@DoctorDonna wow that is a crazy dream! I also had my second appointment. What are your initial thoughts? I'm really enjoying it. There are some spots that are way more sensitive than others and it is kind of crazy!

I'm enjoying it. I really like the acupuncturist I'm working with and she's really supportive. We have had some nice chats at the start of each appointment. She also seems to really know what she's doing.
*edit words* Ok friends, I got caught up chatting with co-workers and am getting ready to leave, sorry for those I missed responding to today! I'll be posting and ghosting tomorrow and Sunday as usual thanks to mobile bumping. Love you all and HAPPY WEEKEND!
I do want to say super quickly to @Aurora1973 I am so sorry for CD1 and that you're feeling so down. TTC is not easy at all and sometimes you do need to just turn those lemons into margaritas--do something nice for yourself today, friend. I am thinking of you and sending you big hugs.

R/R/CS: Temp was down even further and went below the coverline today. I had a lot of hopes pinned on this cycle. For all the reasons I mentioned yesterday plus we're even going on a little trip to the same place where H proposed and I was going to tell him in the same spot. I had this all planned so perfectly for my upcoming work travel, too. If cycle 1 would have worked, I would have missed just one trip that I was fine with missing. Now I'm up to three with one of them being super important. Now I just need to figure out if I'm going to call or email my OB/Gyn to ask her what she thinks of the length of my LP. I feel weird about it because it's 'early' but I also don't see the point of wasting cycles just so I can follow the rules when this should be an easy fix. And holy crap, both of us are already tired of bidding H's entire work schedule around my FW. It makes me feel like a damn field or something and doesn't leave us room to try to plan his schedule around anything else. The good news is that at least this next one should work out okay for timing. Don't know about June yet.
I'll probably be back over in WTO tomorrow. Hope I won't see you there!
GTKY: It's Friday the 13th! Do you have any superstitions of your own? I won't go crazy about them but the easy ones, I just go ahead and follow. Try not to break mirrors. Skip opening umbrellas indoors. Don't walk under ladders because that's just not a good practice anyways. Things like that.

@Kiki75 What is your LP length? Since you're at 11DPO now, I'm guessing it's 11 or more days. That's not considered too short. Your LP isn't considered too short unless it is under 10 days. I wouldn't worry about it at this point.
#1. Thank you to everyone who was sweet to me yesterday. It was a tough day (thankfully I don't work in a cube-ville so no one saw me crying) and I really needed it. It's nice to have people who understand the sucker punch of looking at a huge temp drop.
To all of the CD 1 ladies:
@mylove071407 Sorry you're out. Hopefully getting AF on your own this time is the beginning of a great cycle. Take care of yourself today. @leeekat14 Hope you have a nice time with your family tonight! @wineo929 I kinda wish you had left it in Sirish. It's always fun to decipher whatever crazy stuff she comes up with. @sldp123 FX for next Saturday! @stardust317 I hope you had a great run this morning! @lisswastaken I'm so sorry you're having a really tough day. I hope that lunch and shopping with your sister raised your spirits. And I hope you're wrong about AF coming. @MollyandD That sounds like a really fun day! I love that you wore a Jurassic Park shirt, too. Team Raptors all the way! @safire3 So sorry about CD1. And early on top of everything. Now that's rude. I hope you have a great vacation and neither you nor your H get any bug bites! Picaridin (Sawyers and Natrapel) are supposed to be as effective as DEET against that type of mosquitoes but won't melt plastic so you might think about using it on your face and stuff (for sunglasses or wrist for watch or whatever). @JediAlly85 I don't remember how old your DS is but if it were me, I'd probably do dinner with H and then watch a movie at home. I love the time away from normal distractions to just talk to my H. @kellybean1988 I hope the thyroid stuff gets straightened out soon and you're feeling better. And that your first pregnancy symptom really is mucus. @Lecool I hope that all of those things do mean something good! @beary67 I think it's hilarious that you two have a pajama pact. Love it! @marriedhamstermom Aw, man. I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a rough day. I hope that you're wrong and it's just taking a while for the system to get regulated again. I'm not one to judge anyone for 'whining' because they haven't been trying long enough. Well...I suppose a person could push it too far... but really, it's not like you have to jump through a ring of fire, walk on coals, and get bamboo shoots to pass the test. A crappy day is a crappy day. Especially because this has a major impact on all sorts of facets of life. @skiingstark I love that gif! @kfair001 Hooray for having all positives today! Awesome! @LadyBrettAshley23 FX that your temp keeps holding out! @DoctorDonna Oh, lady. You are neither the first nor the last person to cry in that room. And one day, you will sit at a window in a rocking chair feeding a baby. It'll happen. @Megs7911 Even if you missed O, you still had awesome timing! FX for you! @mrsstuessy I hear you on the extended WTO stays. And what it means for when you O later than you had planned all of your timing around. Glad to see you in TWW! @LittleChick2 FX that AF stays away. @Mylitta Hope you're testing on Monday! @thj101 Hope you're feeling better soon. Good luck with whatever you choose for your next approach! @britters314 FX for your next test! @meilay It may have been mildly torturous for him but I'd also be glad if I never had to learn all about it so... FX that your LP is lengthening! But not too much. @whiska I love being able to open the windows now, too. It's so nice to have the fresh air! @Aurora1973 Sorry you're having a tearful day. It's like it's just so rude when you got your hopes up and then squashed. Hopefully sixth time's a charm! @sweetyjenj I'm terrible at answering questions like that but at least I won't just make something up. Hope someone can answer your questions! @PartiallyDomesticated I never knew that superstition! If all of the women in my immediate physical vicinity are already pregnant, do you suppose it will work on me?

@britters314 It seems like it's in the 10-11 day range. So it seems like it's in a weird limbo state where it's not short enough to be considered by most to be definitely LPD but other people have said that their doctors said that less that 14 days is too short. So I don't know. 11 days doesn't seem long enough to give anyone a chance to move in and start making hCG before my body decides the place is vacant and decides to burn it down. I guess I'll just wait another cycle or two before I ask her about it. Thank you!

The only reason I haven't done it is because I live on a farm, so all my shoes are filthy lol. Plus I think the superstition is new shoes...
Eta: I googled it, if a man puts his shoes on the table he can expect a quarrel before the end of the night, if a woman does she can expect a pregnancy in the family. my mum always said 5 women, turns out that was wrong.

Less than 14 days definitely isn't too short, especially since most people are able to turn a test positive even before that point. That's weird that a doctor would say that, though someone did say recently her doctor told her she should be having sex after O instead of before so I guess doctors don't know everything...
