My first date to my wedding was only 10 months. (We've been married six years now!)

Our cat is named Baileywick after the Disney cartoon. My then 3 year old was campaigning for the name fruit snack.

  • The first time I met and hung out with my hubby was New Years and we got married in October of the same year so 10 months for us too!!! I'm also a twin :)
  • I have an entire room devoted to sewing/crafting. When we bought our house 2 years ago that was a deal breaker, and we weren't planning on another baby. I was hoping, but thought it was a battle I'd lose. Anyway, I refused to give up that room for baby... so we turned our formal dining room into a bedroom lol (it was a bedroom when the house was built, so we just put it back :) )

My hubby and I had only been dating 9 months when he bought a townhouse for us and my daughter. We've been together almost 10 years now.
  • DH and I started dating when we were 14. We've been together over 15 years now and we just celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. This is our first 2 legged LO and we're beyond excited!

I absolutely hate shopping (especially for clothes AND especially during pregnancy), but I love to have new things. Can't I have one without the other?!?

  • I got married when I was 20. DH and I will be celebrating our 8th anniversary this month, but together 12 years.

I throw a ball and bowl left handed but do everything else right handed.
  • DH and I have a 12 year age gap. We started dating when I was 21 and he was 33, but he has always looked and acted younger. There are people that he works with that thought we were the same age or I was older!

Not only are our kids going to be the only grandchildren on both sides due to both of us being only children, but they will also be only great-grandchildren on my dads side since he is also an only child. (My moms side too, probably for quite a while as my only two cousins don't even really want kids). This is part of our reasoning behind having two kids close together. We didn't want DD to get too spoiled  ;)

  • I can talk in a Donald duck voice. My neighbor when I was a kid taught me how because I was so fascinated with how he did.

My oldest son will be 12 in December which will leave about a 11 1/2 year age gap between him and baby #4. My other 2 kids are 9 and 1 1/2.
  • DH and I have been married for 9 years now after a long distance relationship (me in states, him in Africa).

I love to garden but have not done any this summer since its been so hard to move with this pregnancy.
    Married - 4/7/07
    Son #1- 2/15/08
    Son #2- 8/18/10
    Baby 3 due 8/8/16
  • DH and I have been together for 5.5 years, married for 2 and this is only our second 4th of July together because he's either been working or deployed. Land of the free because of the brave.

I was born with red hair and green eyes then my hair changed to dark brown and so did my eyes.
  • @AliKay20 I am the same way when it comes to both artificial cherry or strawberry flavors. DH thinks they are nasty, but I literally cannot stand cherry cough drops so much that I end up buying the honey/lemon.

DH & I met when we were 15. We did not start dating until we were 19. Married after dating 7 years. Now baby! Back when we first met, if someone were to say we would fall in love & get married ten years later, I would say, "helllll no!" Ha! I'm glad I'm actually wrong on this one ;)

I love fresh sweet cherries but HATE anything cherry flavored!!! Just tastes like cold medicine...anything artificial cherry. Yuck!

I'm the same way with cherries. And I will
only by fresh cherries from one store in dallas because they get the best ones.

  • I grew up in Southeast Asia for 11 years.

I love to play tennis, but I get nervous meeting new people, so I never put myself out there to play or join a team.

msdidonato  I'm a teacher, so I have friends teaching at ISKL. Yeah, have absolutely loved our time living in Asia. Bangkok is an incredible city. KL is less so, but have a great group of friends here and it's a very easy place to live. Definitely will be very tough to move on in a few months. Where are you living now?

skelly1990 , where's your Mom from? Holiday season here at the moment so I'm enjoying my week off for Hari Raya!
  • @ccfc1984  North of Houston in a city called Conroe.  Where are yall moving to when you come back?'

  • When I hear another person chewing, it either makes me sick or makes me want to punch them.

ME TOO!!!!  And it's like throwing fuel if they chew with their mouth open.  I actually think this is a psychological disorder and has a real name....no joke.  It bothers me the worst with my dad, DH and my old BFF.  (I guess this is my first fact)

DH and I met at our holiday party in 2008 when we worked for the same company.

Ooooh, this, too, but I don't like it because I think it artificial cherry smells like porta-potty.

    Baby #2 due 8/11/2016

  • My DH he would be at the park right next to my parents house just chilling trying to get my attention and my dad would always rush me in the house so i would not talk to him this was over a decade ago, i thought it was funny and then a few years later got introduced by friends but we had totally forgot about eachother until we started making memories about where we lived and now we been together for 2 years but known each other 10yrs ago.

I love watching sports. Specially basketball and football my DH and I will sit there and watch and when our football teams play against eachother is funny because we get very competitive, always fun and I enjoy eating lots of food as he cooks when it is football sunday :)
  • My husband and I were married a year to the day of the day we met, so we only have one anniversary!

And a personal interesting fact -  I absolutely cannot stand cotton balls. I get goosebumps and shudder just thinking about them. Apparently it's a real phobia, and I'm not alone in it - weird! We were reading some book and it was "caring for your baby" and touted all the uses for cotton balls... So much nope. Not happening.

  • DH is 5 years younger than me. I was bar-tending and he came in with teammates and I shut him down all night, but finally gave in and we went on our first date the next day.

We got married in May and didn't tell anyone, just waited for it to be posted in the local paper (yes in ND we still do that).

@AliKay20 I LOVE cherries and have been bringing them to DS baseball games instead of sunflower seeds. I am the opposite with grapes though--hate the taste of actual grapes, but love pretty much everything grape flavored.
  • Allisun85 You could not get along with my DD lol.  She's OBSESSED with cotton balls.  I used them in the morning to put my Rx gel on my face, and she thinks I'm doing my makeup, so one day she asked for one.  Ever since we literally go through bags an bags of cotton balls because she always wants more and she knows where we keep them.  It's not a battle worth fighting, and she's not hurting anyone other than money spent on cotton balls lol.  She takes them and rubs them on her face - I think it's a comfort thing.  I used to do something similar with my hair once it was long enough to reach my cheeks.

@skichic626 I knoooow! Kids love them, I am in so much trouble.  My husband keeps threatening me with cotton ball projects he's going to do with little guy when he is old enough to give to mommy. Like those Santa's with cotton ball beards... Ugh. Its ridiculous, but I react to cotton balls the way a lot of people do with spiders, lol.

  • @Allisun85 Ok, that might actually be weirder than my butterfly phobia. ;)

  • @texasmama2014 uh oh, I love mint chocolate chip....what does that say about me???

    Baby #2 due 8/11/2016

  • I met DH on a blind date set up by a friend.  I wanted to go on one as part of a bucket list.  We married 14 months later.
I live in a camper with DH, and DD.  The new baby will be interesting!
I judge people based on their favorite flavor of ice cream.
Right now my favorite flavors are strawberry cheesecake or any time of sherbet (rainbow, orange, raspberry). What does that say about me! :)
  • DH and I met as 11 year olds. We were "boyfriend and girlfriend" from about 12-16ish. Once we started driving and hanging out more with other friends, we went our separate ways. We found each other again on facebook. We talked for a while then decided to go on a date and see where it lead. It was like time never passed. We picked up right where we left off and clicked immediately. We eloped 2 months later. We were going to have a big reception/party once we moved out of our apartment and it got nicer out (we married in the winter), but 9 months later I was pregnant with our dd.

I HATE the feeling of un-finished ceramic. I cannot hold it in my hands or touch it at all. It gives me the willies and makes me want to puke.
  • @SkiChic626 @Hannah0726  Both are acceptable.  Plain vanilla people are the worst. Mint chocolate chip is pretty classic, but refreshing.  Strawberry cheesecake is fun, and sherbert is a good refreshing treat without being as intense. :)
  • @texasmama2014 I must be the worst fun person ever lol. I love love love strawberry cheesecake ice cream, but sometimes nothing beats a good vanilla ice cream cone. My absolute favorite right now is Blue Goo Flavor Burst!
  • @jamiesc58  If the whole world of ice cream was in front of you, would you choose plain vanilla?
A psychotic guy I dated only ate plain vanilla. He was like super crazy, and rigid about everything.  He later met my sister and tried to date her too... Apparently he had a type.
