Re: Weekly Appointments: 7/4

  • I had an appointment on the 1st where the OB told us she's 80% sure it's a girl. We have our anatomy scan on Friday and I'm looking forward to seeing the LO for 40 minutes and hoping we have a confirmation of sex and also (more importantly) that all goes well.

  • Midwife appointment this morning and now I'm feeling happy and relieved. Ultrasound shows babe is healthy and growing right on schedule. I'm a worrier when pregnant so it's a good day.
  • OB appointment tomorrow. Nothing special. Already had my AS and I probably won't have another US at this point(possibly a growth scan later but I'm not holding my breath). I will get my supplies for my GD test at this appointment to do at my next one.
  • I have my first appointment with the OB this week (I have been seeing my GP up until this point). I am really hoping I like her.
  • My anatomy scan is on Wednesday. I'm excited to see this LO again and happy that my DH finally gets to come to an appointment with me.
  • My a/s is this afternoon.  I'm so impatient to see baby, make sure everything is okay, and find out the sex!

I've got a regular OB apt. on Friday. Nothing special, just listening to the heartbeat, peeing in a cup and seeing how much weight I've gained (yay...).

**Edited** Just got back and everything is healthy and normal! I've gained 20 lbs so far which is "normal" but still a little heart wrenching to see the number on the scale. I know this is so silly but it's hard to see such a large number!

Just had our Anatomy Scan today. Baby is measuring right on track (week 21) and 15oz. Just learned about the breast pump program that Target offers and submitted a claim for one. Still team green!
  • I'm seeing the doc Friday just for a routine visit (will be 22w6d), but I will be asking to listen to LO's heart beat (I still don't feel consistent movement and as a FTM I'm not 100% sure what I'm feeling so I always ask).
  • @laeced what is this target breast pump program?
  • I had my 20 week appointment yesterday, which included the followup to the a/s. Happy to report it all went well!

  • A/S scan tomorrow!! Can't wait to see our little nugget again and to hopefully find out gender!!
  • I had my first appointment with the OB. I heard the baby's heartbeat again! I just love hearing it. It makes me feel better too because I haven't felt any kicks yet. Everything is looking good so far so my next visit with her is in 4 weeks. I also really likes the OB which is great.
  • Just got back from 21 week/post-a/s visit and all is well... saw the doctor for 4 minutes, but waited for her with a 2 year old for 35.  :/

  • Yesterday I had my first Perinatologist appointment, we discussed my medical history and medications. I was a bit nervous as I wanted to make sure my epilepsy meds are not affecting growth in any way. I was happy to learn the anatomy scan went well, sigh of relief. And I got to see my stubborn baby boy that refuses to cooperate at all my US appointments.

@BmcD2016 , It's the Target McKesson program. You'd get a free breast pump (Medela or Ameda) after going through their process. It was super simple! https://www.target.com/c/target-breast-pump-program-baby-ways-to-shop/-/N-4yqby
  • We had our a/s on Friday. It took an hour and a half because the machine shut off when she was almost done and then the pictures were saved but no longer under my name, so they had to do them again. Normally I'd be happy to see LO longer but the monitor was behind me so I could barely see anything anyway. Luckily all went well, the doc (who emailed me once she reviewed the scans as it was a tech who did the a/s) said all looked well and I am officially off pelvic rest! While the tech wouldn't tell me the sex (she was being really weird about it and only said she didn't see a penis), my doctor did say girl! I am so excited and am telling my family with a cake in a few hours (poorly decorated, but they'll get the point).
