well... this morning I can't read anything at a distance- it's as though I put my husband's contacts in instead of mine (he swears I didn't). I know my sister had severe vision problems (especially with her boy) starting at 6 months. At least I made it to 7 months I guess.

I am very nearsighted and I have bad astigmatism in one eye and I noticed that lately my vision had gotten much worse as well. Did not think it could be pregnancy related. Sigh.
elasticheart13 From what I've read it's caused by all the increased fluids putting more pressure on the eye/retina... Luckily it reverses itself a few days to weeks after birth!

Yes, vision can be affected by pregnancy. They recommend not getting a new prescription during pregnancy or nursing. I'm near sighted and just today I noticed that I'm having a hard time reading. Happens with each pregnancy for me.
ETA-yes, they go back to normal after bfing gets established.
Has anyone else ever experienced thigh numbness? My left thigh keeps going numb
Mine, too! Nobody has ever explained it to my satisfaction, but it happened with my second child, as well, and not any of the others. The bad news is that it got progressively worse the more pregnant I got, but the good news is that it stopped the minute she was out.
Anyone else's fingernails going to sh*t? Mine were so long and pretty... until this week (27). Now my hands look like those of a young boy...
Mine is the opposite, I've never had prettier nails in my life. On the other hand, my hair has never been drier and more frizzy. Looks like a haystack. So I guess it varies a lot.

My fingernails have also never looked better, but my hair is an oil slick. If I don't use a clear shampoo, I look like I put a vat of grease on my head.
Add me to the crap fingernails list. I stopped getting gel manicures because they were so pointless, lasting just 4-5 days instead of two weeks before my thin nails just broke anyway. Oh well. I'll be pretty again later! Right now I need to cook a baby.
I've got so much more hair on my head! Literally fluffy bits that weren't there before. Nails never looked this good ever! Can't seem to get my dandruff controlled though, no matter how much I use head and shoulders..
I was admitted through out the weekend with UTI ,but even though doctor signed me to off as no more sign of infection iwas still in agnony and feeling worse than ever made a pit stop at my GP because clear white discharge and lots of pain two days after being discharged out of hospital ,GP still picked up infection and did a cervical exam and said the cervix was soft.also while in hospital I developed a sore throat which has now developed into a cough that wont stop and everytime I cough the clear fluid gets more and the pain is unbearable ,should I contact my gynea again or what do you guys suggest ?
gizzymom I would let your OB/GYN know about your UTI and Cervix being soft. Make sure you take something for your cough and cold to, your OB/GYN should let you know what is approved to take.
Ok so I have a question! I am 29 almost 30 weeks pregnant. I've recently started getting lower back pain right where my hip bones are (so of course, cannot massage it!). I've tried taking a bath and it relaxes me enough to sleep but doesn't do anything for the pain. It's not excruciating but definitely uncomfortable. Has anyone else had this feeling? Any ideas on how to help!?

I have sciatic nerve pain/numbness. Not sure if it's what you're discrimination but the two biggest things that help me are being careful of my posture when sitting upright and seeing a chiropractor (if okayed by your OB) for hip alignment. Oh and keeping a pillow between my knees anytime I'm laying on my side to help keep the hips in line.
Another question! I have been cramping since this morning, i am not constipated and i know i have drank enough water, it was fine and manageable earlier but now that im home amd relaxed it seems to feel like stronger period cramps! Anyone else had this?

I haven't felt anything like this, but are the cramps rhythmic/ regular? Maybe the STMs here can help you discern your symptoms from labor.

If the cramping feels strong you should probably call L&D and ask them what to do.

Agreed, especially if it 1) doesn't stop with changes in position, going to the bathroom, or drinking a glass of water or 2) if the cramping/contraction feeling is in your back too and not just your stomach.
If I walk around to do anything for more than an hour my lower back hurts so bad. Almost like it's on fire, just started the beginning of this week. The only thing that soothes it is laying down for a couple hours and my hubby rubbing it while I'm in tears. I would love to know how to relieve the pain as well, but right now I'm guessing giving birth will be my only reliever.

You could try a chiropractor or a DO. DH is a DO and can put my sacrum, hips, and pelvic bone back in place in just minutes, for instant relief.
When baby has been moving today it seriously feels like he is going to kick right out the hole! Does anyone else feel this. When I'm standing it's almost painful!?

@Cwyatt2571 There are times when I think her foot's gonna pop out from kicking so hard I think it's tough when I'm standing and she jabs me near the vagina.
Anyone else noticed their teeth yellowing? Mine look AWFUL! And I've been way more diligent with my oral hygiene since being pregnant since I've read about gum disease and such with pregnancy.

My first cavity came after baby #1. After #3, I had three more and needed a root canal/crown. I'm dreading what is to come after #4. I'm on prescription mouth wash and tooth paste to hopefully prevent further damage.
My belly felt like a suspended rubber band about to be flung. Felt like I needed to bend down even though I was walking slow and the shopping trip was about half an hour.
