Burping

Does anyone else's baby burp for hours after eating? My DD has me so confused with this.

She will burp multiple times during and right after a feeding. But then sometimes an hour or 2 later she'll burp again but not without a lot of effort on my part (bouncing/patting, etc.) ... she screams until the burp comes out. She seems to go through phases where it's worse than others.

We're feeding pumped breastmilk with Dr. Brown's bottles since she was a week old. I've tried faster and slower nipples. Could it be something I'm eating? Should I try a different bottle? Any thoughts? I'm getting desperate.

Is she using a pacifier? The gas could be from the sucking on the pacifier as well, or maybe even from sucking her fingers.  Just throwing it out there.  Sometimes my little guy lets out a burp if he's been sucking on the pacifier.

Oh I didn't even think about that. Yes, she does both.

Our guy always seemed to have a burp stuck in there. I think I've just gotten into the habit of always patting his back whenever I'm holding him.
