Congrats to any TTGP grads this week, I hope there are MANY!  

If you are not a contributing member in TTGP, feel free to go right to the 1st trimester board: https://forums.thebump.com/categories/1st-trimester  Not sure if you're considered a contributing member?  Think about the quantity and quality of your posts here on the Bump while you've been TTC.  Contributing members are regularly engaged and active with other members via Love Its, callouts, quotes, and DMs over multiple months TTC.  We believe in giving back here   

This thread has mild restrictions - thread is primarily BFP announcements but does allow for direct questions or lengthy/personalized congrats in the comments. Use the "Love It" button to indicate "congrats!", "H&H 9 months!", "I was hoping this was your month!" and other short&sweet notes.  Questions as well as longer personal congratulatory notes can be posted in the thread.

Regular board rules apply - this is not the place to ask if you are pregnant based off your symptoms or for second opinions on your tests.  We do invite you to contribute in the daily TWW and WTO threads and discussions.  This community gives back tenfold what you put into it!

CD/DPO of first BFP?

How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?

(Feeling obligated to do the thing where I say I contributed a bit, made some connections, but I've only been around for about a month)
CD/DPO of first BFP? 33/14

How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 3/3, and before that 2 NTNP. 

What were you doing TGKU? HIO EOD during FW, Preseed (just this month), OPK- CBDA (just this month; CBD for 2 months before that), FF app. Temped for exactly five days last month; gave up because my schedule is weird and the chart was all over the place. 

How was your timing? Good, once we adjusted after using CBDA. I think I'd been miscalculating my O date before that. 

What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? 
9 dpo: cramping and BFN. 
11 dpo: breakouts and fatigue
10 dpo-present: Super tender boobies, fatigue

How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I had all these adorable ideas for how to tell him, but they all flew out the window. I had been traveling for work, and intentionally did not bring any HPTs. Left Work City early on Friday to come home and test. H knew AF was late, and that my boobs were sore. I tested the second I got home; I had been planning to wash my face and put on PJs while the test was processing, but I got "Pregnant 1-2" (CB) before I even put it down! H heard me running around upstairs going "ohmigod ohmigod" and asked "what?" and I just came downstairs holding the test out, with a shocked expression. I started shaking and he hugged me. After a few minutes I said "ew, I peed on this!" and ran back upstairs. 

Anything else to add? Y'all, I'm 38. I didn't think this was for sure going to happen ever, let alone relatively quickly. If you're of "advanced age" and worried about your chances, perhaps I can give you some hope! Feel free to PM me for one-on-one support.
Also, for anyone Googling, as I did about ten times "BFP after BFN at 9dpo": YES. It's possible. FX for everybody here, thanks for the tips/sharing/fun! You ladies are great! Hope to see you all on the other side soon!

@Vastra, as someone of "advanced maternal age" you do give me hope.  I'm 4 years older at 42, and we're on cycle 6, but it's great to see I'm not alone.  HH9 to you!!

Thank you, and all the happy thoughts for you! I am hardly an expert, and it's too early to tell how smoothly this will go, but it's so easy to think it will never happen. It can, and I know plenty of ladies my age and older who have had happy stories. Fx for you!
