August 2016 Moms

#imtoopregnantforthat

I'm 36 weeks preggo and so happy to be this far along but lately life has me wanting to say "I'm too pregnant for that!!" Of course I wouldn't but I need to vent somewhere.
I'm too pregnant for: extended family drama, ac that's set at 77, and the dude at work who expected me to fix his broken light (I'm not Maintence!)
So fellow moms to be what are you "too pregnant!" For?

  • Ugh, I'm too pregnant for the sudden reappearance of my migraines (with only 2 weeks left) and also too pregnant for sudden allergies. I've NEVER had allergies before this pregnancy and all of a sudden my eyes are swollen and watering and my nose is stuffy. I'm living on Benadryl and extra strength tylenol right now. I'd kill for some real migraine medicine.
  • Too pregnant for my long thick hair with this heat and humidity. I have been tossing it all up in a messy pony tail.

@midwestbaby I agree about the sleep and socks too. Lately I resulted strictly to flip flops that I can just slide on without having to do much bending over.
  • I am too pregnant for my petty Betty inlaws.

I am too pregnant to be outside in this heat longer than to walk from the door the car and vice versa.

I am too pregnant to have to pick up DDs toys 10000 times a day. I could go on and on.

I'm too pregnant for any social obligations whatsoever. My best friend is getting married over the weekend. After that, I'm officially becoming a recluse.

Also ditto and amen to all aforementioned posts.
  • @cm716 same here, social obligations unless it's getting things set up for baby and being with husband, then i'm not interested in it haha.

In august I have 2 bachelorette's to help plan and a bridal shower...all within days of my due date...I'm not going obviously but still annoyed haha

also 2 weddings PP with baby not being even a month old aaaaaa #imtopregnantforthis
  • I'm too pregnant to have a to do list as long as I do. I did it to myself, but still...

Everything just takes me so much longer. I have really noticed myself slow down during this last week. The microwave went off the other day and I thought to myself "Why in the hell is it taking me so long to get to the kitchen?!?"

I'm too pregnant for it to be over 110*
@sparklypink17girl I'll trade you to set my ac as low as 77.  Lol
  • I'm to pregnant to do anything anymore, my cousin called me yesterday to go to movies and I was like NO it is too late and I'm pregnant then he says lazy i went off and told him you are not pregnant about to pop so then he said lets go out to eat and I told him if he picked me up to go out to eat with him and his fiance I would go if not I was staying home and rest.
  • Too pregnant to carry DD around or bend over her bedrail to kiss her goodnight :(

  • Way too pregnant to lift my 30lb DD off of the floor where she likes to fall asleep into her bunk bed without waking her.

  • I'm too pregnant to have a sprained ankle and too pregnant for DS telling me he wants me to carry him, and his toys, upstairs.

I'm too pregnant to mow the lawn.

I'm too pregnant to get laundry out of the bottom of my washing machine.
My MIL just gifted us a front load washer with a stand that goes underneath. It is so much better! I am only 5'2" so it was already hard for me before being pregnant.

I second, third, and fourth bending over for anything! If I drop something at work (and don't need it immediately) I leave it there until I have to. At home, I usually ask someone to pick up whatever I dropped. Also, I am too pregnant to fight with our 15 month old when she doesn't want her diaper changed or to get dressed.
  • @Allisun85 So much yes to the end of conversations while standing. I'm constantly scoping out a room looking for places to sit.

  • I'm too pregnant for the tornado watch we are under.. with DH out of town for work, I have no idea how I'm going to get my very old, very blind, 70lb lab down the basement stairs. I refuse to move him until I absolutely have to, because there is no way I'll be able to get him back up.
  • Just hearing all the things we're all too pregnant for makes me feel so much better, never alone!  hopefully we won't b too pregnant for life for much longer
  • I fear I am too pregnant to go to Comicon, which makes me sad because this is the first year we actually got tickets. I am 38+6 and so danged  tired.
  • I'm too pregnant for the heat. Everyday after work I get home and immediately change into a sports bra and workout shorts. I proceed to walk around my house like this until bedtime. Our house is full of windows and I don't give two shits who sees me when they are outside. DH thinks it's funny. I'm also too pregnant for DH's work trip next week, more home renovations, and working full days. Bleh.

I'm always too pregnant to mow the lawn. #YouGoGirl
I literally just typed you go girl to @Lynnlove28 in the randoms thread! Ha! I am also always too pregnant to mow the lawn. In my defense I had two brothers growing up who did the mowing, I'm allergic to grass, and DH who put our lawn in from scratch last year is the only one who likes to mow it.

  • I'm too pregnant to get clothes out of the bottom drawer. I'll be wearing the same pair of jammies every night until I go into labor.
  • I'm too pregnant to do the dishes. Not that I enjoy it not pregnant but it's a big corner sink and with belly I have to stand sideways or hunch over awkwardly to hold something under the faucet to scrub it.
  • @Stephanie7693 I know what you mean. I took the clean laundry into our bathroom last night and was confused about what I was doing and why I was there.
