    I failed the 3 hour. By quite a lot. Only my fasting test passed.

    I have to go to the diabetes education class on Tuesday. I guess I'll figure out where to go from there.

  • I passed my 1 hour.  I wasn't too worried about it.  I tend to be on the hypoglycemic side, so it would have taken a colossal change to turn me diabetic. 
  • So my number for the 1 hour test was 148. I think this means I failed? I see the midwife on Monday, so I'm guessing they'll just wait to actually tell me until then, but since I have the number, I'm trying to figure it out!

  • I passed mine (luckily, as I may have pre-e and don't need any other issues). I was dreading the test though because I've heard people (not on this board) complain so much about the drink. It was fine, didn't bother me at all. Just gave me the sugar shakes. 
  • @KristinUM12 - 148 is probably a fail like you are thinking.  I think the typical cut-offs for the 1 hour are 135 or 140 depending on the practice.

  • Just took my one hour. The orange drink was cold and actually wasn't that bad. I had an OB appointment after I drank the stuff and the lab ended up having to come in and draw blood during the appointment. As she was drawing my blood, I started getting warm and clammy so I had to lay down for a bit. Won't hear back with the results until next week.

  • Taking my 3 hour in the morning! I need to go to work after, I really hope I don't feel crappy.
  • @MrsVoorhees I'm thinking your best bet is to follow the test with a simple carb and a complex carb (and loads of other food) to get sugar back up and normalized... like candy/juice/soda for a quick spike and a sandwich on whole grain bread for a sustained lift ? No idea what I'm talking about but that would be my approach

  • @MrsVoorhees make sure you eat after. I totally crashed and it turns out my blood sugar was 61.
