Thank you! I keep reminding myself. Not every lil thing I feel or don't feel means I'm MC and my last MC does not define me. I can have a healthy happy full term baby. And I just stopped today... Prayed on it. Can't keep dwelling on it. Just gotta make it to my appointment. Hang in there ladies! We can do this!
THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!!! I had a major freakout last night because my boobs stopped aching, and I swore it was a sign. My husband talked me off the ledge and all seems normal today. I am so nervous.
Wow, every day makes such a big difference. It's my first pregnancy so no real reason to worry, but I've been way less "chill" than I'm proud of. @antarctica I also had a boob pain freak out yesterday.
@antarctica and @Xstatic3333 Just last night I was having a conversation with one of the few people I've told, and she just happened to mention exactly this. I hadn't even thought to ask. She said "Oh, and at some point your boobs might stop hurting. DON'T panic." Apparently hers blinked on and off and that's totally fine. Do we all keep grabbing them to make sure they're still sore?

Umm, yes, try poking them. This is how I pass the time when I'm alone in the office
ETA they hurt again today. I think a lot is related to the fact that I wore a sports bra all day yesterday.
@Vastra I think I've become the only woman in history whose husband does not get turned on by her feeling herself up anymore because I literally spend ALL DAY analyzing whether or not my boobs are sore, how the nipples look, if they're still puffy or protruding or if they just seem 'normal' again... poor hubby!
Thank you for posting this! So reassuring. I'm 5 weeks and 1 day and my boobs just started to feel tingly. I've had sore nipples for about a week now but now I'm experiencing pinching sensations overall. Kinda hurt but I can't complain!

Seriously, the amount of times in any given day I grab my boobs to see if they still hurt is disturbing.
I really like that chart. I was convinced that I wasn't nervous this time but from the way I keep testing over and over I admit I am very nervous.
EdIt After actually feeling nervous due to bad cramping I have changed my thoughts on this as well. I know this chart wasn't entirely accurate so when I was afraid something was wrong the numbers didn't mean anything.
I'm the same. I'm trying to stay calm and testing has helped that a lot. My tests are so much darker than the last time. Last time I miscarried at 5w exactly so I'm very happy to be passing that mark.

Thank you for posting! My boobs have been "blinking on and off" and I wasn't sure if that was common or not!

@rosannahhh Totally normal! And today I Googled "bloating on and off," because the blobby tummy I had Wednesday night has shrunk. I had my first appointment yesterday, and she said everything looked good, but I still POAS when I got home last night. But apparently it's completely normal to be bloated one day and "not feel pregnant" the next during the first trimester. Trying to make friends with my paranoia. It's going to be a long 9 months!

Omg randomly throughout the day I start touching my boobs to make sure they still hurt. I'm so nervous too after a mmc. Ugh!

I hate to be negative, but I want to say that random numbers with no sense of the source or accuracy have little benefit. There is no citation and therefore we have no sense of whether these are true for all women, women under the age of 35, only women with no known complications, women in North America only...
As a friend said on another board: "If seeing your risk drop in a concrete way helps ease your anxiety, great! I just wish people were more aware of what does and does not constitute valid sources of information before passing the information along. This is a gripe I have with social media in general, not just TB."
EDIT to add: given the lack of citation, I'd personally prefer this not be stickied but I can ignore the thread if others would prefer to have it stickied. I just wanted to voice a different opinion that took me awhile to formalize and feel comfortable voicing.

@Vastra hahaha I totally grabbed my boobs right before I read your sentence asking if everyone keeps grabbing their boobs to make sure they're still sore
I'm with @catiecatp I used this to comfort me when my symptoms were coming and going with my last pregnancy and it still ended in a loss @ 7 weeks, which according to this chart was only 3.9% likely. Those odds didn't really help me.
I don't think it should be pinned, though if most people want it pinned I can just ignore it.
I also wouldn't necessarily like to see this pinned. A quick Google search led me to a handful of other charts with slightly different results from this, each of which cited different sources. I also read a couple of articles that said that the chances of carrying to term depend on a host of other factors - previous repeat miscarriages, early bleeding, age of the mother, health of the mother, etc. So it's not so cut-and-dry as X weeks = X%.
I'm another one who doesn't find this particularly comforting. Last week, when I measured 5 days behind at a dating US, I actually thought about this chart and felt like I'd been demoted or something. I'm a scientist by training, so I should have known better, but the excitement and nerves got the best of me.
@MonaLisaRalphio I found this comforting in the very beginning but as I started cramping for what seemed like a really long time there was really nothing that would help. (Painful cramps not just light) As well, from day to day I seem to change completely.
I think you are right it just depends on the person and the mood. As well even if the chance for miscarriage is 1% that still means we could be in that percentage. (Someone is)
In my last pregnancy I would Google this stuff but with more specific information like age. Depending on where you look it can comfort or make you feel worse. (Especially when I ran into trouble with other tests)

However precise or imprecise these numbers are, I like framing it in terms of chances of NOT miscarrying. It's a good reminder that the chances are that I will not miscarry. i don't take great comfort in the numbers because of a previous loss (later than this chart goes) but I do try to remember that if I was a betting person, the odds are in favour of not miscarrying.
