Uncomfortable pressure when standing! anyone?

Hello ladies! So I am just over 38 weeks and just recently started having an uncomfortable sensation when I go from sitting at my desk to standing up....its not a contraction but definitely painful and uncomfortable. I just had an appointment and I was not dilated. Thoughts! THanks!

  • it's a good thing! Feels like a solid kick in the vajayjay but that extra pressure and weight should help you dilate/efface.

Yeah, if you make it to 38 weeks pregnant and can stand after siting a while with no discomfort-  I think you get a gold star.

It appears to be just the way it is, and if it isn't the belly- its the hips, and if it isn't that - then you must have to pee. Just speaking from personal experience here.
  • Thanks. I did not have this the first time around. Appreciate the comments.
  • Emptying my bladder even if I don't feel the need to go seems to help with that pressure. I honestly feel like the baby is going to fall out sometimes.
