I am so sorry for your loss. Be easy on yourself, and take the pain meds they offer. If nothing else, that helped me relax and zine out some for a couple of days.
Married - 7/29/06 Ben and Maggie - 4/10/09 Mia - 6/16/11 Surprise! due 2/23/17
Had a similar experience today. Tech couldn't see a baby or HB. I do have 2 yolk sacs and 1 has a fetal pole. I thought I was 7 weeks, 5 days and measuring 6 weeks 3 days. Confused and want a straight answer. Good luck and prayers for you!
So very sorry. That sounds very similar to my experience. Personally, I held it together for a while at the time, but my emotions did catch up with me over the following couple of weeks. Be gentle and generous with yourself and take time to heal. The ladies over in TTCAL are wonderful if/when you are ready for that.
Thanks, everyone, for your comments and good thoughts. I think this quote is especially relevant for me now, since yesterday I was OK, but now it's starting to really hit me. My surgery is Tuesday, and it will probably hit me all over again then, too. I will check out TTCAL and look for further support there in the future.

My surgery was the Tuesday after the Thursday I found out as well. I tried to return to work 2 days after the surgery. I did it, but it was too soon. I wish I had taken the rest of the week off.
Wishing you peace, closure, hope, and a whole lot of resting in bed and binging on good TV or books.

Today I'm able to relate. I should be 7.5 weeks, but my ultrasound measured 6 weeks. I have regular periods and was ovulation testing as well. They couldn't determine if there was a heart beat. The doctor said the fetus was too small, so they could end up picking up my pulse instead. The doctor said it didn't look like a molar pregnancy, but they can't rule it out. There could also be a polyp. This is odd considering I underwent extensive fertility diagnostic tests over four months because we were struggling to get pregnant for over two years. This included several ultrasounds, bloodwork, and even a hysterialsalpingogram (cannot spell). There wasn't a single bad result. They drew blood to test my hcg levels. I go back on Monday for more bloodwork. Just praying at this point...
