Canceled Baby Shower

So the family friend who offered her home for the baby shower has pulled out AFTER the invites were sent. Should have known something was up when upon hearing we weren't having a shower, she offered to host. Later she clarified she was JUST offering her backyard and pool leaving us to plan it ourselves. Now she's pulled out of that. I have had such a hard time since I've been pregnant. From having a major crises in our relationship, losing my job, being incapacitated by illness for 5 months, now this. All I want is my baby to be healthy.

That's really too bad. Just be sure to let your family/friends know it is cancelled. Also this "family friend" would no longer be in my circle after just cancelling out of nowhere. I mean I could understand if she had something come up and she let all your friends/family know but it doesn't seem that is the case.

Now with everything else going on...sorry. Sometimes life can for sure throw us lemons but we just have to make lemonade. Just try to enjoy that little bundle of joy and the rest of your pregnancy

So sorry...prayers for you. I hope things start turning around for u. I had a similar baby shower situation with my DD. It's hard and hurtful...so sorry
