    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms): Nof bad. Which I find disconcerting, no matter now much I try to tell myself it's fine. The symptoms I have seem to be random and varied. Sometimes I get light headed or see spots if I move too quickly. I'm started to feel constipated, which I thought would have hit me a few weeks ago, but just seems to be coming on in the last half a week or so. Yesterday I was crying over absolutely nothing off and on all day. Various things set off each episode, none of which were rational or would normally prompt crying.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise): Not well, TBH. I have a scan tomorrow and I'm just so nervous. I keep repeating to myself that it's just a fear and I don't have a reason to think anything is wrong. But as many of you know, having a MMC really messes with you.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? Scan tomorrow at radiology with a tech. I won't see the doctor unless something is wrong. I'll see doc in 2 weeks.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever: I didn't sleep well last night so today is going to be a struggle.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix? Oh, I have lots! House of Cards, Jessica Jones, Making a Murderer. I liked the first 2 seasons of OITNB, but I fell off from that with the more recent seasons.

Blah, the above post is for Lonestar021416. No idea how I am logged into an old account. I'll try to fix it.

Eta I have no idea what TB is doing, but it's showing me as logged in to my account on the account page, but showing an old user name when I post.

  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating) I have 3 living children and had a Mmc in oct at 8w4d found out baby had no heartbeat and then a chemical pregnancy in Jan at 4w. I'm 37 and praying everything goes well and we bring home our last baby in January.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
nauseas all day, getting absolutely miserable at dinner time until bedtime and then will vomit and feel sick all night. Still taking my prometrium twice a day and it makes me so tired for a couple hours. My vitamins make me sick to my stomach no matter when I take them but I keep trying to get them in everyday. My boos are very sore still and my abdomen is very sore the last 2 days. I'm wondering if the uterus is just growing and that's where the pain is coming from.
    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Anxiety is at an all time high, I have my first ultrasound this Thursday and that's where I found out with my Mmc baby had no heartbeat. I know it's a different pregnancy and I have lots of symptoms but it's really hard not to let your mind wander
    4. When is your first or next appointment?
    Thursday at 8:30 central
    5. Rants/raves/whatever
I think my spouse is finally done working 14-16 hr midnights for the last 6 weeks straight. It will be nice to have him home to help out and talk to again.

@LoneStar21416Best of luck tomorrow! I know how nerve wracked you are right now. I hope everything turns out to be just perfect!

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) MEH. Nausea that comes and goes. One minute I'll feel fine and the next I want to just lay down forever. Still pretty consistently tired. **TMI** SO. MUCH. DISCHARGE. And of course, peeing 17 million times a day.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) Pretty okay. I've got a million things going on right now keeping me distracted.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? June 14th OB and u/s

    5. Rants/raves/whatever H and I found an amazing fixer upper 1920s Craftsman for an absolutely incredible price. We really weren't getting ready to look for a house until the later part of the year, but oh boy, is this an opportunity. I'm getting way too excited - I'm sure there is a very large mechanical problem somewhere for it to be as cheap as it is. But I will channel my inner Joanna Gains and make this house absolutely epic if we can get everything worked out.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix? Obviously Fixer Upper is up there, along with Bob's Burgers, HIMYM, House of Cards, OITNB, just the usuals.

  • 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) - The all day sickness feeling has gotten more controllable. Still there but I'm learning that if I just keep stuffing my face it helps. I hate feeling like I need to find something to eat every 15-20 minutes. Crackers don't really seem to make a dent and carbs tend to be the only thing that helps. Haven't been on the scale but really hoping that I am not gaining much because of it. This morning I've had this minor urge to throw up but with no luck so we'll see how the rest of the day goes. This is probably the worst I've felt the last few days. I've also just been uncomfortable. No real other way to describe it. On top of the nausea I just feel like I'm not comfortable. Round ligament pain here and there. Tired.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) - At 9 weeks I'm feeling ok. Always a little anxious but nothing too bad right now. My biggest problem is that while I feel like reaching 12 weeks is a huge milestone, I've known so many people with issues later on that even in my first pregnancy that had no problems, I had a small level of anxiety the entire pregnancy, and the time between 12 weeks and 20 weeks was actually the worst because my 1st trimester symptoms were gone but I wasn't feeling baby move yet. Not looking forward to that span this time.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? June 29th with OB. No scan unless she feels we need it for some reason. Hoping to be able to hear the heart beat.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever - Not much this week. I'm tired of feeling like this but at the same time it's reassuring so I'm trying to be positive about it. My 18month DS was not wanting to sleep and really pushing my buttons this weekend. I feel bad for getting so frustrated because if I felt better, it wouldn't be so bad.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix? I don't have Netflix but have considered it so I can watch Fuller House and now some of the Adam Sandler movies made for Netflix.

  • Fingers crossed for your appointment tomorrow @Peanut0102 @LoneStar21416 (whichever tag you happen to see)!

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) Hello nausea, by dear old friend. I was in Italy helping run an event the past 5 days, and it was not pleasant trying to keep down conference food. I ended up getting McDonalds one day for lunch (which seems like a sin to do in Italy) just so I had enough energy to get through the day. I have today to myself at home, and then tomorrow am leaving on a cruise around the Baltic and I'm aiming to not throw up in 4 different countries.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) While I was away, I got a letter from my doctor with a prescription for

Levothyroxine with a note to call back that DH read to me over the phone, which freaked me out because I had no other information to go on and it was after hours. I called them at the crack of dawn the next morning to be told not to worry, I could just start the pills when I got back from my trip and that my TSH levels weren't THAT high (2.8, was told I should be under 2.5). I'm still concerned that maybe this might have had something to do with my previous MMC, but I guess I can get more answers at my appointment on the 14th.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
Next week for a repeat ultrasound and probably more bloodwork.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
The blob did not enjoy the delicious shrimp I got for lunch and it makes me sad.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
Right now we're powering through Daredevil, but season 2 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is next on my list.

  • @Lonestar021416 Fx for a wonderful u/s tomorrow!!
@cjs260 a 1920's craftsman is my kind of house. Love Joanna Gains and Fixer Upper.
@Becid24 Welcome! I will keep you in my thoughts this week.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) I am SO TIRED. I have had nausea off an on - brushing my teeth is a gag-fest. The indigestion is killer. And my BB's are so sore but I don't think any bigger.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) Pretty high right now. I go in tomorrow for an u/s with my OB and I will be 6w5d. With my MMC, I measured 6w1d at 6w5d and then I measured 6w5d at 9w1d. I just really hope I am measuring right on (as this was IVF there is not any confusion as to how far along I should be) and that we see that little flicker on the screen.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? Tomorrow at 1:20pm Mountain Time

    5. Rants/raves/whatever This weekend we drove up into the mountains. Going over several passes the roads were so damaged that it made the car so very bouncy - it was such a miserable drive. I cried once we got there. All I could think about was that it was going to do some sort of damage to the babe. Ugh.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix? I recently Binge watched Orphan Black (on Amazon Prime). I lover Fixer Upper. DH and I are re-watching Ally McBeal. And before that we re-watch all of Friends. I am currently watching the most cringe-worthy show ever (and I am really hoping that y'all don't judge me because it is SO BAD) - Gossip Girl.

  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating) Hey everyone, I'm not really sure if I fit here because my loss was so long ago, but I'll try and jump in anyways. I'm a 23 year old Floridian. I had an unplanned pregnancy when I was 18 in 2011 that ended in a miscarriage at seven and a half weeks. I'm 6w3d right now and anxiously waiting to pass my loss date so I can feel more secure in this pregnancy.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) I'm really nauseated and exhausted, but otherwise in good spirits with no serious symptoms. The boobs have finally stopped hurting.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) I'm approaching the date of my previous loss so I'm getting a little antsy to be over the hurdle.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? June 17th I have an elective ultrasound to hopefully hear the heartbeat and date the pregnancy.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever I'm just excited to progress in this pregnancy. It feels different this time around, and I have more symptoms so it feels more real than my previous pregnancy. Symptoms are good, it means there's something still going on.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix? I've been doing hulu more than netflix recently, because hulu has all the Gordon Ramsay shows and also Law and Order SVU, so I've been binge watching Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares (not good for my morning sickness lol) and SVU.

  • @paukmekiande H and I used to watch Hell's Kitchen all the time. "The chicken is raw!!!!!"  I love how Fox would cue up these dramatic teasers that had nothing to do with what actually took place on the episode. For example, camera cuts to a crying baby in the restaurant to imply that there was something horribly wrong with the food when the baby was really just crying because, well, it's a baby.
  • 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)

still hungry all all the time. Also feeling the fatigue off and on. Still really bothered by the smell hand soap of all things.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
I I was really looking forward to telling my brother and SIL while we are on vacation and vacation time is upon us and I feel like chickening out. I'm not sure why but I just keep thinking what if Cletus quit growing and I don't know yet.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?

    Forever away. June 27

    5. Rants/raves/whatever

    I love oriental flavored ramen!

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?

I really enjoyed the great British baking show a lot. Right now I am watching psych and iZombie.

  • 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
Emotional, tired, food aversions 24/7, bloated, constipation

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Today could be called Meltdown Monday. Work was chaotic and the reality of my appointment tomorrow is scary. I've tried to not get too excited this pregnancy and I guess at some point I did get excited since my scans so far have been good. I'm a hot mess thinking about all the what ifs.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
Tomorrow- I'll be 8w5d and it'll possibly the biggest we've ever seen our baby on a scan.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
My husband brought home GiGi Cupcakes to make me feel better.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
Binge watching Netflix is my favorite past time. I have probably seen it all. Homeland, Strike Back, Orange is the New Black, Dexter, Greys. Hard to pick a favorite. I love it all.
  • edited June 2016
@LoneStar21416 @Becid24 @susykat77 @ceclarlinetlo I just wanted to say how much your MMC fears resonate with me. When I was reading through this thread, it kept jumping out at me how common a fear it is, and it's one I definitely feel as well. Just the fear of thinking everything is okay and not knowing. I talked about it with my midwife, and she said that the odds are on our side, and if we have no evidence of things going wrong, it is okay to embrace pregnancy today. Which is... true, but hard, I think, for all of us PGAL ladies because the odds have already not been on our side.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
I'm kinda walking the middle path, pregnancy symptom wise. Not so bad that it makes me feel like death, but not so light that I worry that something is wrong. Which is super easy to say right now, not so much when I am just dying to poop at 11 last night.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Relatively okay this week, actually. I am still riding the high from my ultrasound on Thursday.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
June 28. Though my husband and I are going to a rural community for him to work as the community doc for the next two weeks*, and we're probably going to use the doppler or ultrasound after hours to sneak another peak at the little bean.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
So I bought a pair of maternity shorts. No regrets, no looking back.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
Hahaha, you have hit on one of my guiltiest pleasures. Currently I am binging Parenthood, having just finished Playing House. But in terms of all time favourites, Downton Abbey is my go-to for "I'm feeling rotten and I want to be surrounded by familiarity and comfort."

    *Edited to add
: That trip is going to mean I'll be around a lot less for the next few weeks. There's next to no bandwidth where we're going, so my vanishing act for the next two weeks shouldn't be read into.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
    Sleepy, bit nauseous the usual.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Up and down if I keep myself busy I don't stress about it so much. I just want to get through the next few weeks

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
June 9th (Thursday) finally! I managed to be patient

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
I do not know what's going on with DS but he has gotten to a phase where he won't sleep. He keeps waking up screeching at 4 in the morning and he won't sleep alone. I don't mind cosleeping in general but I don't get much sleep while consleeping becuse I have no room on the bed and I NEED my sleep or I turn into a crazy b****h. So I spent ages rocking him and cuddling him until he finally fell back asleep in his crib. He won't fall asleep by himself either, this has been going on for a few weeks now and being preggo tired on top of baby tired is making me grumpy.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
Lately I have been rewatching Game of Thrones on HBO Now, I jusr binge watched Bones to get caught up from the midseason finale. We use natflix for kid shows mostly lol

  • 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
Bronchitis is almost gone!  Still coughing a little but not so badly that it makes me gag anymore so that's a HUGE improvement over last week.

My boobs are still super sore and I can't sleep on my stomach anymore because they hurt:( Some heartburn and food aversions but not having any nausea.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Feeling pretty good today.  Its going to be a busy week at work so that is keeping me on my toes.  We decided to tell our parents so we told my mom and grandma yesterday and will be telling my husband's mom later this week.  I think their excitement is helping me to start to feel excited about this pregnancy instead of terrified.  (They didn't know about either of our previous losses and we've decided to let them just be excited and not share that with them for now as I'm not sure whether their reactions would be supportive or make me feel worse)

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
Next Friday at 10 weeks 3 days :)

We are doing one of the blood test screenings then so after that appointment, I'm sure I'll be plenty stressed for a week or so while we wait for the results.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
Not on netflix, but we just started watching Game of Thrones and have been binge watching that for the past few weeks.
  • 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) holy sick. Pregnosmnia. Peeing every 14 seconds. Nausea.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) fine. For some reason I feel okay about things. My last pregnancy ended at 9+4, but my baby never grew past 7 weeks. This baby was measuring perfectly healthy at 8+2, so I'm optimistic. This is all starting to feel real.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
6/15 for a ten week "maternal comfort scan" because my OB (bless her heart) knows that this was the point my last pregnancy ended. A scan on 7/1 with my 12 week appointment. Hoping to announce after that :)

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
I'm so severely cranky and hate everyone. Mostly DH. And he's amazing and helps so much. I'm very mean to him.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
ugh, kimmy Schmidt. Orange is the new black? New season anytime soon?
  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating) Um. I'm 25 years old, been married for 5 years and trying for a little over one and a half. Had one miscarriage at 11 weeks last December, right before Christmas.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) bloaty, nauseous, and cranky. My boobs are really sore and nothing tastes right.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) ughhhhh. The anxiety. Every time I have to pee I get anxious. Every time I feel a twinge I feel like miscarriage is imminent. Rawr.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? Not for a while yet. I want to wait until at least 10 weeks for my checkup. Early ultrasounds are almost always more stress than they're worth, imo.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
I'm sooo tired all of the time. And it's really hard to not freak out over everything. My first pregnancy I was so blissfully ignorant of what could go wrong, and this time I can think of nothing else. No miscarriage dreams yet, so that's comforting (I had them every day for about two weeks before I lost the first).

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
    Right now? Parenthood.
  • You said it well @poetryandoceans !  I'll miss your posts while you're gone.  Hopefully you can check in here and there if possible!

Good luck, @gapeachrn .  Tomorrow will be the biggest we've seen baby too if everything is OK.  I think that's definitely causing me more anxiety.
  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating) My name is Lauren Katz, I'm 29 years old. Been married for 5 years, and have a 2.5 year old son. Last July I lost my daughter to trisomy 13 just shy of four months. Currently 6 weeks pregnant.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) Feeling like a drank a ton of coffee on a empty stomaxhe, so sick, and so tired!

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
    Very anxious, scared and nervous

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
    June 27th when I'm 9 weeks

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
trying to stay positived and excited for this pregnancy. Scared and nervous, praying for a healthy baby, I don't think I could go through what I went through again last year.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix? Everything!
  • @gapeachrn, @susykat77, @LoneStar21416  I'll be thinking of you all tomorrow!!

@Briala, @Becid24 Good luck on Thursday!

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) Insomnia is rough right now.  Also I am only wanting to eat really bad food like candy, cookies and fast food :(  It all sounds so good!  Then I feel terrible after I eat it.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
I'm feeling good this week.  It was so wonderful to see baby growing well on my u/s last Thursday.  That really helped me start to think more positively about this pregnancy.  If I have another good scan next week at 9 weeks then I can really start to think ahead.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
    June 16th - follow up u/s

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
I only have 1 1/2 days of work left until summer break!!!!  I'm soooo ready to be done.  Then I have to think of ways to entertain a 2-year-old all summer but we'll have fun!

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix? I loved the comedy Catastrophe on amazon prime.  I have a hard time getting into tv shows so I don't binge watch much.

  • 2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
Pretty decent most days. Sometimes if I let myself get too hungry, I'll get pukey, and mornings/nights are still kind of rough, but over all, not too horrible (I'm sure I'll pay dearly for this kind of positive attitude. Probably tomorrow.).

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
I've been pretty nervous. I'm approaching the time I lost my LO last time, so I keep having to talk myself (or be talked) off of my "negativity cliff".

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
Wednesday! It's a follow up appointment and I'm SO nervous.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
Just that this waiting game is killing me.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
Grey's Anatomy or Gilmore Girls. We usually just use our Amazon Prime account though, and I'm currently watching all of the Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman episodes, from start to finish.

  • Yay for your good news @LoneStar21416 !

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
The usual - feeling nauseous if I don't eat, tired, emotional

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Feeling very nervous for my appointment tomorrow.  Part of it is hoping that I don't have to regret telling people, which is a strange reaction I think.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
Tomorrow (Wednesday @ 2pm) is my first ultrasound and first appointment with the OB.  Up until this point, my only confirmation of pregnancy is my HPTs.  That's why I'm so nervous.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
We told my ILs this weekend.  They are not emotional people.  My FIL did give me a hug.  My MIL, while she did have a smile on her face, said:
    1. Ugh, the middle of January?  You better hope there's not a snow storm.
    2. (To DD): You're not going to be the center of attention anymore.
    3. (To DD): You'll have to share all of your toys
    4. (To Me): Right in the middle of the school year?! (I work at a high school)
Maybe I'm overly-sensitive, but these pissed me off.  All negative statements.  Par for the course with her though.  I guess it could have been worse.

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
I don't have Netflix, but I've been known to DVR and binge watch Gilmore Girls. If I could, I'd binge watch Outlander.

Hey all! I'm 37, the mother of a 3 yo boy (all boy!). During the past year, I had two, back to back miscarriages, each at 8-9 wks. My husband is 41 and a firefighter who is also attending nursing school. :)

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
Tired, I feel very cat like.  Nauseous in the morning, sore/growing boobs, and the pimples have started.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
I'm feeling much better this time around. We've prayed a lot and have been told things from members of our church that have us knowing this will be our 2nd child.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
Had blood levels tested at 4-5 wks, everything was good. First U/S was yesterday and saw a strong heartbeat of 120 bpm and we meet with my doc next Wednesday. Asking for another u/s at 8 weeks since that seems to be our Achilles heel. He's treating me as high risk this go around.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
Just trying to keep a great perspective and keep negative thoughts out!

    6. GTKY: what is your favorite thing to binge watch on Netflix?
Not really on Netflix, but I can get sucked into a America's Next Top Model marathon in a heartbeat. lol

Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating)

My pregnancy brain never went away (I often feel like the girl from 50 first dates; I never have a clue if I've seen a movie or been somewhere with dh before!) and i honestly have no idea if I've introduced myself on here or not, so I haven't been posting, but I'll do a short intro.. I'm 25, a SAHM to one sweet 11 month old girl :) hubs and I met in middle school, and began dating after high school. We love doing stuff with family, anything outdoors, and all sorts of music and FOOD :)

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
I am extremely tired, sore boobs and cranky.. but that's it. Last pregnancy I didn't feel nauseous, I just did t want to eat so I'm trying to tell myself it's OK that I don't have m/s this time either.

    3. Iam super anxious. We've pretty much quit talking about this baby BC after our u/s I'm pretty discouraged. Hubs keeps saying stuff like if your pregnant which is upsetting BC there is a baby, we saw it, we just don't know it it's going to be viable, so I haven't had much to say to him about it.

    4. We have an u/s Thursday.

    5. Hubs cringes anytime I mention spending money (even for $1 burgers) but keeps buying stupid crap -ice cream, drinks, dog collars, etc. Doesn't he know how much I want a dang burger????

    6. PARENTHOOD!!! I also like parks and rec and blood lines. I'm embarrassed to admit I also watch pretty little liars even though I know it's bad.. I don't know why I even like it!

  • *high five* @susykat77 great news :)

  • So happy to hear about all of these great scans! Yay! Jan17 is our month pgals!

Who is ready for crazy talk? I am on the verge of tears today. I won't let myself cry because I'm convinced that for me, crying during pregnancy indicates a drop in hormones and means I'll miscarry. I realize this is sheer insanity. Usually my sadness manifests as anger and not tears. No clue what's up with me.
