Could people not constantly wreck on the highway I use to get to work every morning?! I was almost half an hour late because someone wasn't paying attention to the feckin' person in front of them.

WTF pregnancy dreams. Dreamt I gave birth with just my mom there then rushed off leaving poor baby girl at the hospital without a 2nd thought to get to a breastfeeding class (?!) and fight with my mum about the fact that my car seat hadn't arrived yet.
Even my subconscious knows I'm nowhere near prepared... Stay in there baby girl! 9 weeks til DH can be there for the birth.
Picked up a to-go order at my favorite restaurant. The hostess asked how much longer I had left before my due date. Then she reached out, touched my stomach & told me I was having a boy (I'm having a girl) since I'm carrying all in the front. No me gusta, senorita! The extent to which you know me is that my food cost $12.49. Why. Why put your hands on me.
@kgrgreen iiiiiick. This happened to me yesterday. The nice but creepy old substitute teacher in the next room over adores me and thinks we're bros. He said "not much longer, little mama!" and patted my stomach. My assistant was standing with me and the look on her face was pure gold. If I had any F's left to give I probably would have...but I'm out at this point.
WTF. Why does Memphis allergy season have to last SO LONG! Me and DS are dying! I realize I've lived in the area all of my life but really it's so bad in the city itself. ugh.
@YeezusButtersI have been having the same problem, almost daily. There are more accidents on the high way now that it's nice out then we did all winter (in Michigan). It's ridiculous. Learn to drive people!!
@kgrgreen ugh I've sworn to punch the first complete stranger who touches my stomach in the face. At this point I'm almost gunning for this day. I just had my first complete stranger tell me I looked like I could give birth anytime now (AFTER I told her I had 2 months left), and I rather wish I had an excuse to punch her in the face!
@ktomorrow I really wish I knew what it was about pregnant women that makes complete strangers suddenly think it's acceptable to touch another person or make personal comments. I'm so sorry that you had to deal with that and props to you for staying calm. I don't know if I would have been able to do the same.
Wtf to it only being Wednesday. I woke up thrilled thinking it was Friday, nope still got 3 more days. Also, yesterday a client touched my belly and I jumped as if I was electrocuted. Please don't touch. I feel bad like I offended her but she violated my personal space.
@ktomorrow I thought I had prepared myself for that situation but in the moment: nothing. I was more shocked it happened. So she got a half-assed chuckle and side-eyed. I would love to put my hand on their face as they're touching my belly to make it awkward for them. Hopefully next time!
@theshannondee Woof. Yours is way worse. If a man-stranger touched me... idk how I would react.
Finally recovering from my cold... Its just me and one other co-worker here in the office today. Just got a call from him saying he will be in by 10am (he was supposed to be here at 8:30). Why is he going to be late? He isn't feeling good and is coming down with a cold. WTF!? Stay away from me!
WTF road construction?? They just started doing our street and apparently it's a 5 month long project. It's already a hassle to go anywhere and they've barely even started.
WTF to people who bring sick kids to the playground. And of course my daughter wants to share her toys with the one sick kid. Also, sick kid's mama kept touching my LO's hair. I KNOW IT'S PRETTY. DON'T TOUCH.
There are some damn weird people on facebook. Why do you need to have some sort of phrase lumped in with your name? Why do you need to tag 50 people to wish your 8 year old a happy birthday? People that you graduated high school with over 16 years ago that you haven't talked to since? What in the hell? I don't get it.

WTF our dogs. The little one likes to poop inside because she's just horribly bad. She goes out at least 3-4 times a day- in the mornings, on walks, when we get home, in the evenings, at night before bed. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard and walking with our dogs so there's just no excuse. She holds it a prefers to go inside. Yesterday she pooped in her own bed. Our bigger, older dog who never has accidents I guess got tired of smelling it (his bed is next to hers in the laundry room) and decided to pee all over her and her bed. Did she get up or move or sleep on the floor next to it or cry or whine or anything?! Nope. Just sat there, got peed on, and layed in it. When we were cleaning this colossal, repulsive mess she freaked out and howled while being bathed and cried like it was the worst thing in the world. So golden showers and poop= a okay, but soap and water= sure death. WTF. Can't even.
WTF to the road currently being put in by my work. They are FINALLY putting in a exit off the freeway, that goes straight to the street that I work on (not like a hooker "work on", but you know what I mean). Anyway, for the past three years, I have had to get off the freeway, take a highway to get closer, and then take a bunch of back roads with low speed limits, just to get to and from work. Now that I am quitting, the freeway is getting an offramp RIGHT ON THE DAMN STREET that I had to get to for the past three years.
@pootsdragon that is freaking hilarious! I, sadly, can sympathize with you. My Boston X is a little shit, very sweet but a shit. She frequently potties in her kennel when we aren't home, even though she has plenty of opportunity before we leave for work and when we're home (they have a dog door to come and go as they please). She is just an asshole. Oh and she digs out on a regular basis just because.
I just downloaded a contraction timer app. It's finally hitting me that I only have 6 weeks left and she could come at anytime and I want to be prepared. So WTF...time is flying by ladies!!! Our babies will be here soon!!!

WTF MIL? My husband texted her and asked if they want to go to dinner this week. Her response, "we could do Thursday or Friday. You better contact us as soon as she goes into labor".
Uhhh we just wanted to get some food or something but you know, dropping weird guilt bombs via text message is fine too...

WTF crazy lady MIL who thinks right now is a great time to call DH and whine about how her marriage is falling apart like he doesn't have anything else major going on. I get it, the end of a relationship sucks, but she's been saying she doesn't love him for years and now that her DH has decided he doesn't love her either, the world is ending.
Ugh. Suck it up buttercup, oh, and while you're at it, don't worry about not asking about your granddaughter, she's doing pretty well but you wouldn't know that or apparently care.
@MamaBish I get that from my mom all the time. She calls me crying about her own life and trying to guilt me into coming over more (she's a heavy drinker so I don't venture over very much) During the duration of my pregnancy, she has asked me once how the baby was, chastised me for having a boy instead of a girl, and hasn't mentioned my pregnancy since 20 weeks.
Just found out that the policy changed for FMLA and I only get 2 weeks paid and the rest of my leave (which might not even last 12 weeks because who can afford to??) is half pay. AWESOME.
@setosh I don't think maternity leave where I work is paid at all. Only pay I am getting is from saved up pto and vacation time. You could try asking about a work from home option like I did. It might not add much, but a couple extra hours here and there might help.
For the short term disability thing, if its anything like my job, you have to be paying into it for at least a year for them to pay out for anything. Its also an optional thing here so of course, silly me, I did not sign up for it. (LO was a bit of a surprise ). I have however heard that in some states it is automatically deducted, in which case get in contact with them asap because I have been told maternity leave IS covered by them.
WTF to this client that will only let me help her. She's rude and irritating. I was coming out of the bathroom when I saw her. She felt the need to call out "Waddle, waddle waddle" the entire time I walked back to my desk, and then proceeded to tell me that I wouldn't make it until July, let alone the end of July.
Keep talking and you'll see a pregnant lady come over this counter faster than you think.....
@MamaBish@samantha1206My mom is the same way, she calls just to talk about what's going on in her life (her job, friends, etc.) and no mention of anything going on in my life and only brings up the pregnancy to try to bring me down with comments like I hope you are not getting too fat. Just be with your little one, she is adorable!
@setosh are you in the US? If so, you're lucky you get half pay! FMLA is unpaid job protected leave, so any money you get is an extra benefit provided by your employer. I'm required to use 2 weeks of my own leave, get 2/3 of my pay for 4 weeks and then the following 6 is unpaid. Id be over the moon with half pay for 10weeks!!
@adough27 cameras. that was the only line of defense between me and her. Because once I got over the counter, I would be in full view of them bad boys.
This should have been for yesterday due to the twatwaffle involved, but I was too busy strapped to a fetal monitor and then trying to nap away the stress, so WTF is up with me getting rear ended for the second time in three weeks yesterday? I am seriously starting to feel like I have a target on my back (or bumper). This girl was clearly not paying a bit of attention, because traffic was moving slowly and I was able to come to a complete stop a good 5 or more seconds before she hit me. Almost three weeks to the day after I got rear ended by someone else. Both times on my way to work, both times involving a lengthy process to get the police report filed followed by a hospital visit where I had to be monitored 6 hours post-accident. Thank god both times baby and I were fine, but these occurrences are giving me anxiety about driving, especially because I have to take the two busiest, shittiest highways in Orlando to get to work. My best solution at this point is to try to leave super early for work to avoid the traffic and hope to actually make it to my job in one piece.
