@chicandbubbly was hoping the sickness had improved for you..sorry to hear about today.:-(
I (fx) have been soo lucky this far and have not had any sickness..only sore boobs which the last couple of days have seemed to improve. Pants in the tummy area are starting to get a lil snug though... Hope that u r feeling better soon and today was just a fluke..? ;-)

  • @kfras - I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking of getting a thank you card and a plant or a box of candy for the office to share. We did that for the nurses in the hospital when we had our 1st LO and they loved it. I thought the RE office would like it as well. I never know what the protocol is. And what if something happens and I have to head back to the office? I guess either way I'm truly grateful for what they have done this far. Keep me posted on what you decide to do.

  • @pdbird and @kfras I wanted to do something for my RE clinic as well. I think I am going to wait until baby is born and then send some sort of treat with a picture of baby and a note thanking them. I have no idea what people usually do.

  • Hey ladies. I haven't been confident about joining over here (still aren't, but I'm gonna do it anyway).

Oh the questions... Uhm... 3rd FET has gotten us a BFP.
EDD will depend on how many are cooking, but either late March or early April.
I have my first sonogram tomorrow morning, and I'm getting super excited (though I wish I wasn't as excited, thanks to PGaL brain).

  • Hey everyone! Just popping over here from from March 2017 BMB.

It seems like there's been a WAVE of losses over there recently, and it's making me so anxious. I've been thinking of taking a little break from the boards to save my sanity. Anyone else struggling to balance optimism with all the tough posts?
    END TW

Anyway, I'm 10 weeks today, nausea and whatnot starting to fade, hope everyone else is feeling good too!

  • I totally understand how you're feeling @UnicornsPlease! Though bad things happening to others posters doesn't mean bad things will happen to you, I can see taking a break for a little while until most people are past the 12 week mark. I won't join my board for a while yet (partly because I don't yet know which one to join) because I don't like seeing others experience losses.

  • Since beginning ivf it's been repeated over and over.. Spotting is normal. That still didn't stop me from having a mini panic attack in the bathroom today. I have not spotted once since the start, and had brown spotting today when I am 11 weeks 5 days. I am trying not to be nervous and it is brown, not bright red. No cramps or anything yet. I did have my first OB visit on Thursday and he did give me a pap so I am hoping the spotting is because of that.
  • Oh no @kfras! I'm sorry you've had some spotting. It's never easy wiping and seeing something that shouldn't be there. Luckily it's brown, which means it's old, so shouldn't be much to worry about.

  • @kfras I had bleeding last week at exactly 12 weeks. It was dark red, but terrifying! Everything was fine with baby, and thank god for a patient OB who let me come in for a fetal heart check!

  • It is likely from the pap! @kfras I had bleeding after a pap as well. I know it's impossible not to worry but it definitely is a normal thing.

  • @chicandbubbly Congratulations!!!!!

AFM we also found out last Friday that we too are having a BOY and testing came back low risk!!!!! Hubby super excited!!:-)
  • Congratulations @heidis1!! Yay for baby boy :)

Just an update on me! I've officially graduated from my RE at 9 weeks and looking great! So crazy and exciting. I'm also kinda sad since I LOVED my office!
  • @Sunflower5678 thank you!!!  Congrats on your graduation:-)   we were also sad to leave our re office they were soo nice! Looking forward to visiting w the lil one though!
  • Congrats to the ladies who found out they are having baby boys!! Were the results for genetic testing or did you have the ultrasound?
  • I did Maternity21 @kfras. My anatomy ultrasound isn't until the 28th but I do have a friend that found out the sex via ultrasound at like 15 weeks which seems early.

  • @kfras my sister did the blood test for both pregnancies but the tech also did give an educated guess (they aren't allowed to officially say) at the 12 week first trimester screening and the lady was correct both times. Baby 1 was a boy, she said it was very easy to see and baby 2 a girl.
  • @kfras thank u! :-) We did the Natera blood work screening to find out...Have an upcoming appt on the 13th but I don't think they are doing another u/s.
  • @kfras We did PGS testing.

  • Hi all had 16w visit today. Got to hear the heartbeat but no u/s today. Just a urine sample and another pap (3rd this year!) Hope everyone is doing and feeling well!:-)
  • Hi girls.. Long time no talk, so I just wanted to check in and see how everyone was doing! Officially 18 weeks today and our anatomy scan is on Friday! I am so excited to find out if this little peanut is a boy or girl. We did no PGS or blood tests to find out.

How is everyone feeling now that we are all in second trimester or close to it?
  • @kfras I hope your anatomy scan goes great!

AFM - I had a 13 week 3 day MFM appointment yesterday. We got to see the LOs, who were all doing well. One was behind and one was ahead, but my MFM wasn't worried about it, and said everyone looked great! DH gets to see them more than I do, but I got to see a quick overview, including some little arms, legs and fingers! I'll officially be in the second tri on Saturday, then on Sunday we're telling our parents about the three (we've been telling everyone just one took)! As for pregnancy symptoms, I'm feeling so much better these last two weeks. I've had almost no nausea (and when I do I know why and can prevent it), though I did start getting headaches, which isn't fun! Hopefully keeping well hydrated will continue to help.

I'm excited to see how everyone else is doing since I'm the tail end of July!

@AandDM2014 I still can't believe you're having 3!!!!! How did the parents react when u told them the news? I hope u are feeling well and the headaches have gotten better.

AFM 21 weeks now feeling lo move pretty often

  • @heidis1 I am 21 weeks too! Isn't it amazing feeling baby move?! I love it!

  • @heidis1 All of our parents were super excited! I think the main main reason they were excited is because having three means we're moving back to our hometown, which they've wanted since we left 7 years ago. And luckily it seems like the headaches have gone away. I've been pain free the last few days, which has been wonderful! Congrats on 21 weeks!

  • @AandDM2014 I bet all the parents are super happy you are moving back home!! And it's better for you too to have more babysitters close by! Congrats on three that is awesome!
  • Now that we are all about halfway, is anyone interested in a Facebook group to keep in touch?
  • Congrats to everyone!!!  Time sure is flying by! We finally closed on our new house so now I can start  looking at baby items.... Has anyone started buying furniture/clothes yet?
