I'm benched this month, waiting for HCG to go to zero. It was at 26 on Tuesday. Does it typically take super long? My body seems like it's trying to ovulate but not sure if that is even possible. I'm terrified to have another m/c but I played it super safe last time and that got me no where... Boo this process stinks!
@KyCade3013 It is really different for everyone. My first time around my HCG dropped pretty quickly, was below 10 within 2 weeks. The 2nd time around my numbers went down really slow, but I also had retained tissue that was causing my HCG to remain elevated.
I am going to hang out with you ladies a bit longer... I thought I was getting off the bench after 3 months but had my f/u today and OB wants me to wait one more cycle. What he said makes sense but it doesn't make it any easier to take. Hoping everyone else's stay here is short.

Benched for another month. Went to the specialist today and more tests. Some won't come back for another month and then a follow up after the results come back. Hopefully it will give us some info and we have something to fix.
@hopefulmommy1980 I'm sorry you find yourself benched longer. Are they doing chromosome testing that takes a month? Mine came back in about 3 weeks, so fingers crossed yours come back sooner than estimated.
They are doing chromosonal testing on me and my husband those are the ones that will take so long. He said three to four weeks. They are also doing a few other blood test but those will come back quicker. They have a few other test we have to do too. But it will be good to feel like we have checked everything we can. Thank you for the positive thoughts.
I had a mmc with a d&c at 10wks in April 2016 and a natural mc about two weeks ago.
Since I had a mc this month, I'm benched for one cycle. Also my dr said I need to get my thyroid checked out before we try again.
I'm getting blood work done early next month to help figure out why the mc are happening so I'm nervous for that! I hope if anything does show up that it can be easily fixed. I have hypothyroidism and I have a feeling that isn't helping me. I just want to be able to try and get pregnant again! I'm also worried about my cycles retiring back to normal. I stopped bleeding from the mc about a week or so ago and still haven't ovulated (I've started temping after the mc two weeks ago). My cycles were crazy (60 days long) after my d&c too so I hope things go better since I had a natural mc this time around.
I love everything about fall and everything pumpkin! It's my favorite time of year. I love the cooler weather.
I used the Misoprostol (Cytotec) at 6pm on Monday. Bad, menstrual like, cramps started about 7:30pm and bleeding around 8:30pm. Most of the tissue passed around 1am. I went to my OB at 11:30 on Tuesday and all but some small clots had passed. She was very happy with the results from the meds. I think I passed the remaining clots this morning. I bought a 20 count pack of Clear Blue Ovulation sticks last weekend, so I will probably start checking late next week. Hoping AF returns quickly so we can start trying again. Thank you all for your support during this time. It has really helped me get through this.

@NewMommyCoop I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad you are finally able to move forward, though, and that things went as "well" as they could have. I hope your cycle gets back on track right away!
Thanks @RiverSong15 - Part of me is tempted to try before AF, but ultimately if it ended in another loss, I would always wonder if I had just waited. So I will wait for AF and then we will try. I pray we have lots of BFPs in October!

It has been a little over a week and I am still having some on and off bleeding and cramping. Is this normal? The day after visit, I asked my OB about pelvic rest and she said as soon as the bleeding stops, so maybe a week. I don't know if I should contact her or just wait until my follow-up next Friday (Oct 7).

I had 11 days of strong bleeding after my D&C and then 4 more days of spotting (until CD15). I ovulated on CD18 and then had my thermal shift the very next day.
I've always had strong periods with heavy bleeding though.

Thanks @yolandamunoz . I normally have very light periods and I would not say this has been heavy by any means. It is just frustrating that it seems like it is over, no spotting or bleeding for half a day and then **TMI** sticky like blood that comes out and then nothing for half a day again. I guess this isn't concerning though.? At least not yet.

@NewMommyCoop That happened to me as well. I bled for about 5-7 days after both MCs, and then had "spotting" for another 3-5 days. At times, I would get a small gush of blood that was heavier than spotting, but then get nothing the rest of the day. Hopefully things taper off for you soon. As for pelvic rest, I was told to not have sex or use tampons for 2 weeks to avoid infection.
I got a solid smiley face on the CBE ovulation stick this morning. I was surprised but glad that I am ovulating. It stinks to not be doing the BD, but hopefully AF will show up in two weeks.
