Was there a theme? Neverland. Peter Pan - Classic not Disney. It's my nursery theme so it was so great, I will be able to use many of the shower decorations in the nursery.
Did it go as you expected/wanted? Share. It was small and intimate, my closest friends and family came and it was wonderful.
What was your favorite part? Or least favorite part if applicable. The decorations were amazing and the food was fantastic.

I LOVE my dress from Pink Blush! This is the one I got for my shower and it fits great with extra room. Nice and flowy. My shower isn't for another month and I'm sure I'll be bigger by then. Best of luck and I love that mint dress!

I hope it fits! Someone else said everything they got was too small. I only bought it because it was $18, I would have preferred to get something in a darker color to *maybe* hide the booty a bit. lol

Haha... I hear ya. I tried on this one print dress when I went shopping the other day and my friend and I got a huge laugh out of it bc I swear, with all the booty giggle, it hurt your eyes to look. So, this one may not be dark, but you've got the one plain color in your favor

I live about 6 hours from where I grew up, and still have some friends and family back home, so my mom and friends threw a little shower luncheon this weekend in upstate NY! I really just thought it would be 10 or so of us out to lunch, but they made it into a complete mini-shower, with centerpieces and decorations and cake! Such a nice afternoon - I was so touched! (FYI - LMNO are my and my husband's initials that so nicely make LMNO. ) We're having a larger co-ed shower at our house in NJ in August...still can't believe I got spoiled with another one before that!
P.S. Yes, that's a "baby coming out of a watermelon" cake (if you remember my love of the melon) - how my mother pulled that off, I'll never know!

Well...I bought the dresses when I was around 13 weeks (because I wound up getting almost 50% off) so they were pretty big on me then. I haven't tried them on since...so I may have made a rather expense decision. My bump is still relatively small so I'm hoping it'll fit better in another month when my bump is hopefully bigger.
Sorry - I'm no help. I'm inclined to say they run a little large though!

I would imagine going by your pre-pregnancy size unless you think your boobs grew a huge amount too. It was mostly baggy for me in the midsection part which is supposed to have more room to grow with your bump. I believe they have free returns within 30 days so maybe order the dress 2 weeks out so you have enough time to exchange for a different size if needed

I couldn't wait to find the gender for this October girl but if I am blessed with baby #2 or 3 I plan on not finding out gender so I can use " X or Y for Baby Z?" somewhere! (Last name starts with Z, and of course X or Y for female, male gender)

I just got my baby shower dress in the mail today and I don't like it. Ugh!! Ordered another one from pink blush, fingers crossed cuz I'm running out of time and hate going to stores.
Was totally surprised today at work!! My amazing coworkers threw me a shower and even had my DH in on this whole thing! It was so wonderful! Our little man got so spoiled! We are truly lucky! I work with great people!

We definitely do great parties for people here at work. Our boss's are very gracious when it comes to catering. And we all participate and chip in. We have a great department and love to celebrate! Still reeling it in, so overwhelmed with everything we got yesterday. Totally unexpected and wonderful. Very grateful @ibabyloveb87 & @mrszoess

My coworkers threw me a big baby shower when I was pregnant with DD, my exH and entire company somehow managed to actually keep it a secret until my lunch break one day, and there it was! I cried like a little baby, It was the sweetest, most thoughtful and unexpected thing that had ever happened to me.
Ugh. So we went to a viewing last night and it was for FI's side of the family. They ALL told me that none of them would make it because my FI's cousin is having her bridal shower that day. That is like 20 people off my guest list. I'm trying not to be a selfish brat about it, but I cried on the way home last night.
@AllyTheKid totally shocked and unexpected! I DEFINITELY cried. LOL And it's good to know my DH can keep a secret for over a month!
