2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): CD 1 here. I am starting stims for my IVF egg retrieval tomorrow. So I'm sort of WTO? I hope you guys don't mind me still hanging around here even though I'm doing something different. Definitely let me know if it bothers you, here or PM if you would rather I post elsewhere.
3. Rants/raves: I actually convinced myself for about 24 hours that I was pregnant. I was away for the weekend and had no tests so I couldn't even stop my insanity. I had spotted for 3 days last week and then nothing for 2 days so obviously that meant I was pregnant. The of course, my cramping started last night and I was rudely awakened from my fantasy! The brain is a powerful thing.
Raves are that it's sunny and beautiful outside today and I have the day off to enjoy it.
4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer? I am looking forward to doing things I wouldn't be able to do if pregnant. Roof top bars, a summer ale, sitting on the beach and enjoying life.
@BornReady sorry for af. She's such a witch. It doesn't bother me that you are doing something different. I wish you luck with that process.
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): WTO cd6
3. Rants/raves: of course DH's boss wants to send him out of town the 20-21 and I'm set to ovulate on the 21. He's going to try to get the job pushed back. His boss always seems to send him out of town during my FW. I get so frustrated but DH reminds me that it's not like his boss knows when I'm fertile. I forgot not everyone is as involved as I am. Lol
4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer? Hopefully getting KU. Lol. But really I'm looking forward to summer BBQs and pool/beach days. I love the hot weather and I'm excited to wear shorts and flip flops on my time off! We are also planning a trip "up north" this summer and it will be nice to get away for a few days. (In Michigan we call the northern lower peninsula and the upper peninsula "up north." There are beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and rural areas to camp and stuff.)
Rant- the wait sucks. I just hate the unknown. Honestly, BFNs suck but, most of the time don't bother me. It is getting a positive that terrifies me. I know that's really backwards lol. And I hate not knowing one way or the other.
Rave- the humidity level went down some.
GTKY I really do not like summer. I'm cannot wait until fall and I start Christmas shopping next month!
@BornReady you are more than welcome to hang around here! @MooFish2364 I totally forgot you are from Michigan too. I love going up north- we went to Petoskey and Traverse City over Memorial Day weekend. We drove around M22 too and stopped in Frankfort, Glen arbor, Leland and Northport on the way to TC.
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): WTO- CD21. Finally got flashing smiley on my opk so time to HIO this week. Hopefully I O before I go to my parents this weekend.
3. Rants/raves: I feel like we will have good timing this month so trying to be positive.
4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer? Same as @MooFish2364, hoping to get KU! I have a lot of activities coming up this summer- a lot of parties, Tigers games, my friend's wedding and DH and I's anniversary in August. I love 4th of July and there are a lot of birthdays in July as well (DH, my mom and my step dad).
1. Hello, I've been remiss in my lurking and posting duties since being on vacation. I'm Renee, I have an unstoppable passion for food and I take pictures, for anyone new. On cycle four after a MM.
2. 5 glorious DPO. O'd in Winnipeg. Possibly missed the FW altogether, as we only managed -4 and late the night FF says ovulation occurred. I was using OPKs but never got a real positive, so it snuck up. It was a weird one with a lot of cramping and excruciating breast pain - normally I have no O signs. I feel a terrible mix of things - pressure because it seems everyone who had trouble conceiving will always do so on vacation and because it took us four cycles last pregnancy. And because of those things, I'm superstitiously convinced there's no chance.
3. I'm tired, you know? My aunt blindsided me with a visit from my mother, who I haven't had a conversation with in twelve years. My poor DH started to dissociate right there at the kitchen table from the tension. Otherwise the trip was fine, I know a lot of really lovely people you just have to wonder why they're stuck in a crappy place like Winnipeg. DH absolutely HATED the city, but it was so nice to introduce to him these characters that are only from my stories!
Rave: Seem to have bypassed the possibility of a longer depressive episode. Feeling a lot more ready to take on life. We got a BBQ. I've never had a real sized one before and it's probably my favourite way to make food, so we're pretty set until it's too cold to grill.
4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer? I just found out there's a Craft Beer Passport for the city, so I'm taking up day drinking. My best friend (he moved from his hometown of Montreal with us when we left - we're real close) is taking the summer off so that's really something I'm looking forward to. He works at a bank now in a super stressful job, but is almost done as he's going back to school for his masters in the fall. We've also decided to move forward with a plan to make my website completely bilingual, so I'm looking forward to that.
I'm not a fan of the heat, being a redhead we don't get along so well, but the garden has really helped with that. I'm also trying a new strategy of not complaining about it to see if an attitude adjustment will have an effect on my enjoyment. Also, bbq every night and fresh garden food. I made my first recipe using our homegrown stuff - a chervil pesto and it was especially delicious.
@BornReady Oh, please stay. I'd be gutted not to continue this journey with you, even if our paths are different.
@iceandsnowflakes29 I definitely spend the whole summer looking forward to autumn - which means I also get excited and start prepping for Thanksgiving (it's in October here) and Christmas in August.
@Spartanrd4 Have fun! Hope you get that our of the way before your visit to your parent's house.

@BornReady I was kind of in the same boat this weekend. Although I had a negative beta on Friday, AF did not show up till this morning. All weekend I was convincing myself that maybe I was a late implanter and we tested too early- like you said the mind is a powerful thing.
1. CD 1- mixed emotions about it. Glad I can start a new cycle but bummed AF is even here
2. Rant: I am trying to move to injectable medication cycles with IUI instead of oral meds but apparently- I have a few hoops to jump through with the clinic so I don't think it will happen this cycle. Rave: the weather is gorgeous this morning and I love sunny weather
3. GTKY: I'm looking forward to getting outdoors more and taking advantage of the beautiful weather this summer. I was hoping to be KU by my birthday in July but I'm not sure if that will happen but FX we get lucky this cycle. Also we are going to Glacier National Park in MT first week of August so I'm definitely looking forward to that.

3. Rants/raves: OK so I have no idea what is up with this cycle nor my body at this point. I take my temperature as soon as I wake up (although not at consistent times due to my erratic work schedule), and it's never been a problem for me. Standardly I have temperatures between 97.0 and 97.5 during the follicular phase until I ovulate. Then I have an obvious jump to at least 98.0 degrees, and usually more around 98.2. This cycle, even FF has dotted crosshairs and a seemingly giant question mark. My temperature was similar during follicular phase, and has gotten higher, but has not hit above 98. I have no idea what's up with this. And of course, this morning, it was above 98, but I dropped the thermometer on the floor as I reached for it, and had to climb under the bed to get it and that made me upset, so now I've no idea what's going on at all. So, I guess I'll just wait this one out. So frustrated.

@reneeannemm I’m glad your trip was pretty good! Sorry about being blindsided. I hope your weeks can continue to get better
and you can find things to relax you! Yay about the BBQ! Also, garden is looking pretty good! Finally got the chicken coop done, so garden has taken a back step and a few things aren't planted like I"d hoped they'd be. I had some beetles in the garden, so am letting the chickens roam to eat, which has been fairly successful so far! The tomatoes are getting bigger, and a few flowers have appeared. My potato plants have taken off like crazy! The pumpkins and corn have gotten bigger. Successful so far! Also, super excited about the number berries that seem to have appeared on my raspberries and black raspberry plants. I'll have to try to take some pictures... maybe this weekend? How's yours doing?
Edit: I apparently don't know the difference between tomatoes and potatoes, so typed tomatoes twice. *sigh*

@BornReady I'm ready to cheer on your IVF and send you good vibes! You were always very kind and supportive to me on the miscarriage board. I'm very grateful for the support you gave me at that time! I don't know much about IVF but, I have some friends (and family ) that have beautiful children as a result of IVF.
May the lines be ever in your favor!
okay, ^ that was cheesy. I've had 2 cups of coffee this morning.
@BornReady I forgot to add- please feel free to stay on this board. I find the vibe on this board is friendlier than the infertility/IVF boards- so please stay.

@BornReady Definitely not bothered by you doing something different. I hope the process goes well
@MooFish2364 lol at your KU comment! I thought the exact same thing!
@iceandsnowflakes29 Every year I say I'm going to start shopping for Christmas early and every year I don't, props to you for actually doing it!
@Spartanrd4 Good luck! FX you O before visiting the parents.
@reneeannemm sorry to hear about the sneak attack visit with your mom! I'm glad the rest of your trip went well. You're not out until you're out. The cycle we conceived I actually waited to test until AF was 2 full days late because I was convinced it was not possible for us to have conceived (DH returned home from work at what I thought was too long past my + OPK). My fingers are still crossed for you!
@roxgibbons I hope the hoop jumping is smooth as hoop jumping can be and you get to start injectibles this cycle
As for me:
2. CD 5
3. Rant: My cycles are starting to get weird again and it's very unappreciated. My bleeding this cycle lasted a whopping 2.5 days. I'm also very nervous about my upcoming gyno appointment. Im going alone because DH is working and I'm so worried they won't take me seriously because of my age (25, I'll be 26 at the end of summer). However, I also know that I'm great at being assertive and worst case scenario I'll ask for a referral to someone else if I'm not taken seriously.
Rave: My first appointment with the gyno is Wednesday! How's that for timing with regards to my cycles being wacky! So looking forward to the next steps.
4. GTKY: Lots of camping and hiking! I love the outdoors and love that we don't have to drive to far out of town to lose cell service. Disconnecting from technology and reconnecting to nature is so good for my soul (and my sanity)
@roper2617 Here's hoping your appointment goes well. Are you travelling to see the gyno or is it in your town? Having only ever experienced medical care in Manitoba and Quebec before, my mind has been continuously blown at the compassion and efficiency demonstrated here in Toronto.

2. WTO CD 13. Starting OPKs this week so that's exciting!
3. Rant- I have longish cycles around 33 days so WTO takes forever and I feel like I am wishing the days away. Rave- Even though it has been so hot our garden looks amazing!
4. Like others have said hopefully KU by the end of summer. We took our vacation at the end of February, but we do have some weekend trips planned.
@iceandsnowflakes29 No way would I ever do it at my parents house. DH has tried and I refuse. Not only is it awkward but the guest bed is very squeaky so we would have to do it on the floor if we did.
My mom caught me and my bf at the time the day before I went away to college and I have been scarred for life every since lol!
@reneeannemm I will be travelling. My town is too small for a gyno I guess. It's a 2 hour drive from where I live. It's not too bad though, my town doesn't have any decent shopping so we frequently make trips to this city anyway. What will really suck is if we need a referral to an RE. I believe the closest is in Toronto and that's a solid 7/8 hour drive from us. Health care in the north sucks in that regard!
@reneeannemm Welcome back! We missed you. Umm, wtf with the ambush Mom meet up. I can only imagine what that would have been like. Your DH (and you) must have been in shock.
Thanks for the love ladies and the welcome to stick around!
@allysondunn2 hooray for opks! I think I might order some for September because, you know, POAS is fun lol!
I *think* I finally O'd because I got a high temp this morning. CD19. I say 'finally' because my symptoms this cycle are vicious! My breasts could not be more sore and I'm so cranky I feel mean and feel bad for DH lol So at least with O over, only 2 more weeks of this hell? Hopefully at least my mood will lift before then, if nothing else!
R/R: Can I just say that renos are hard on a relationship? It was a rough weekend. That said, this week will be spent packing and Saturday is slotted as the big move. I'm nervous and trying not to get overwhelmed (seem to get overwhelmed more easily since mc) and focusing on how great it will be once we're all moved in
GTKY: I prefer autumn, too, BUT the new place is so close to the lake so I'm looking forward to relaxing there and even just in the yard, which is huge (and we're hopefully getting a pool!). Since I'm benched til September, I'm also sort of looking forward to it going by quickly lol
@BornReady please stay, and best of luck with your egg retrieval. It will be a fascinating journey to follow, I'm sure.
@MooFish2364 I hear Michigan is absolutely gorgeous in the summer. I hope to take a trip there someday.
@iceandsnowflakes29 I'm equally terrified of getting a BFP. It just increases the amount of "unknown" in this whole process. I feel like the road to a baby is nothing but baby steps (no pun intended). Baby steps to O. Baby steps to test. Baby steps to make it through the first 6 weeks, 12 weeks, etc. It's utterly draining.
@Spartanrd4 good luck this week! Reading your post, I'm having flashbacks of living with my parents as a teenager, having sex on my bedroom floor as quietly as possible. Not something I want to do ever again!
@reneeannemm yay for BBQs and day drinking! Your garden sounds like it will produce some amazing dishes this summer.
@roxgibbons that national park sounds amazing. I absolutely love being in nature during the summer.
@dpjennifer new puppy and chickens?! Your house sounds SO fun!
@roper2617 I'm hoping to spend more time outdoors this summer too. There are so many beautiful places to hike here in SoCal, but DH isn't a big fan. I'll have to drag him with me. Anytime I disconnect from technology, I feel like I mentally recharge.
As far as I go..
Status: CD 4. Getting ready for my first attempt since my MC.
Rant: The tragedies in Orlando are devastating, and I'm finding it difficult to focus on other things. My heart hurts for all those innocent people and their loved ones. Why is there such evil in the world?
Rave: I saw both my parents this weekend, and spent quality time with DH and our friends at a wedding yesterday. I'm very grateful that I have such wonderful people in my life, and that we're all in good health.
GTKY: Like so many of you, I'm hoping to get a BFP this summer. I'm currently helping plan my best friend's baby shower, which is in July, and I'm actually really looking forward to it. And DH and I are going to Vegas for our anniversary in August. We have a show booked, and will be eating at some great restaurants. It will be a nice getaway.
Gonna quick post on my lunch break at work. I'll wade back through what I have missed later
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): WTO on CD2. AF has been pretty much how she usually goes.
3. Rants/raves: So pumped my team won the Stanley Cup Final! Whoop! Not happy about AF but excited to give this cycle a really good shot. It's my last chance to get KU before my first EDD, which in the grand scheme of things means nothing, but psychologically would be wonderful for me. I've got VIP FF fired up for three months, Wondfos in the mail, and Preseed already at home.
4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer? I'm looking forward to grilling all the food, fire pits, continuing my running schedule, and enjoying our new patio that's going in later this month. I love to entertain so I'm thinking of having an outdoor party later this summer. Also thinking of taking a road trip later this summer but destination is up in the air. And of course, hopefully getting KU!
@allysondunn2 Sorry about the longish cycles. Mine average 32-37 days so I feel you
there! It feels like a hurry up and wait
type of thing. Wait to O. BD go time. Wait to find out. Start again.
@rainbowturtles Thank you!
Also hope you can calm down some and spend some time on your self. I’m in the same boat with hormones and cranky
beyond belief with DH.
@shae86 By “new puppy and chickens?! Your house sounds SO
fun!” you mean crazy and ridiculous but awesome… yes, yes it is! J The puppy is like 15 weeks old now. He’s growing like a weed and trying to get
into everything! The chickens have
passed their ‘ugly’ stage and are gorgeous at about 7 weeks old. I love them all!
@WishILivedInFlorida Good luck with the cycle… I hope you
get a BFP before your EDD arrives. It
may seem like a trivial thing, but it’s an emotional nightmare to pass
that.

@dpjennifer@allysodunn2@Spartanrd4 my natural cycles range from 32-34 days and it sucks! I've always been like that and it takes forever to O. My medicated cycles are so much shorter and I'm triggered for O now because of IUIs, but trust me I can totally relate to the pain of waiting for O to kick in.

1. Introduce yourself (if you're new): I'm not new, but it's my 6th month of TTCAL. I took a 3-day hiatus from the Bump visiting DH's family in Alabama. I come back here and SO much has happened - I almost feel like a newbie again. Ack!
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): WTO; CD 5. The nice thing about cycle counting is that it starts over as soon as AF hits. Thusly, the first week of waiting to O seems to fly by for me, since I have to wait for her to pass before I can think about fertility again. Anyone else feel that way? Could just be me...
3. Rants/raves: Raves - A nice vacation getting to know DH's paternal side of the family. Unfortunately, we conglomerated for a memorial service for his grandfather, but a lot of the time was also spent exploring Birmingham, eating good eats and drinking lots of wine. I figured I deserved enjoying the outings.
Not a rant - but, I got to hold our 6th month old second cousin. It was simultaneously pleasing and heart-wrenching. I actually didn't fall apart like I figured I would. However, my nose did slightly get out of joint when my SIL kept holding onto the baby and didn't seem to want to give him up at first, even with me fawning all over him and offering to take him. She is very aware of our loss and cried with my H over the phone when he first told her.
DH eventually whispered in her ear that I wanted to hold the baby, and she quickly turned to me and offered him up. In the end, I think she was just consumed herself with loving babies and didn't think about my need to hold one. She's really a very sweet and considerate person, and I shouldn't assume she's telepathic. It will be a long while before she and her H will have children (he's finishing grad school and she's quitting her job in 1 week), so I need to be a bigger person and realize she also has the yearning in her heart too.
4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer?
Getting KU'ed. But also bonfires, baseball games (Iowa Cub games, to be exact), Zoo brews - visiting the zoo after hours and drinking microbrews!, and outdoor music festivals! DH and I have never been to an amphitheater before and will be going to two different ones within one week in August!!
@BornReady I don't mind at all if you're doing something a bit different. Stay with us!
@iceandsnowflakes29 Every part of this process is a pain. The waiting, the unknown, and even the certain (BFP). It's a never-ending wave of anxiety that we are all purposely putting ourselves through for our rainbow. It's worth it, but as we all know, the journey's a rough one...
@MooFish2364 When I was young, we would take trips up to Indian Head (I grew up in WI), and it was gorgeous. I love Michigan and keep urging my husband to take me there. I think he's intimidated by the climate. PSH - I've taken him to Duluth, and he did just fine! He's from Charleston, SC, so he's a bit of a baby.
@Spartanrd4 Good luck with O! Hoping you get some good BD timing in.
@reneeannemm Sounds like you had quite the eventful vacation. Love that you get to have a grill. They're an amazing appliance! Now if only I had the motivation to grill on my own. DH loves grilling though so I let him have the limelight.
@roxgibbons Sorry about seeing the witch pop up. It'd be great for this cycle to be the one for you, so you get KU'ed by July.
@dpjennifer Your garden sounds lovely! I don't have one of my own, even though I have a nice, big backyard and plenty of sunlight... I'll live vicariously through yours and other fellow TTCALers for now! Maybe even pick up some tips.
@roper2617 Good luck on your gyno appointment! Keep us posted.
@rainbowturtles Yay for O! Hope your hormones calm down long enough for you to enjoy some lovey dovey action with DH. With the impending move and all that, you enjoy some relaxing WooHoo sessions!
@shae86 The tragedies in Orlando affected me as well. I just don't know how to respond to the world we live in sometimes. There's so much hatred, and it can be overwhelming. That said, the amount of love that pours forth towards the afflicted community can be equally overwhelming and helps remind me of all the good we fight for and is still prominent.
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): TWW, 9DPO. Trying to hold off testing until Friday. Part of me wants to wait till the weekend (fun Father's Day surprise) but the other part is like, do it early because if it's a bfn, then I won't ruin everyone's weekend. Temps are staying up so we'll see...
3. Rants/raves: Not much. I am back from vacation and tried to keep up with everyone while away. I did have my grandmas funeral last thursday and at lunch after our server said, "congrats on your blessing". Um, excuse me? I ordered an iced tea and so she assumed I was KU...?! I just smiled politely and didn't say anything, but wtf lady. DH was pissed. Luckily it happened before the rest of our family arrived because that would have been awkward.
4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer? We go up north to my parents lake house a lot. It's relaxing and one of my favorite things about this time of year. There is a big Cheeseburger festival up there in August which is usually pretty fun.
@BornReady it's amazing what the mind can convince us of!
@MooFish2364 I haven't been camping in forever, so jelly! Our friends usually flake and now most of little babies and don't want to go.
@reneeannemm ugh, being blindsided like that is horrible. I am so sorry your aunt did that to you.
@roxgibbons I want to be knocked up by my birthday in August! I know if it doesn't happen I will be ok, but I am starting to feel old (definitely am NOT old) and not being pregnant when it rolls around feels depressing.
@roper2617 girl, I hear you on those weird cycles. So annoying, right?! My last one was like 50+ days...ridiculous
@Aera11 I'm so sorry that encounter happened with the server. Not only that, but right after your grandma's funeral too, ugh. I'm not sure what I would have done in that instance (probably a painful smile too b/c it would have been too left field to conjure up a verbal response), but my H would have been equally pissed.
I will reply with responses to everyone in a separate box
2.) Waiting for the first AF after D&C. I was cramping last week, but that went away. I am assuming it will come sometime in the next 7 days or so. I haven't temped this cycle since we are benched until September.
3.) Rant: I am not going to lie, yesterday was hard with the mass shooting in Orlando. My parents live in Orlando and my mom worked as an ER nurse before she retired. She's heard some firsthand accounts from folks who work in the ERs where the victims were taken and it's very depressing. As part of my job, I provide analytical support to people trying to pass stronger gun laws (among other safety-type laws) in all 50 states. It's very depressing work to see mass shooting after mass shooting in this country and NOTHING ever changes. Sorry, I will get off my soapbox. I'm just so sick of it.
Rave:Our puppy is doing great! He's still having accidents and cries when we leave the room and he's in his crate, but otherwise all is good. He's currently knocked out after getting his shots at the vet. He got his rabies shot and so now he can finally play with other dogs!
GTKY I am not going to lie- the first thing I thought about when I found out that we were losing the 2nd pregnancy was "at least I can drink this summer". Going to Cubs games and neighborhood festivals are first on my list and spending a few weekends at my IL's place on Lake Michigan will be great too. I think we are going to try to get a waterpark this summer too- another thing that I couldn't do pregnant! I think technically that the Dr was only going to bench us 2 cycles, I added the 3rd to be off for our 1st anniversary and to take a vacation in August. My first pregnancy had an EDD of June. I would LOVE to have an EDD of June 2017. We will see how things go with the RE.
@BornReady I personally would love to hear the experience of IVF from a TTCAL poster because the IF intimidates me. Depending on my FSH/estradiol and AMH numbers, I could be joining you in September. I forget are you doing PGS too?
@dpjenniferI had a great birthday and hope you did too. I am sorry for your EDD. My first is 2 weeks from today and I dreading it greatly.
@MooFish2364 I grew up an hour from the UP on the Wisconsin side and outside of a trip to the casino in Watersmeet, I've never been to the UP. I keep bugging DH to do a trip that loops around Lake Michigan since we have my parent's place in Wisconsin and his parent's place in Michigan to stop at to break up the trip. Any areas that are really cool that we should check out?
@reneeannemm Sorry that your aunt sprung your mom on you. That was not cool.
@roper2617 Next time I start to complain that my RE's office 30 minutes away by freeway is too far and I would rather go to the one 15 minutes away, I will think about you at the 7-8 hours you need to drive to get to one. That just sucks. I am so sorry!
@Wishilivedinflorida I thought of you this morning when I heard the Penguins won the cup. DH was out last night and so he told me this morning, I was watching the Tony's last night.
@dubcompanion I didn't know you lived in Iowa. I've aways wanted to get up there to go to an Iowa Cubs game.
@spartanrd4 DH and I had to to BD in January while visiting my parents. I am somewhat happy that I didn't get a BFP that month because I figured my mom would have done the math and eventually figured it out.
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): TWW- I'm 6dpo. Holding off until Sunday to POAS. AF is due Saturday, so if nothing is happening by Sunday when I wake up, I bust out one of the FRER flat sticks- why not? It's Father's Day. It's practically a holiday. And I feel some cramping but I can't tell if it's pre-AF, implantation or the street tacos I had for lunch.
3. Rants/raves: This freaking cough is killing me. I think I cracked a rib. Finally went to to Doctor. I of course had a BSC moment and displayed "crazy eyes" while asking her if this horrible virus ruined my chance to get KU this cycle. She offered a beta and I said no. I am sure even if sperm has met egg, it's so early on it would result in a BFN.
4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer? Selling my house! It listed yesterday. So now we wait for people to come look and make us an offer. I am ready to move into a new house. Fresh start for us post-MC.
@Aera11 I am so sorry about that insensitive and uninvited comment from the waitress. I don't care if people "mean well" it's just not appropriate.
@MooFish2364 I hope DH can push his trip so you don't waste a cycle.
@dpjennifer My mom is a crazy chicken lady. She has 3 broods with 3 houses. Chickens are excellent tick control!
@Spartanrd4 Yuck to BDing at your parents. I hope your cycle works in your favor!
@BornReady I don't mind at all that you hang around here! @MooFish2364 i hope your husband can move his travel around a little bit. @reneeannemm i'm glad you're feeling a bit better. i can't believe your mom showed up like that! I love grilling too, i can't wait to hear about the delicious dishes you whip up. @roper2617 good luck with your gyno appt. @rainbowturtles i'm sure the renos can be difficult on a relationship but all that work will pay off in no time. good luck with the move. @Wishilivedinflorida your summer plans sound so fun!
status- wto CD 1. i'm actually pretty ok, it was only our first month trying again and my last period (2nd period post loss) was really light and short so I felt like I was forcing the issue and my body wasn't ready yet. So far, my cycle seems a bit more normal so maybe that will mean better luck this cycle. It also kind of feels good to start fresh.
rave- I had a really fun weekend and feel refreshed for the week.
gkty- this summer i'm looking forward to spending more time outdoors with my family and hopefully getting ku.

Thanks @dubcompanion and others! We really do need some relaxing together time once this is all over! And I am honestly excited for the fresh start and even a new bed!!! I'm annoyed with packing but trying to keep my eye on the prize
@rainbowturtles I hear you on renovations. My husband and I renovated our 200 year old house and I firmly believe it is one of the greater trials of our marriage. We also did it while commuting 3 hours total a day together. It was challenging times, but we love our house now!
@chloe97 Thanks for the love. Yes we are doing PGS. I figured I wasn't putting my body through all that and putting in some faulty embryos. Well worth the money/peace of mind for us. It does suck that it delays embryo transfer, but I'm trying to remind myself that a few weeks is not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things/my entire life. Our doctor also gave us much better odds of live delivery with PGS.
Woah I got behind on this quickly! Sorry for my lack of input and replies! I will post my update in a separate post.
@bornready you are always welcome here! It is part of the whole TTCAL journey! FX for you that everything goes smoothly! @moofish2364 I often forget not everyone is involved in out TTCAL journey too! I feel like since I am obsessing naturally everyone else should be too! Your summer trip sounds amazing! @iceandsnowflakes29 I am with you summer is not my favorite season, definitely a fall person here! @spartanrd4 FX that this is a good month for you! Hope O comes before you go to your parent this weekend! @reneeannemm glad you are feeling better! @roxgibbons CD1 can be hard, FX this is your cycle! @dpjennifer a puppy! What breed? Also your garden sounds amazing! We have only been able to so far successfully grow strawberries! @roper2617 hope everything goes well at your gyno appointment! @allysondunn2 that stinks about th elong cycles! Hoping the time passes quickly for you and FX of course! @rainbowturtles oh yea renos can be hard on a relationship! I cannot even begin to describe how DH and I get when we are doing something! @shea86 GL on your first cycle TTC after the MC! @wishilivedinflorida YES THE PENGUINS WON! Unfortunately I fell asleep for the last period but so happy we won! Also sounds like you are all set to go! FX for you! @dubcompanion I feel the same way about counting the days! @aera11 sorry about your grandma. Also how is ordering a ice tea mean you are KU??! I would of flipped out! @chloe97 I hope you really have the chance to enjoy this summer! @jdmrs I hope your cough goes away soon sounds annoying! FX for the testing on Father's Day too!

@chloe97 Yep, we live less than an hour away from Principal Park. We bought a Groupon with 10 Iowa Cub tickets for this season. We attend at least one game every year, so we're excited to see them at least several times this summer. It's not the same as a Wrigley Field experience, but it's still a Cubs team.
Also, thinking of you as your EDD comes up. Mine is in 10 days, and I've been urging my H to help me think of things we can do together that day. We actually are considering an Iowa Cubs game if they play in town that night.
@JDMRS Last time I had a really bad cough was the month I got KU'ed! TBH, I attributed the boost in fertility to having to take Mucinex. At the time I even joked that it'd help, because it's supposed to help aid in mucus - like, all bodily mucus. Mucus issues or not, FX that this is your month!
@brooklyngirl18 Glad you're able to start fresh. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't get KU'ed too soon after our loss. It was good to get back to feeling more like myself. That said, now would be a good time as any, o' body of mine... (6 months out for me)
@dubcompanion glad you got to hold your new second cousin (eventually lol) and got some cuddle time My therapist joked last week that I probably won't let anyone hold my baby or that I'll be like "okay that's long enough, give him/her back" lol I could see that being true for many of us lol
@Aera11 So annoyed for you that your server said that. Why would a stranger make such a comment???
@chloe97 Glad the puppy training is going okay! And I live in Canada but am also horrified by the shooting in Orlando and by seeing these things
@JDMRS Oh goodness, I hope your cough clears up soon, that sounds awful!! And good luck on selling your house; yay for fresh starts!
@brooklyngirl18 I kind of feel like AF can be a fresh start, too, and tend to relax for at least ten days of the 30ish day cycle lol
@BornReady Ohmygosh with the commuting, too?? I'm finding the 40min drive back and forth to be annoying enough, plus yesterday I got sent to Home Depot TWICE for extra supplies and it's an hour long round trip each time and he STILL couldn't fully finish the sink because he forgot something lol We have been through a lot together but this reno really makes me feel like once we get through this and get moved in we can get through anything lol
1. Introduce yourself (if you're new): Not new but recap since I am so bad at staying on top of posts! First pregnancy, MMC at 8 weeks found at 12 week appointment. Cytotec. NTNP May-June, actively trying in July.
2. Status (WTO, TWW, Benched, etc.): TWW - CD25, 11dpo
3. Rants/raves: Rant: Feel like it isn't going to be this cycle. Was SS all weekend (felt nauseous and had sore boobs) and then started to get some light cramping last night. Had a temp dip this morning, still well above CL though so who knows! Still having some light cramping today as well. Rave: Our 5 year wedding anniversary is this Saturday! Looking forward to celebrating with DH! If AF doesn't show I plan on testing on Thursday/Friday since we initially planned to go to the wineries on our anniversary.
4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer? Well like everyone else, hoping to get KU! We also have a lot of parties this summer, between engagements, weddings and babys we are pretty booked! If not KU I am hoping to enjoy some nice wine and craft beer all summer and just relaxing on the beach!

Re: TTCAL Check-in: Week of June 13
2. 5 glorious DPO.
@MooFish2364 I lurvvvve camping.

4. GTKY: What is something you are looking forward to this summer? I am looking forward to swimming and gardening and enjoying my new chickens and puppy!

@reneeannemm I’m glad your trip was pretty good! Sorry about being blindsided. I hope your weeks can continue to get better and you can find things to relax you!
*sigh*

@MooFish2364 I'm laughing at "it's not like his boss knows your FW" lol too funny. But love that DH is trying to get the trip pushed
@iceandsnowflakes29 I hope your wait goes by quickly!
@Spartanrd4 hooray for good timing!
@reneeannemm great to see you back and glad you're feeling more on the "up" a bit. Hope your timing worked out and that your TWW goes by swiftly!
@roxgibbons sorry for AF
@dpjennifer that sucks about your temps being messed up and then dropping thermometer! Hope it all works out.
@roper2617 GL at your gyno appointment!
Me: 29, DH: 34
Edit: Missing words and letters.
@allysondunn2 Sorry about the longish cycles. Mine average 32-37 days so I feel you there! It feels like a hurry up and wait type of thing. Wait to O. BD go time. Wait to find out. Start again.
@rainbowturtles Thank you! Also hope you can calm down some and spend some time on your self. I’m in the same boat with hormones and cranky beyond belief with DH.
@shae86 By “new puppy and chickens?! Your house sounds SO fun!” you mean crazy and ridiculous but awesome… yes, yes it is! J The puppy is like 15 weeks old now. He’s growing like a weed and trying to get into everything! The chickens have passed their ‘ugly’ stage and are gorgeous at about 7 weeks old. I love them all!
@WishILivedInFlorida Good luck with the cycle… I hope you get a BFP before your EDD arrives. It may seem like a trivial thing, but it’s an emotional nightmare to pass that.

ETF a sentence I didn't finish.

(6 months out for me)
@Wishilivedinflorida fx you get KU before your EDD!
@dubcompanion glad you got to hold your new second cousin (eventually lol) and got some cuddle time
@Aera11 So annoyed for you that your server said that.
Not new but recap since I am so bad at staying on top of posts! First pregnancy, MMC at 8 weeks found at 12 week appointment. Cytotec. NTNP May-June, actively trying in July.

3. Rants/raves:
Rant: Feel like it isn't going to be this cycle.
