Lupron injections for IVF

Hello,

I'm going to go thru lupron treatment. If you used it could you tell me, with what side effects have you faced? Also could you tell me where do you buy(bought) ivf drugs? It's so expensive. A friend of mine advised me www.fertilitydrugsonline.com/. She told me that this company has Canadian prices but maybe you know something else.

Hi, my only issue with Lupron was the dull headache that lasted until I added stims in. Other than that no issues. Also I ordered my meds through freedom pharmacy, I had insurance but they said for all my meds without insurance it would be about 3k and going through insurance they bill them 5k bc they give you rebates and such when you pay oop

@Tiffany09876! Same as @ale9687  but now makes more sense why my headaches stopped.........stims! 

I also order from Freedom Fertility, and we were told 5k if we paid OOP, but with our insurance we paid 162 and some change

Ordered from Freedom as well. Their customer service is amazing. I went through insurance though, so no clue how much OOP.

I didn't have any side effects from Lupron. The only thing that knocks me on my ass is progesterone. I am all sorts of crazy on that! GL!

I ordered through Walgreen's Specialty Pharmacy through insurance.  They too have great customer service.  I was so nervous when I began my first day of injections, I had to call them because I thought I totally messed up the mixing of my Menopur.  I thought for sure I was going to do everything wrong and somehow kill myself or completely ruin everything for my eggs haha.  One of their reps kindly talked me off the ledge on a Friday evening and talked me through preparing and administering my injection.  My copay was about $50.  I only used Leuprolide Acetate as a one time dose as one of my trigger shots for IVF, so I can't really say for sure that I had any side effects... Other than what I was already feeling from the other stim meds (mostly just bloated by that point).
