@Plainjanie she is so much more thorough. I'm actually really excited.. i left with an entire list of next steps that she provided so i have understanding of what i need to do before i make my next appointment with her. her office is much further away than the last RE but it is absolutely worth it if everything continues as well as the first appointment. she said she also wants to get my booster shots done and other work ups that normally happen when you first walk into an OBGYN pregnant, so it's all already done when hopefully i get a BFP.... i'm waiting until next cycle in august to start all this but i'm really calm and confident now

@mackenzie07 - so wonderful to hear such great news!
@jennh75b - Good luck talking with your husband. It was the most difficult conversation we had in our marriage, but we are so much stronger for it. I hope it goes well for you.
@hoffmanr7 - So glad your DH is so willing to get his SA done. Hoping your AF is quick and painless this month!
I am 2 days from AF expected arrival. The "porn star" boobs as DH calls them, showed up this morning, which usually are a precursor to AF, but no cramping yet, which is unusual for me. Writing it all off as the Chlomid making my whole body weird.
Funny TMI story from this month's cycle: We were camping with my family during our ovulation window, so DH and I snuck down to the (super posh) communal bathrooms to BD in one of the private showers in the middle of the night. We could hear another couple doing the same thing a few showers down (awkward!). At breakfast one morning my dad was like "I think this campground is going downhill. Did you know people have SEX in those showers at night sometimes?!" It was SO hard not to laugh!
An an extra hour in the day would force me to work out, although I would rather spend it sewing or reading!

@mackenzie07 Congratulations! Wishing you a sticky LO and a H&H9!
Nothing really to update for me. My doctor's appointment is on the 25th; so we will find out what plan of action is recommended then.
If I had to do the same thing every day for that one hour, I would probably pick reading. I used to love reading, but between work, pets, and volunteering at our local animal shelter, I have hardly have any time to myself to read and relax. Having an hour a day with a good book and a cup of hot tea would be delightful!
Well I started spotting yesterday and it got a little worse today. Called the nurse and she said to just keep doing what I'm doing till I go in Tuesday. She didn't sound terribly optimistic and neither am I at this point. It's so hard to not be down about it. DH is trying to stay positive and hopeful which for some reason makes me angrier because I feel like he refuses to see the truth. So frustrated with this entire process.

Officially on CD1 and we are supposed to be busy at work today ugh. Coffee and midol are coming with me to work so I don't make children cry like I did last cycle. (In my defense the kid was being an obnoxious brat because they wanted a toy that cost 600 tickets and only had 30) thank god I only work weekends in the summer. picking up a thermometer on the way into work. How does temping work I know I have to do it in the morning but do I have to do it while I'm still in bed? Or can I put it in the bathroom And do it after I pee before I take my vitamins? Or will that throw it off? And update on FI's attitude. He actually has asked his Brother and his best friend if they would donate sperm if his is wonky. I'm a little outraged that he did that without even taking to me about it. The only thing that we had said was if we did have to go the donor route we would want somebody close to his profile (6'4 blonde hair green eyes Austrian/Irish background maybe throw Jewish in if he wants to get really picky) because we didn't want to tell people that the baby wouldn't be biologically his. And he's running his mouth about it to his family. Urgh!
2. What is your diagnosis? PCOS and blockage in the tubes (that has been removed, now)
3. What is your current treatment plan? Wait One full cycle for surgery recovery then Chlomid treatment with ttc. Trying this for 3 months then back to dr. Waiting a month is terrible!
@Samanthaarielxo CD 1 is the worst of all the CDs.....especially when you have to go to work and be nice to people (I'm an ER nurse and CD1 often involves me taking care of women (who are also often abusing drugs) with "abdominal pain" who turn out to be pregnant.) it's never easy.
@Mrs.RedHead we are about to go on vacation with friends to a cabin during FW and I'm hoping we can be discrete. Can't imagine having to BD in the bathroom next to another couple! Eep!

@poemasque - the showers are little private rooms with locked doors and there was an empty shower between us, thank goodness! DH said quiet sex was "like practice for having kids in the house" LOL

@PoeMasque that's terrible. I work at a bowling alley and today it was birthday parties for toddlers and "do you wanna work a double Saturday and Sunday next week?" Should of stayed in bed
@samanthaarielxo omg thAts so embarrassing that your fi asked his brother to donate sperm without even asking. his heart is obviously in the right place but his head isn't! As for checking bbt, it's too long for me to type out on my phone but if you google "how to check bbt" and you will get tons of info. Most of us use fertility friend for charting.
