@MrsBakes If you're worried I'd go ahead and call. Worst case scenario they tell you it's normal and don't worry about it. When I had bad lower back pain 1-2 weeks ago I used one of those warm rice bags (not too hot) and it seemed to help. I also used my foam roller from running and that helped the muscles to relax a bit. I hope you find relief soon!
I am so hungry, all the time. I will be starving right after eating a big meal, I mean I could eat all day and night and still feel hungry. I think it is my form of nausea. Also, I wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep. I am not overly tired yet but I know that is coming soon.
@kockatoo If you are an Advil/Ibuprofen user you have to switch to Tylenol Had lots of headaches with my first but the good news is it is a first trimester issue only.
Nausea officially started. Could barely eat all day. I know this is normal but it's making me sob already and I just don't know how I'm going to get through being pregnant again, especially now that I have a toddler. Probably hormones but holy crap I'm having a rough one.
@akslevin everything that my coworkers did yesterday bothered me. Even when they helped me I wanted to roll my eyes and kick them. Totally irrational haha
I'm really irritable, too. I'm beyond tired not only from this pregnancy but also because my DD just won't sleep. So all of that leads to me being a grumpy bear all the time!
Also, my DD told me yesterday, "Mama, you look like you have a baby in your belly" Well crap! I'm not even 7 weeks for crying out loud! So I think we'll be announcing this pretty soon!
So irritable. We are living with SIL and 8 month old nephew. He is a baby. An innocent little baby, who I love. But, being totally honest. No matter how much you love someone else's baby, they will never be like your own. I am fine with DD. But my nephew is getting on every single nerve. Every time he cries I just have to leave the room before I say something horrible. I am seriously just the worst person ever. All I can think is how he is such a spoiled, awful baby. I really need to work on this before the earth opens up and I go straight to Hell. SIL is obviously not me and parents a little different than I do. Not to mention she is a single mom, and I am not. So, all of her "poor" parenting skills are driving me up the wall. Mind you, nothing major. Just little things. I literally have to leave the room and hide. It is bad.

@mrsstuessy - Asking out of curiosity (and bc I try to learn from other people's mistakes AND I don't want to raise a spoiled baby)...what sort of parenting skills are you referring to?
@akslevin honestly, it is really me not her. And for the record, I don't really think you can have a spoiled baby. You can have a baby who is used to affection and attention. Spoiled is a bad word to use on a little baby who just wants love. She feeds her baby different than I feed mine. Not wrong really, just different and I think my way is easier. She has different sleeping habits for him than I had for my baby. She freaks out over him crying in the car and I pretty much just ignore it and let him cry since there is nothing I can do anyway. Just little stuff like that that irritates the crazy pregnant lady.

None yet. My last pregnancy I think i started at around 7 weeks. The nausea was mostly in the evenings. Hoping this time around it is the same, this way no one notices at work.
Well, nausea has officially arrived for me at 5w5d. Also annoying, I'm hungry pretty much all the time even with the nausea, which I really don't understand and don't like.
Ugh, nausea arrived here at 6+4. Last time it hit like a brick at 5 weeks so I thought I might have gotten an easier pregnancy but still cautiously optimistic it won't be as bad! Or at least not last as long, it stinks when 1st tri symptoms stick around into the 2nd!
Anyone else feeling gross AFTER you eat? This didn't happen last time...wtf. Also, my boobs are super warm to the touch...I'm guessing from all he extra blood flow?
All of the sudden my symptoms feel gone. My boobs aren't sore anymore and I don't feel nauseous. I've had back pain, which I know can be normal, but read it could be a sign of mc. I'm trying to decide if I'm just crazy or if I should call my doctor.
@cookies754 Sometimes my symptoms come and go. But it can't hurt to call your doc and see if they will see you. I hope everything thing is okay.
Thanks, @bwo. I tried calling my doctor and they didn't answer. Didn't even go to a voicemail so I am a little peeved about that. I guess I'll just take it easy today and hope for the best.
@cookies754, symptoms totally come and go. Today I'm in the same boat as you, and it's a total mind f--k. I get it. Hope you get some reassurance (that doesn't involve barfing) soon.

Thanks, @clickclackmoo. I just woke up from a 3 1/2 nap so I'm hoping that's a good sign that this little one is still stealing all my energy.
TW So started progesterone yesterday since my level was 8. Betas were great. Now today pink spotting and mild cramps. I have had 2 previous losses so of course I'm preparing for the worst. Anyone else have this in response to taking oral progesterone...? Will wait to call OB monday since nothing can be done to stop a MC anyway if that's where I'm heading. Thanks in advance.
This is my fourth. This is also my first time with any symptoms...food aversions, nausea, intensive BMs, and exhaustion, I also am incredibly bloated...I'm starting to wonder if I'm carrying twins. Only time will tell
Rileypie Unfortunately I have never taken oral progesterone. I highly suggest in the future doing the vaginal suppositories. The oral pills delivery less concentrated progesterone than the suppositories. They're uncomfortable but very effective in my previous experiences. Either way, a supplement will not prevent a MC that would happen due to other reasons such as genetic issues.
@Neikoda my OB didn't give me the option, but will ask about the suppositories. I have an ultrasound appt tomorrow. They are concerned it's ectopic since I have been having pain and cramps since saturday. Im hoping its just gas! Thanks for the response.
@TheJerilu Me too. Also I startled myself awake this morning with a particularly loud one so I'm just going to go into my shame corner over here. Early pregnancy is not cute (but this baby is).
@SDSwenson and @Dannylion24 I answered in the new thread...I think...I don't know, mobile gets confusing. Everything looked fine for 6 weeks yesterday at my ultrasound except no fetal.pole so no heartbeat. Could be blighted ovum or could be totally normal and we will see the heartbeat next week. Follow up appt is weds. So now we wait. Thank you for the thoughts, it's nice being able to talk about it.
@Rileypie thank you! My appointment isn't until Wednesday but my symptoms are back in full force, so I'll take that as a good sign for now.
Question for those of you who have thrown up..once you do it, does it make you feel any better or provide you any relief? Or do you continue feeling nauseous? My stomach seems like it's close to going that way and am curious about what to expect.
@cookies754 I don't have the full blown morning sickness quite yet with this one. But, with DD I had horrible all day long nausea for about 4 weeks. I never really got to the point where I was just naturally throwing up. But, I would be sooooooooo close. Eventually I ended up making myself throw up a few times a week. I would feel so much better for a couple of hours and to me, it was totally worth it. It bothered DH. But, I am the kind of person, where if I have a horribly upset stomach I will make myself throw up and almost always feel better afterwards.

@cookies754 glad to hear symptoms are back! When I was pregnant with DD, I had terrible MS. Puking didn't help me, cause then I just kept puking. Best thing for me was to keep food in my stomach, but not too full. Wake up slowly. Look at the morning sickness thread, lots of good ideas. Good luck weds, that's my appt day too
Thanks @mrsstuessy and @Rileypie. Good to know. I feel like I might get to the point where I make myself throw up, but we'll see. Right now I just have that all day nausea. I laid on the couch all day today and have no shame.
