Love finally being able to log in and starting out with this! Congrats @camichael84! Can't wait to hear the news that Layla is here! You're a rockstar for keeping us updated!
Been a couple hours since the last update.. you could very well be snuggling little miss Layla right now! SO EXCITED (and pretty darn jealous). Hope the rest of labor has gone smoothly!!
Random: when we were checking into the office for her first pediatrician appointment on Wednesday, the receptionist asked how to pronounce LO's name. Really? Layla? Is there any other way?? It's not as ambiguous as Leila...pfft.
Oh my gosh...what a post! I'm off the bump most of the day and this was such a surprise. Good luck fellow Tuesday mama! I hope she's either here or very close to being here by now!
So sorry for the time delay on the last update. It's been a busy whirlwind since she was born! Layla Rose was born today at 12:54 pm after less than 10 minutes of pushing! She is 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 1/4 inches long.
Currently having some issues with my uterus not going down and some rather large blood clots, so I'm having extra monitoring. Layla is perfect, though! Nursing like a champ and no blood sugar issues.
Big sister is totally smitten with her! She just kept squealing "baby" over and over and tried to share a sun chip with her.
Yay! Welcome to the world, Layla! So happy dor all of you! I'll be thinking of you and hoping your uterus gets with the program so you can move along the road of recovery!
Sorry to hear you've been through so much today. Glad to hear she's doing well and I hope your recovery goes a little smoother from here out. Welcome little Layla! Congrats mama!
