Californian here and while we have the random earthquake, I could not imagine living in a place that had threat of hurricane or tornados! Stay safe everyone!

It's crazy how much it's on the news here in Georgia!! We weren't planning to head to our Labor Day plans in SC until Saturday AM so it looks like we will miss the storm. Everyone in the path stay safe!

@kirstinH88 at least you can plan and prepare for a hurricane. I will take that over tornadoes or earthquakes any day. I guess it's like anything tho, it (natural disasters) comes with the territory anywhere you live. 

We are okay so far in coastal Virginia. Driving out to get DS from my ILs the am should be interesting

We just got power back today... It was out 27 hours.  Now we have to throw away all our food .  At least we didn't have any major damage.  The wind was crazy.  I slept on a crib mattress with my two year old in the hallway.  Ouch!
