Pregnancy Hacks!

Re: Pregnancy Hacks!

  • @bnsmith85 I use my snoogle to sleep but did find a new use for it the other day when I was desperate to take some pressure off my back and try to find some relief from the carpal tunnel pain. If you curl it into a circle and then put lots of pillows above and below, it sort of makes something like a prenatal massage cushion with the cutout where you can lay on your stomach for a little without squishing the bump. If you try it just be careful because I did have to be careful and adjust so it stayed high enough, and maybe it's not recommended, but it was pretty amazing

  • @bnsmith85 I'm the weirdo who would buy something like that used.

@bnsmith85 I'm the weirdo who actually DID buy one used! I bought it from neighbor's garage sale - took it home & sanitized the crap out of it and considered it good to go  However...I also am not fond of it and rarely use it. It's currently just sitting in the corner of my room taking up space.
  • Damn! @AllyTheKid... I wish I had known. I totally would have tried to sell it to you lol.

Good of suggestion on offerup @mommabear444! No drool stains since I can't fall asleep while using it AND it has a cover on it so.... I may try to get some of our money back on this thing! Lol

For some reason, I feel like that's different... Bc at least you know the person.

anothee potential customer here. I scoured craigslist for a lightly used snoogle before I ended up scoring a major discount on a new in bag one (from craigslist as well). So there's hope!  I love mine. I still end up on my back but not nearly as much as I would otherwise. I alternate between letting the snoogle spoon me and hugging it as @Schell2013  described.

  • @bnsmith85 I was going to say, if we weren't already about to pop I'd offer to buy it from you, but now I don't see the point.
I'm sooo ready to get to sleep on my belly again!
  • I hate the snoogle and find it really uncomfortable. My husband is very hurt because I never use it and he bought it for me for Valentine's Day. I keep telling him that it's different strokes for different folks, and I'm sorry I don't like using it. I feel terrible, but just because a few pregnant ladies we know loved theirs doesn't mean I have to like it. Sorry, bud.

  • @bnsmith85 I've read people either love them or hate them. I'm lucky I love mine. And I also would've totally bought one used but everyone wanted new price for theirs so I bought a new one on sale. It's easy to wash though so I would've bought a used one if I had found one.
@chriscasey33 I think my hubs is almost getting jelly of me spooning this thing, but too bad for him.
