I still co-sleep with my 3 year old and 18 month old... And I love it. It's the best (for our family, for now).
I nurse my 18 month old and don't plan on stopping- unless he stops or it gets super uncomfortable (I'm not a nursing martyr either). Also I think that formula is a wonderful invention- go formula feeding moms! Feed the babies.
I also thought being a 3rd time mom would be less exciting because you know, been there, done that... Twice. But it's actually more fun. Mostly because I care WAY less about everyone's opinions on my parenting or pregnancy. I wish I was more like this from the get go.
I totally agree about being a 3rd time mom. The first time I got pregnant was ridiculous. I tried to follow every rule and then some. I even changed my entire beauty regimen to more natural products. Absolutely absurd.
Of course I still worry about losing the baby or the health of the baby outside of my control, but it's so much more fun just living my life while I happen to be pregnant rather than trying to structure my entire life around it.
And the ironic thing about all of it is that my first pregnancy (the one I obsessed over) was when I got pre-eclampsia/HELLP and had to deliver at 29 weeks.
