This is a weekly check-in for those in their 1st trimester: weeks 1 through the end of week 13. I know we've all gone through a lot to get to this point so congratulations and best of luck to all of you over the next several months!

Hi all, I hope everyone is doing well !
I am actually 14 weeks today )  My EDD was changed to 11/14 long time ago , I had not fixed the date here. I will check in with 2nd trimester thread this week. I am looking forward to seeing you all lovely ladies in the 2nd trimester board shortly.

I will be 6 week on Thursday my EDD according to so is Jan 10th. But I'm not sure if it's correct. I had 6 failed iuis 3 with clomid 3 with injections. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2014.  Had normal periods up until then. DH is 33 and I'm 34.  So excited for my upcoming ultrasound this week and today is hopefully my 4th and final beta. I have a bunch of names for girls and none for boys lol. So we shall see we are not naming our child or children after us.

Hi! I'm due 11/26 with a girl after our first round of IVF- fresh transfer. We struggled for 2.5 years to conceive after our son (now 3), and are so grateful to be pregnant again! We did PGS testing on our remaining embryos, but didn't know a thing about this peanut so we did the Harmony testing at 10 weeks and found out the results last week! Congratulations to all the parents to be!

11 weeks today! Quiet week for me but I do have a HR appt next Wednesday. Hope everyone is feeling well.

QOTW: We'll find out the sex on July 14th @ 19 weeks.

Girl: very undecided... DH hates all my faves lol so far he hasn't ruled out Cambria or Nicolette.

Hi Ladies – I will be 6 weeks on Thursday. We did IVF ICSI & PGS.

Wondering if anyone else had betas that raised slower than normal? Had my first beta 5/10 at 304. 2nd was 5/12 at 592. My 3rd was today 5/16 but at 1336. I am going in for an ultrasound on Wed. I’ve had some bleeding (3 separate times) but no significant cramping with it. I’m also on progesterone suppositories, so up until now that’s what they thought caused it.

@meld17011 glad to see you over here ! Congrats on your BFP !! I don't have experience with slow to rise numbers - well I guess I do but the time my numbers were slow to rise they never even got over 50. Your numbers are still high and are going up and pretty significantly so isn't that a good thing ? What is the doctor saying ? I also had bleeding on multiple occasions (with and without cramps ) . I am convinced that the crinone was causing it the time it wasn't a SCH . I know it's never fun to see blood I hope your US goes well on Wednesday . Please keep us posted !

Hi everyone! I am now 10w2d. It's a quiet week for me, this is my first week since my BFP that I don't have a doctor's appointment. I actually don't go back until 6/7 which will be my NIPT appointment. My symptoms haven't been too terrible, I just need to get some new clothes quickly since none of my pants fit anymore

QOTW: We are not agreeing on any names. DH hates my favorites and I hate his....it's super frustrating. I guess we will have to come sort of agreement.

Nothing to report this week, was worried about stopping the estrogen and progesterone last week, but so far so good (knock on wood). Next Monday will be my first appt with new obgyn after "graduating" two weeks ago. 

QOTW: haven't started talking about that yet, although I know we're both thinking about it

hi! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am anxiously waiting for our next bw on Wednesday, which will be 5wks 4 days ish. 

QOTW: we have a girl's named picked out, we agreed on it quickly (before we even did the FET), Josaphine Coralie-Rose. All family names, the first name was easy as it is my Great Aunt's name and she passed very recently. The middle names are our mother's. I love everything about this name! 
We do not agree on boy's names at all. I like strong family names like Stanley, Gerard, Leonard, Anthony, Rosario, Joseph, or Fitwilliam (not a family name). He likes very simple names like John. DH's last name is super simple, so I would be heart broken to give a boy such a generic name.

thanks @mskeenan - I waited 4 days between my 2nd and 3rd beta. I guess they are concerned that it only double during that time and should be higher. I wouldn't be as worried if there was no bleeding. I've had 3 incidents. It seems to happen all at once (more than spotting) and they goes away completely (doesn't linger with spotting) - I have no clue!! - Hoping today goes fast so I can get to my appt tomorrow!

hi everyone!! My EDD is 1/1/17, so we may be partying it up at the hospital for New Years Eve this year! lol!

We had our second u/s today and the baby is growing just perfectly.  We also got to hear the heartbeat, 129bpm.. its the greatest sound I've ever heard.  We go back next Tuesday for one more appt with our RE and then i'll be released to my OB. 

Have you thought of or decided on potential names for your baby? We have a baby girl name picked out for sure (my maiden name).  But I cannot come up with anything for a boy to save my life.  Nothing just sounds right to me.

For those of you who have done genetic testing or PGS testing, is there any testing that you won't be doing because you've already done some genetic screening?

Freaking out ladies had a bad stressful day at work and now I come home from work to find a dark brown discharge in my panties and a very small blood clot I called office waiting to hear from them. This happen to anyone?

Hi everyone! Welcome to all the new pregnancies. 

I'm 13 weeks and 3 days today. I think my nausea is finally gone. I have my second OB appointment this Friday. This still doesn't feel real. And now that I'm no longer nauseous, I'm even more worried. I'm so glad I purchased a fetal doppler. It's really keeping me sane. I check the heartbeat every two days 

DH and I decided not to find out the gender of our baby until delivery day. So far we like Isaiah and Bryce for potential boy names and Sierra, Addison and Savannah for potential girl names.

@ultratomato brown means old blood. Perhaps it's from implantation bleeding? Did you spot at all? I bleed red heavy blood for one day around 6 weeks then had brown discharge for about 10 days after. Baby is fine. Your due date falls on my birthday!

@joyzie77 I did the panorama genetic screen at 10 weeks and that's all I plan on doing . We got low risk results so I'm comfortable without doing anything else ! 

@ultratomato good luck tomorrow at your appointment . Hope your bleeding is no cause for concern 

@rachd110 you are just one day ahead of me - how cool ! My husband and I discussed Isaiah as well .

Hi ladies! Late to the checkin but my first beta was today at 8dp5dt at 81!! Saw my first BFP on a hpt on 5dp5dt. Due Jan 26, 2017!! 

We we moved onto donor eggs after trying with my eggs for a total of 5 rounds of IVF. So we are pretty excited! 

As far as names we have a few we love...

Eloise, Frances, Beatrice, Caroline, Elanor, Katherine, Louise, Ramona

Oscar, James, Henry, Arlo, Atticus, August, Arlis (somehow we have a lot of A's)

Appointment went well today and I'm measuring at 5 weeks 3 days RE said that my discharge was normal yesterday go back for my second ultrasound on Tuesday. Oh and did I mention that we are having TWINS!!!!!!

Anyone else that is close to the end of the first trimester peeing more now than earlier in pregnancy? Since Sunday, I've been peeing every 20 minutes. I thought it was supposed get better towards the second trimester. I'll be 14 weeks this Saturday and really hoping this gets better.

Yes !! @rachd110 I pee all the time . I normally pee frequently but it's even worse . It's hard to want to drink the recommended amount of water when I can't pee every 15 min at work . Yikes !!

@Rachd110 I'm also urinating more often. Definitely don't remember this with DD. I'm already at the point where I can sneeze and pee!!

Hi everyone. So this is my first pregnancy....we tried numerous IUIS, one cycle of IVF (fresh transfer), and two frozen transfers before getting a positive result. My first hcg was last Monday and it was 450. It was repeated on Wednesday and was 1253. Third hcg was this Monday and was 6883, so they are sending me for a confirming ultrasound next Friday. I'm guessing I would be due sometime in January and I'm probably around 6 weeks.

@mskeenan so long as everything looks good with my US tomorrow I can take over at that point. Im still a bit apprehensive being here. I'm about 6 wks so I'll be around for a while, FX! Just let me know what exactly I need to do.
