I haven't exercised in a few months and I hate that. I used to taken spin classes religiously and now feel like such a slacker. I know I gained weight, so now I'm trying to go on walks as much as I can and just keep is low-key. Also, I'm constantly tired and exercise is the last thing I want to do when I get home from work. I fall asleep around 8-9 pm these days.

@Drove2u We'll miss you on this board but so happy you are moving along!
@Tulips29 I work out in the morning otherwise I would NEVER get to the gym. I usually am in bed by 7 or 7:30pm. I bought a journal called "FITplan Pregnancy" by Gaiam (the yoga people.) It has some resistance band exercises, info about diet, and lets you journal each day what you ate. Then at each week marker, you have a little sum-up. I feel like it's helping me eat better and have goals for exercising.

At this point I am afraid to hit a bump while driving my car, nevertheless workout. I fear that it will make me miscarry- which I KNOW is ridiculous! If I am gonna miscarry, I just will. But I'm doing everything I can to prevent it. Tomorrow's doc appt will tell me more- then I plan on getting back to being more active, but will easy on the body excercise- walking, biking riding, swimming.

yelllow22 - I think you just have to gauge how your body feels. From what I've been told if you did it pre-pregnancy and your body is already used to it, then it's probably still ok. The big thing is just not overdoing and I think that's different for everyone. @ultratomato - it's wierd to say but I really liked that appointment. The ultrasound was really long so we got to get a really good look at the baby. She looked at all of his organs so we could see everything forming correctly etc.

I'm also neverous too. @Drove2u I will be starting week 12 tmrw I think so I will be joining you soon in the 2nd trimester soon. so we are trying to find a cute sign on etsy to post our announcement but it's so hard DH is not helping lol
@vssbrm , @Tulips29 I know exactly what you mean. In my head I always planned to be in very good shape when I got pregnant and then of course infertility showed up and changed every single plan I had lol (which I absolutely don't mind as long as I get a healthy baby after all), so now I almost feel like I'm at my worst in terms of fitness, but i'm just planning on doing the best I can from now on
@msirni0 Congrats and welcome to the board! Hope you get a great result on Friday!

@Griffin5413 That definitely makes sense, I think the IVF process has made me overly cautious about certain things. My first pregnancy ultrasound is next Wednesday so if it all looks ok i'll get back in track.

So my first OB appointment last night left me with mixed emotions. This doctor comes highly recommended, my friend delivered with him and had a great experiences and he's affiliated with a good hospital not far from me. BUT...I expected to have an ultrasound done during my appointment to see the baby. Unfortunately he doesn't do ultrasounds in his office. Now I have a referral for an ultrasound, a referral to a lab for bloodwork and a referral to another doctor (MFM = maternal fetal medicine). He told me I'll have to do only a few ultrasounds as insurances are very strict with how many they allow during a pregnancy. The good thing is that he spent almost 45 minutes with me answering all my questions and gave me a ton of helpful information. Gave me a packet of paperwork to read through which explain which ultrasounds I need and when, so I have to look through that tonight. I was just expecting for everything to be done at his office since I got so used to everything being done at the RE's clinic. Guess it's different with an OB. Not sure how to feel about all of this. He did say fetal doppler are safe to use, so I think I'll get one just so I can be re-assured all is ok until my next ultrasound at around 12 weeks.

went to the doctor today and unfortunately got some bad news. The baby stopped growing, the sac collapsed. She told me I will miscarry over the next few days were devastated. So now we mourn this loss and then try and move forward again. She had a game plan for me and I should be getting the surgery for endometriosis within the next few weeks and then start a round of IVF soon after.
Thabk you so much for all your thoughts and prayers!! I really appreciate it more than you know! Wishing you all he best of luck with your pregnancy and future little ones!

I hate complaining because it took so much to get here, but this is seriously miserable. Still a little constipated and gassy. And I require daily naps
QOTW: I started a registry at Target, mostly because this is our first child and we have no idea what we're doing. It takes a week to decide on one tiny thing because we do all of our research. I like that target has the option to "hide" your registry until it's complete.

@vssbrm Congratulations on your little boy! So sweet! And I'm glad to hear that my doctor isn't the only one who doesn't do u/s at the office. I already scheduled mine for the 19th, but it feels like it's sooo far away.
@NurseTMD85 praying your second little fighter latched on and is growing!

@colleen0516 I am so sorry to hear this. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
AFM- I am six weeks tomorrow and will be going to my first ultrasound next weds... can't wait! (In RE's office). Yesterday was the first day I really had symptoms, nausea and threw up once in the late evening.
I need to get back on a exercise regimen like a lot of you. I have been walking mostly, but I need to get back to my barre classes and I plan on doing yoga or pilates a few times a week. I just need to schedule time, I have been SOOOO tired and that makes me lazy when I get home from work.
Do any of you have a pregnancy book you have found particularly helpful? I am finding it overwhelming to keep up with all the stuff I have to avoid etc. I went on vacation and my sister asked if the sunscreen I was using was safe for pregnancy. I didn't even think of that! Sure enough many sunscreens have toxic chemicals.
Also, have any of you gotten a rash in early pregnancy?? It's not really bad or anything but it almost looks like bug bites. It is by my hips and under my arms lower then armpits, both sides. I am wondering if it could be a side effect of synthroid. I went on it because my thyroid was a tiny bit high. (2.76 and they like it 2.5 for pregnancy). I will be calling my dr. today, but I was freaking out when I saw this last night so if anyone has had a rash please ease my worries .

@vssbrm - yay for baby boy! chicandbubbly - I have a few books that I like. One was What to Eat When you are expecting. It goes through week by week things that you should eat for what your body needs that week. Plus the good old fashioned What to Expect is pretty extensive too. My OB gave me one that they like b/c it is written by OB's but I can't remember the name. @msirni0 - hope your appt goes well today!

high risk dr said that it is ok the babies look great and they did the scan of the neck and no indication of Down syndrome. I almost cried seeing the one baby waving his or her arm. We also decided against doing the test to figure out the sex because it is hard to determine sex for twins so we will wait till 16 weeks just happy that their ok! And the tech gave my mom her own pics she was so excited
Hi all!!! It's so awsome to see alot of familiar names!
I am just about 6 weeks and I have my 2nd us on the 6th. I'm anxious/nervous to hear the heart beat.
@Drove2u I feel your pain! My Re hasn't allowed me to go back to running. It's driving me nuts. I've gone on a few walks and did some low impact cardio at the gym. At home I've been doing some light weight lifting. I hope after this week they give me the ok to go back.

I feel like it's helping me eat better and have goals for exercising.

went to the doctor today and unfortunately got some bad news. The baby stopped growing, the sac collapsed. She told me I will miscarry over the next few days

@Tulips29 my dr does not have an us either. I'm not too upset by it since we have already had so many I don't want to have any more unless they are super necessary.
We we found out the sex of the baby yesterday, my mom and I were convinced it was a girl, we were wrong! We are having a boy!

@Tulips29 I think I'll be having 2 showers: one that my friends and family are hosting and one at work. I have a lot of people in my corner and they're excited
Next appointment: 7/5/16 @ 7w4d- we'll see if we can hear a heartbeat for baby #1 and if baby #2 grew
Symptoms: The nausea is real. I haven't found anything that works. I hate complaining because it took so much to get here, but this is seriously miserable. Still a little constipated and gassy. And I require daily naps
I started a registry at Target, mostly because this is our first child and we have no idea what we're doing. It takes a week to decide on one tiny thing because we do all of our research. I like that target has the option to "hide" your registry until it's complete.

@yelllow22 first sonogram is so great, even though the baby is just a little blob lol, but still. When is yours?
@vssbrm Congratulations on your little boy! So sweet! And I'm glad to hear that my doctor isn't the only one who doesn't do u/s at the office. I already scheduled mine for the 19th, but it feels like it's sooo far away.

I will be calling my dr. today, but I was freaking out when I saw this last night so if anyone has had a rash please ease my worries
chicandbubbly - I have a few books that I like.
