Finding a name that my husband approves of...

I never thought that my husband would have such an opinion with names. We found a name we agreed on for our first child, Xander. So now with number two on the way we'd like to find something that "goes" with Xander. We have a boys name picked but if it's a girl we're clueless. The only name he's ever told me that he likes is Leah (which I strongly dislike. Too common for me). The only "L" name that I'm partial to is Lyla (but Elizabeth is a family middle name so I'm not sure that I like Lyla Elizabeth).

Husbands favorite: Leah
My favorites: Brielle, Noelle, Vienna

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you ask your husband to come up with a list of 10 names to consider? If you don't like Leah at all, it should be off the table.

FWIW though,  once you add up all the variant spellings of Lyla, it becomes just as common as Leah.

What about Lydia? Sort of combines Leah and Lyla. Also suggest Alaina/Elena, Mila, Lena, Emme.

The boys name is Vince. Thank you for the suggestions. I do like Danica and Mila. I love Lydia but I have a friend who's daughter is Lydia so I can't steal it unfortunately.
