My FFFC is that I ended up skipping the breastfeeding class in favor of going to eat fried chicken with BIL's family and then getting some couch time with my feet up. Thanks to everyone who gave input. I feel better knowing it wasn't essential. And also... That was damn good fried chicken. #noregrets
Count me me as another one that can't take lack of punctuation. And also there/their/they're and your/you're. And missing words. I don't really understand why coherency is difficult. What's the point in sharing your thoughts if no one can figure out what you're saying?
FFFC - I am usually a grammar nut... but I've caught myself in run on sentences, missing words and all kinds of fun stuff in the last couple weeks. I'm blaming the baby - he's got my brain.
I'm jumping on the grammar train. If it is several sentences long, not broken into paragraphs, and punctuation free, I don't read it.
@lynnlove28 I was too lazy too and DD does the same thing. She won't wear bows, barrettes, or headbands now. Her hair grows into a mullet shape naturally so it needs help. I wish I would have been more proactive about it when she was younger.
@JournoGrl23. I am right there with you. I am also close enough to my due date tgat the "hey, have you had that baby yet?" And "any signs of labor?" Texts have begun. Ugh, I promise I won't forget to tell you I had a baby.
My FFFC is that I am so looking forward to being postpartum so I can eat potatos again. I have been so good about following the GD diet, but oh! How I want a baked potato or some thick cut fries
FFFC- I couldn't handle any of my shoes or pretty sandles/ flip flops anymore. I bought Crocs (gasp!). But at least I bought the ones that look like flip flops with a big cushy sole and in beige to minimize attention to my feet... They are so, so comfy! It's like walking on a giant gel pad. They are all I wear now, I don't even try with my other shoes.
@ramoseecology I bought these. They are NOT CROCS. (okay, they are basically crocs, but damn it they are NOT!) Also - I can't get my feet into flip flops. Too puffed.
I'll jump on the not good sahm wagon. I'm good when the baby is little and now that DS is in school/camp a few days a week. But when I had to to housework, errands and not have my kid be bored all the time? I hated it.
My UO is women who judge others for working out throughout their pregnancy. I'm so tired of people telling me that I shouldn't be lifting weights, running or working out in general. Especially my coworkers who have no education in fitness. however, if I were to drink a Mt dew at my desk and eat a candy bar they wouldn't bat an eye. Quit telling me I'm harming my baby. My doc said to continue exercising so I am. And one more.... Everyone insists I must get an epidural. I want to have a natural delivery but not completely ruling it out if I feel like I need it. People that I hardly even know ask me about it and I tell them I want to try to go without it. They roll their eyes and say yeah right and good luck with that. Umm okay then why did you ask and why do you care? Now I want to fight the epidural just to prove a point haha.
@ShawnaLynn83 I'm with you 100%! I haven't been lifting weights or anything by my job as a nurse in strenuous (pushing stretchers, scooting people up in bed, moving chairs for family members etc.) People act like I'm handicapped and yellow at me all the time. Also, I want to have a natural delivery, but like you if I need an epidural I will, (I'm a FTM so don't know what to expect). People look at me like I'm crazy and say it's impossible. It's like umm you could just wish me luck instead of being negative!
Every person, and every labor is different. With my first, I was in so much pain, I simply could not fathom how people do this naturally. I wanted to peel off my skin and run away from my own body. With my second, I was med-free (well, I got the epidural, but it was too late and didn't kick in until he was already out, ha!). Granted, he was a small baby, but the dilating is the most painful part of labor and that's 10cm regardless of baby size. Most would agree that you feel some relief when pushing. Point being, there's no way I could have gone without the first time. The second time was painful but I did it. When people tell you it's impossible to go without, I imagine they had an experience that was more like my first!

The only shoes I've been comfortable in are crocs. I got the super cute ones that look like the chuck Taylor's.
