She also keep talking about all this wedding planning they are still doing. Apparently her and her fiancée have not actually talked about anything. Meanwhile during all of these talks I am over here like....
Because I just don't want to hear it. I understand that not everyone is super prepared, but she really needs to educate herself on things.

Someone at work ate half my lunch out of my container -- gross! So rude and so unhygienic! Now I just want to go home. At the very least I am going to take my anger out by doing the minimum possible the rest of the afternoon.

Since I've been monogamous I've had a massive decline in my sex drive and probably wouldn't care if I ever had sex again. Orgasms I can do on my own. At first I thought it was because of the monotony of one partner, but I think it may be just getting older and being freaking tired all the time.

I had to take a work field trip to the next town over to prepare a shipment for a show. Instead of going straight back to work, I went to Jack in the Box for 9:30 am chicken strips. It was excellent .

DH and I went to Disney World this year. I don't get the hype. The rides are kind of lame, the whole place seems pretty dated (the ride in the Epcot ball ends with something like "can you imagine when everyone will have a personal computer in their home?"), for the cost you could probably go to Europe for a few days and most of the rides seem like they have nothing to do with the Disney movies.
Oh yes, @antoto, that was our plan too. Until Zika. Now I'll be lucky to have one next summer or next fall. No teacher wants to be out at the beginning of the year and go back to someone else's mess... cause you know it's always a mess when you return. #thanksalotzika

@swimsister - the only time I'd be excited to go to Disney if I were taking kids so I could see their excitement. I've gone three times in my life when I was younger. I have no desire to go as an adult for the cost. I'm sure if I become a mother it will suddenly become my dream vacation, but until then, no thanks. I did enjoy eating foods at the countries at Epcot...those were my fondest memories. But, I could just hit up all of the ethnic food joints in my city and that would probably be more fun.
@NYTino24 - admittedly, I do love air conditioning vs. no a/c, but I am cold everywhere I go, so I definitely relate. I take a sweater with me to all restaurants all year round like a little old lady. And I absolutely cannot fall asleep if my feet are cold, so wearing socks to bed is typical for me in the winter.
As for my own confession...I just applied for a management job mainly for the fact that my manager thinks I'd be great at it and not really because I actually want the job (lots of meetings/local travel). I'm secretly relieved that HR rejected me because I didn't have the required 5 years of management...only 3. I told my manager I was rejected and it's possible he may think he needs to intervene so that I am still considered. I also don't want it because If I do have a kid, my current job has the least amount of responsibility and I work from home two days a week and it is just a great job to have if you need to take time off, etc.

Even though the office is supposed to be open, I am the only one here with no one expected until 4pm. Naturally, I have locked the front door and am currently laying on the hydrotherapy bed, getting a massage and it's awesome.
@laurad75 I've been there before... I was constantly getting in trouble when I worked at a bank, and it was all micro-management. One day I called up and said "I quit. I'm not coming in anymore," ...which is not typical me (I'm usually mrs. 2 weeks notice). I was so sick of feeling depressed about sucking at work, I hated the job, and I felt like I was on the brink of being fired anyways. It was the biggest weight off my shoulders, and I would do it again given the chance. Just maybe a bit sooner! I hope there's some silver lining there and you find a new job that you really enjoy!
My fffc is my dh is recovering from surgery, so he can't go running, and we used to always go together... but I am super enjoying the alone time and just hitting the road and listening to music and not having to chat or try to go at his pace (he's actually slower than me at races... but would run faster on easy runs) it's like I run out any of my grumpiness when I'm by myself... but I don't get to when I'm with someone that wants to gush about how great of a time they're having and how much they love running with me. .. I don't know if that makes any sense? I remember somebody on here posting about their dh drinking pre-workout right before their run together and it would end up ruining their long run... so I'm sure some ladies on here can relate!
DH and I have been together for nearly a decade, married for 3+ years, so our sex life at this point is like......"we haven't done it in a month, better do it." I thought TTC might spice things up, but nope. It's just so hard to be interested in sex when our jobs are so draining! I just want to catch up on my favorite TV shows. Is that so much to ask?? The worst part is that DH is also so exhausted that literally neither of us are motivated to initiate outside of TTC. We were on vacation for 10 days and sex did not occur once because what's the point if I'm not ovulating? We're extremely affectionate - like, constant snuggling and peck kissing, but it's just soooo much effort to kick things into sexy drive.
Also, I'm super checked out in many aspects of my life at this point. Part of me worries that one of the reasons I want to have a baby is just to blow my life up.

My fffc is my dh is recovering from surgery, so he can't go running, and we used to always go together... but I am super enjoying the alone time and just hitting the road and listening to music and not having to chat or try to go at his pace (he's actually slower than me at races... but would run faster on easy runs) it's like I run out any of my grumpiness when I'm by myself... but I don't get to when I'm with someone that wants to gush about how great of a time they're having and how much they love running with me. .. I don't know if that makes any sense? I remember somebody on here posting about their dh drinking pre-workout right before their run together and it would end up ruining their long run... so I'm sure some ladies on here can relate!
Also, I'm super checked out in many aspects of my life at this point. Part of me worries that one of the reasons I want to have a baby is just to blow my life up.
