Alright naming gurus, I'm bored and nowhere near getting pregnant again but I'm curious as to which names you like so please name my hypothetical second child. My son's name is Philip. I never really got to brainstorm girl names so I'll focus on those:

Lena (H dislikes it as a full name so any longer name suggestions are welcome)

Lenora (nn Lena)

Holly (rhymes with my first name - too weird?)

Alice

Clara

Maren - doubt I could sell my husband on this one

Possible MNs: Jean, Jane, Mae

Alice and Clara are my favorite. Maren is nice.

Lena is just not my style but I don't hate it. 

I like Holly but would avoid any rhyming in a family I can't get my our families names straight and they could not be different.

Alice- Audra, Adele, Ada, Edith, Helen, Florence
Lena- Livia, Linnea
Clara- Celeste, Corinna, Celia

I love Mae as a MN option. The only other Mae I have met is my niece. (Serenity Mae, NN Rennie)

Elena, Eleanor (maybe a stretch), Selena, Helena you could use Lena with.

I love Lenora. Alice goes really well with Philip. Not a huge fan of Clara, I prefer Claire. Holly is cute. But since it rhymes with your name, I'd avoid it. Maren is just okay. I like Mara, Wren, and Margot.

and I love Jane in the middle name spot. So classic.

Love Holly Jane! Lenora is good too... but I think holly takes the cake.

Alice is lovely, my favorite of your list & goes well with Philip.

Thanks all! I've loved the name Lena forever so I was hoping Lenora would get more love. Linnea might work too for a longer version. Hadn't thought of that. Lots of good suggestions here. I guess I might have to ditch Holly. Darn! Alice is becoming a top contender now too. Thanks for giving me more to think about.
