Thanks! I thought it up the other night watching, well duh, GOT. lol So many of our friends didn't get the joke. 

Also, I kind of am secretly hoping it's a boy, so I can continue the GOT theme with another announcement that says "Prince That Was Promised" LOL. I guess I could do "Prince(ss)

I think we're going to do a picture of FI, me, and our 3 kitties with a wrapped Christmas present that says don't open until December 2016 and then another shot of the ultrasound on the Christmas tree. I was talking to FI about how weird it will be that this past Christmas we were on our own in our first apartment and this upcoming Christmas we will have a baby, and the idea of a Christmas themed pregnancy announcement popped into my head. It'll be a lot of work to set it all up and then take it down since it's not Christmas-time, but I think it'll be so cute!

@ashleaf2018 That would be super cute! I am obsessed with Christmas, so I think that is awesome! It will be worth putting up that tree!

I decided to add a little Christmas into our public announcement, and ordered some crochet booties and a santa hat to put with the pic of the calendar and u/s pic. I was going to regular neutral booties, but found some on Etsy and it clicked.

I'm not exactly sure what we'll do for this one but we already know it's a girl and I found a cute little "No Boys Allowed" hanging plaque thing that I bought for our girls' playroom the other day, so we were thinking of incorporating that into a picture with the girls and seeing how long it takes people to catch on

I saw a cute one that would be perfect for an STM, it was an "eviction notice" on their baby's crib. Would be so cute for anyone who has a baby that is in a crib but will likely move to a toddler bed after the new baby arrives, I thought.

We have a bonfire at our house for July 4th every year and my husband is really into his fireworks show, both sides of our family come.  So for the "finale" we are going to have a banner come out of a box held by balloons that says we're having a baby, lit by fireworks and fountains around it.  It is the first grandchild on both sides and no one will be suspicious because it is part of our tradition   It's a long time to wait but it is the best idea we could come up with and are willing to wait to make it special.  Then I will post the video for everyone that doesn't come.

No photo yet, but when we were at DH's parents' house in February, we went through a lot of his old stuff. I found an old baseball tee (from his little league days) that says our last name and the number 3 on the back.  It actually fits me so I'm going to wear that in a family photo...with my back facing the camera somehow of course!

I made our announcement today! I sent it to a few family members that weren't able to see us in person today and will post this on FB later this week probably. As promised I borrowed @sonomama14's wording.
P.S. Don't do anything creepy now that I've shown our faces. Hehe jk. But really.

We will be putting ours on Facebook at week 13. We decided to let it be word of mouth for a while first.  Our relationship is extremely faith based as our family and friends know, so we decided to go with faith/simple instead of funny. (Funny gender announcement hopefully)
