Kimmy717 I feel you - mine is constant. The other day I was holding a friend's new baby, and of course my nose started dripping non-stop. SO awkward. She knew what was happening, but I still felt uncomfortable holding the baby because gross.
So, I had a freaking hot flash today. That was fun. I was mid-prenatal massage, drifting off into paradise as this freaking goddess of a woman went to town on my shoulder that has been bothering me, and I started to feel warm. I figured the room was just a little warm, but I started to really sweat. Within a minute my entire body was covered in sweat- and not just a little sweat. We're talking hot-as-hell Bikram yoga at 105 degrees for 90 minutes type of sweat. My freaking toes were sweating. It was unreal! They had to flip me over and prop me up, give me ice water and dab me with a cold wet towel with ice in it to cool me off enough to finish the massage. It was nuts! I've never experienced that before!
@SarahDarah333 That same thing happened to me during a pre-natal massage with DD2. Although, having fainted before, I thought that was what was going to happen. I was on my side at the time, so I'm not sure why it happened. After a glass of cold water and adjusting a fan to blow directly on me, I was fine. The poor masseuse was not fine. It freaked her out so much that the rest of the massage was crap. I was so sad, I love a good massage!
I have been dealing with stomach cramps (RLP?) since yesterday afternoon and now it's hard to breathe. My heart is beating faster too. It almost feels like the start of a panic attack. I have not gotten a good night's sleep in a few days, so I'm thinking that has to do with it.
@jas1982 I didn't have it until postpartum with my first, but I know people that had it most of their pregnancy. Hope you can find some relief! (I have no advice. I just complained about it to DH until it eventually went away last time.)
When I first get up in the morning, I'm super out of breath. I can only take shallow breaths and if I try to breathe deeper, it tickles my chest and I'll cough a lot. As the morning goes on, it gets better and better. I'm wondering if she just moves up in the night and I'm more compressed and she slowly moves down as I'm upright longer?? Anyone else experiencing this? It's really weird!
OMG my nipples!! Usually they are fine throughout the day but the last few days they will randomly start burning for a few minutes then go back to normal. It is so uncomfortable!
My left side butt/lower back hurts in 1 spot. I'm waking up no less than 5 - 10 times per night to flip from side to side. It's less painful to get out of bed then get back in than it is to turn over. Plus, today when I got home today I noticed I'm getting cankles it's supposed to be 103 the next few days so the swelling is going to get so much worse. Yay for the 3rd trimester over the summer!
The last few days my heart has started racing, usually in mid to late afternoon while I'm sitting at my desk. It's nit uncomfortable or even that alarming, just weird. Super heavy thuds, and I don't know if it's actually faster than usual or just odd that I'm so aware of it. Dr Google suggested it's the increased blood volume. Anyone else?
Random, but all of my preggie friends rave about how much energy their babybump has after a meal. Food has the opposite effect on mine--I eat and she's out for 1-2 hours after. Doctor says "food coma"...she must take after me.
@abberson I get the racing heart thing, and it seems like it's usually when I'm just sitting down (not that I am running many marathons these days). I got the same response from the same "doctor," and that sort of makes sense to me. Heart is working harder, right?
@jas1982 Agree the explanation makes sense, and I feel a little better knowing it's not an uncommon experience -- just a new one for me! @MrsVoorhees I got a little panicky the first time, too. It's a strange feeling!
@jas1982 - I had carpal tunnel through my first pregnancy (until I had surgery for it at 30 weeks - being diabetic in addition, they were afraid that I would have permanent nerve damage). Prior to surgery though the doctors had me wearing wrist braces basically at all times. That may help. Good luck!
NPR but I have had a head cold since Mothers Day weekend and neither my OBs office or Primary doctor will give me anything for it since I'm pregnant. I am so tired of being up at night due to coughing.
Also defiantly pregnancy related my vag feels like some kicked it really hard. It is killing me.
Anyone else who has had dizziness or fainting been referred to a cardiologist? Not sure WTH they're looking for, seems like a blood sugar/ anemia problem to me. I mostly have not been feeling that bad, but I am really starting to feel ready for this pregnancy to be done.
@jas1982 In the past, I had fainting and I was referred to a cardiologist. They found that my heart beat was irregular and I was put on medication. Because my heartbeat was irregular and then I had low pulse, that's why I felt dizzy. Sorry you're dealing with this!!
@RG1 I guess that would make sense. I wish the doc would have given me a better idea of what they're looking for! I hate feeling like I am in the dark.
@jas1982 Yes, I totally get what you mean! A few weeks back I was having pretty bad light-headedness, dizziness, etc and it was affecting my work so work wanted me to talk with my doctor (family doc at this point, not OB). She told me drink more water, eat more salt (cause of my low blood pressure). I told her I already drink tons of water and it doesn't help, so she told me to drink Gatorade. Fast forward to blood draw from glucose test, and my OB tested red blood count and hemoglobin as well, both of which were flagged low, which can make you feel light headed if your organs aren't getting enough oxygen (not to mention anemia). Thanks family doc! Probably could have done a real test instead of telling me to drink Gatorade. SOOO could still be anemia. Have you had your blood tested?
Anyone else feeling exhausted every day since hitting the 3rd trimester? I thought it was due to traveling for work but I have been home a few days now and just feel tired all of the time. Life is requiring more effort again and I feel like I did during the 1st trimester. I knew I would get tired again but I guess I thought I had more time?? Anyone else struggling like me?

@RG1 YES, I begged my OB to test my iron and I am anemic. I am taking a supplement which helps some, but I asked her if we could test again, and she sort of seemed like, "well, I GUESS we can." Seriously lady, I am not asking for your blood. Only trying to get you to check mine. I definitely feel better on the iron supplement (except for my digestive system, of course).
VeraMali yes, my appetite has gone way down. It's been 95+ here for the last few weeks, and I think mine has something to do with the heat. I'm wondering when it will come back...
I've started getting major nosebleeds. TMI and gross, but I go to blow my nose that's constantly running, and it's blood instead of mucus.
@Blondie080300 - I'm definitely starting to revert to first tri feelings. I'm so tired and wiped all the time and I have a weird appetite. The summer sun and all the busy-ness of the season is certainly helping though. I was near depressed during the first tri since the weather was so dreary, and I had a little too much time to dwell on how awful I felt.
I woke up around 4 am with a horrible backache. It was dull and a little bit crampy - kind of like the very very beginning of period cramps. It's eased up a bit and no other cramps, so I'm fairly certain it's just one of those "you slept weird" things, but of course I was too worried about it this AM to go back to sleep.
@nativetexan512 I struggled with nosebleeds for about 2 weeks this past month. So gross and I had never experienced it before but was grateful for the heads up from reading prev. posts that this is normal. Good luck to you!

@blondie080300 I feel pretty good most of the time, but Saturday I sat down on the couch with DD and was asleep in one minute. I didn't even realize I was tired. I only napped for like 15 minutes, but it was definitely needed.
@MrsVoorhees - I wish Donna was mine. Depending on the day I think I waiver more between April and Leslie... super annoyed with the world or overly enthusiastic.
@MrsVoorhees I love Leslie Knope. She is by far my favorite fictional character ever. Not sure if you can tell in my profile picture, but the shirt I'm wearing says Knope/Swanson 2016 (I'm that much of a fanatic). It's my favorite shirt, and luckily runs a little big so it still fits
Has anybody experienced uterine tightening (like a contraction or Braxton Hicks) in conjunction with RLP?
The last few days, I've had a very sharp pain come and go along the lower right side of my belly (where I imagine the round ligaments to be). In between twinges, I am generally sore in that same area. I was chalking it up to RLP but, starting yesterday, when the pain flares up my uterus gets super hard and it's extremely painful. In the middle of the night last night, I went to roll over and the movement seemed to trigger it - sharp pain in right side, total tightening of belly and intense pain that I had to breathe through (like a labor contraction). Anybody else experiencing anything like this? Ouch!
@Thscary oh I wish they were running. The perfect blend to balance out too much government with not enough government. I would totally vote for them and would have a boner for them like Leslie did for Biden. My best friend and I have shirts that say "she's the Leslie Knope to mu Ann Perkins" with an arrow, and vice versa.
