I feel pretty good today, so of course now I'm feeling nervous...
Totally normal to get those nerves!!! When I would get nervous last time, I'd "test" myself by offering myself something that I knew would turn my stomach (usually chicken). Obviously I was hoisted by my own petard then, because I would return to being sick.
Feeling super queasy again today and my stomach feels so acidy...I suppose it could be heartburn but I've never hard heartburn before so I'm not entirely sure
Sorry if this is a little personal, but anyone else totally and completely lose their sex drive? I feel like I gained 50 lbs overnight, and everything hurts. Kissing even makes me nauseous.
I felt better this week than I did last week, I will be 6 weeks on Friday. I feel almost back to normal which worries me. I hate that I am going to be worried about MC for the next 9 months and I haven't even had one before. This pregnancy is so much different than the last one, I have no food aversion at all.
@kcasset -- yes, you're so right. I appreciate the perspective. After two losses, I'm very thankful for the MS. It does make it very hard to function, though!
@catem07 I feel bad for mine too! He's been awesome through this. I need to figure out how to get back in the mood. Maybe it's time for a hot guy movie marathon.
@JessWannaEatEverything, I already have a very low sex drive. But the other day DH tried to kiss me and I almost puked. I felt so bad.
I remember from last pregnancy that my sex drive increased for second trimester. And then at the end (when I wanted the baby OUT), my sex drive went way up! Lol. Poor DH, he never knows what I want.
I'm in the same boat as you, and I'm 7 weeks 3 days. I'm starting to get really nervous about it. My last pregnancy the nausea started right at 6 weeks. I keep telling myself every pregnancy is different, but until I see that heartbeat, I'm sort of a nervous wreck.
@STM2017 I'm glad I'm not all alone. Maybe I'll just tell DH I might want it next trimester - I'm sure he doesn't mind waiting a couple months. Hardy har har.
Not much sex drive either. But for me is my PGAL brain. I had two occasions of spotting and Sexy time may trigger more so we I migh just wait till the 2nd trimester.
@dax28 -- we're in the same boat. Our first US is in 2.5 weeks. I thought we would see what the OB has to say on the matter. I don't want to take the chance.
Literally every symptom mentioned. I didn't eat for 2 days so tried taking some of my old diclectin (diclegis for you Americans) and at first was super thankful because I managed to eat a sandwich a couple hours later. But oh Lord I thought I was tired before...I'm legit going to bed at 7 tonight. After 3 hours of napping while my kid did today. So killer.
I do feel tired and nauseous from time to time but what worries me is that I am frequently feeling mild cramps... I keep praying that it's just ligament pain but I can't help but worry- it's going to be a long 3 weeks until I hear the heartbeat at my next doctors apt :-) thanks everyone for posting. It's nice to feel like I'm not the only one worrying.
I have food aversions, no real nausea or throwing up yet.....but I know it's coming. I'm sure I'll ask my doc for meds immediately. Cereal is my friend, literally, the most delicious thing ever.
Some acne, but that could be from sunscreen from going to the beach.
I'm more tired this time, which I never had with the first two.
I go back to work tomorrow and am totally dreading the fatigue and sickness while trying to hide the pregnancy for a few more weeks.
Well after a bouts of light bleeding and off and on cramps since saturday I still have no answers after my ultrasound today. OB says everything looks normal for 6 weeks, but they couldn't see a fetal pole so no heartbeat. They said that can be totally normal (sometimes cant see anything until 7+weeks) and to recheck next week. Then we will known if it's a blighted ovum or viable pregnancy. OB thinks it is exercise induced bleeding since everytime there is bleeding its after i workout. So yay for the waiting game and being a pgal mess.
With DD (my first pregnancy) I had no symptoms except for tiredness. With DS I had morning sickness starting at 6 weeks. Each pregnancy is so different, so if you aren't experiencing symptoms yet, don't worry (I worry all the time so this is advice I can't even take!). Each pregnancy is so different, it's crazy.
I worried all morning because I wasn't feeling nauseous. I hate worrying and not just enjoying the nauseous-free moments!! And then I threw up my lunch...
4w1d today...so extremely tired...I want to nap so bad...got home early from work and am (with no luck!!) trying to convince my toddler to nap so I can nap!! How did I forget about this exhaustion?? constantly nauseous....boobs are enormous, as in already where they were at 6 month previously ,and the bloat...my pants are currently unbuttoned...
I've lost all my motivation, which is a big problem because I work from home. Other than that, I've been having cramps and fatigue. I feel like those aren't really true complaints, though after reading about your nausuea! Stay strong!

Nah, it's not the symptom Olympics. The symptoms thread is for sharing what you're going through, regardless if it's mild or debilitating. Don't be shy to participate just because some ladies have it a bit worse at the moment!
I think someone mentioned the lovely combo of feeling both starved and nauseated at the same time. That's me today. So blah. So hungry. Basically the only thing that makes me feel better is eating hangover foods.
I'm nauseous today, the dinner I have planned sounds horrible, and I'm craving something I literally can't get: a burrito made by a local company and sold in a local grocery store....in another state....several years ago.

This morning I was craving crepes that we had in Mexico for our honeymoon. They were full of fresh fruit, chocolate, and whipped cream. Unrealistic to send the hubby??
Fatigue and sore boobs are the biggest so far! I'm having to use the bathroom between every class (I teach high school and we have 4 90 minute periods in the school day). I also think my prenatals may be the reason I'm constipated.
@lovelongdog06 I also am not digging what I had planned for dinner. So we are going out for Mexican! YUMMMMMMM!!!! Hope you can find something that satisfies your craving.
I am not really having any super strong symptoms (mild boob tenderness and a bit tired but not really any nausea) and it's freaking me the eff out. Yes I know pregnancy is different for each person and even each pregnancy for a single person can be different (and this is my first pregnancy), but google is a terrible terrible "tool"... This process was probably less stressful when the Internet wasn't around to tell you what every symptom/lack thereof could possibly mean. Probably won't calm down until my first Dr appointment on Sept 8...literally counting the days
@mrs.shoe I'm having the same thoughts and this is my second! I keep reminding myself to enjoy this relatively symptom free time because it won't always be. Six weeks is when they all really started for me last time so maybe yours are still revving up for their big debut!
Exhaustion has hit me like a TON OF BRICKS the last few days. The afternoon hits and I am just done for the rest of the day. As in, I took 2 naps after 3pm yesterday and still slept all night long.
I so wish this nausea would go away. Instead it keeps getting worse! I had to get up twice last night and eat some pretzels because I would have puked otherwise. Even the slightest pressure from my pants and now even my bra make me want to hurl like my organs are being squeezed out. I think I'll be asking for some anti-nausea meds. I tried preggie pops and they make me feel gross, too
I loved being pregnant with my DD (except for the constant stuffy/runny nose). But I have to admit, I am not enjoying this pregnancy so far
Anyone having stomach aches and pain? I didn't get this with my first pregnancy but I'm getting it now and it comes on quick and hurts! I just want to curl up and lay down. I have nausea with it but don't know if that's normal. It's more middle stomach level, so not uterus pain. Ugh, it's not fun.
@mylittleirvz The contacts drying out is normal during pregnancy. I had that as well in my first pregnancy. Try carrying some drops around with you or you may just want to switch to glasses. Also, being on a computer all day for work will make it worse and make you blurry eyed. It's no fun for sure.
@pk921, I had stomach pains for the first time last night. I wasn't sure if I was feeling gassy, or stretching, or what was going on. It hurt, made me super uncomfortable, and a little nervous. It's gone this morning. But I definitely curled up in bed and made DH rub my back!
Well @belocin and @SDSwenson at least I am not alone in this, that makes me feel a bit better. DH thinks I am a little crazy (he's probably right considering the meltdown I had this morning), but I suppose I probably should just enjoy the "feeling alright" stage and not torture myself with overthinking it.
