@tulips29 I know how you feel, my betas are low but have more than doubled and I'm still waiting til Tuesday for another beta and ultrasound. But I feel the support with all these amazing ladies is where I want and need to be! I won't make an intro on the January Board as I'm too scared!
@Drove2u@laur1212 I know, I feel the same. Even clicking on "pregnant after IF" seems so silly and weird to me. I won't feel it's real until my next 2 appointments where they hopefully see the sac, beta is where it needs to be and then hopefully hear the heartbeat. I'm so scared of those appointments though that I don't think I even belong here until then. It's a very confused feeling.

@Tulips29 I feel the same way. I'm scared now hat there is two babies I need to worry about. The heartbeat will hopefully be next week or the week after. I think I will be done being scared when their delivered lol.
@ultratomato someone said to me "be prepared to worry for the rest of your life now" and I get it. I first said I'll be ok once I see the heartbeat. And I did now...twice. Now I'm scared to make it through the first trimester. Then I will be scared for the five month anatomy scan. Then I will be scared hoping my baby will be ok once delivered. Then I will be scared while my baby is sleeping safe and sound in his crib etc.
@ultratomato I know what you mean. My mom always says that you only worry more once you deliver the kids. It's never ending lol.

**lurking ** I know it feels weird being over here . I felt weird being over here earlier on but it's so great to connect with other people at the same stage . I think we all feel like we don't belong in a pregnant group because it just feels too good to be true almost . But y'all are pregnant ! The worrying has gotten a little easier for me after hitting 12 weeks but even after 12 weeks I almost passed out at my OB appointment I was so nervous ! As someone else said the worrying never stops . I am hoping and praying you all have healthy and happy pregnancies !! Try to enjoy this time as much as possible . I know it's stressful !

I agree with you all on being scared to be here. I had some blood the past few days that scared the crap out of me. It was just a tiny bit, but enough to make me stay away from here for a few days. Now I am anxiously awaiting our U/S Tuesday. But as PP said, we are all here for the support and are at the same point pretty much - so I just going to avoid the other conversations over here and just stick to ours. Has anyone else experienced any blood recently?

1) Where are you from (whatever you're comfortable sharing) I'm originally from South Jersey but DH was living in Delaware so lived there until 2 years ago when we moved 10 min down the street in PA....the town I live in no one knows LOL my family in NJ think I moved to the witness protection program since we are surrounded by beautiful open spaces and farms! I'm in southern Chester Co. Near kennett square (the mushroom capital of the world)
2) What's your career/profession? I'm a nuclear medicine technologist specializing in PET/CT (it's radiology)
3) How did you & DH (or partner) meet? We met at a wedding in Oct 2006. He asked if he could buy me a drink....at an open bar hahahaha! Been together ever since! Married 12/2009 have one fur baby Dexter and a 5 yr old DS Lucas.
1. Where are you from? South jersey close to lbi. 2. What's your career? I work for child protective services I'm an investigator and some people just call us baby snatchers. 3. How did you meet DH? We met on match in 2009. Our first date was a flyers game!
I think I finally found where I belong! I just got my bfp on Friday. I'm still in disbelief, but suddenly I feel lost on these boards...like I don't know where I belong.
-What road did you take to get your BFP (ie IUI, IFV, etc)?
Where to begin? In the end, I got a bfp through IVF on 5/20. I was told this would be the only thing that would work for me. I was very fortunate that my insurance covered it, but only after I met the requirements. I found out that my egg supply/quality was borderline when we had only been TTC for a month or two. I went to my gyn for a problem I was having with bleeding and the dr tested me. Knowing that i wanted to get pregnant, I was referred to the fertility specialist right away. My insurance company made me wait a year to do an egg retrieval, and I had just turned 41. In the meantime I went through the other tests, which determined I was going to need a myomectomy. I always knew this would be a possibility. While waiting fur my surgery date, I did 2 iuis, had the surgery last May, did iui #3 in August to meet the insurance requirement. We knew there was only a 1% chance of the iui working. Ivf was approved in September. Because of my age (now 42), the dr wanted to do back to back retrievals. We decided to do a 3rd since we hope to try for a 2nd child after this. This took from September until February. In Feb I found out I needed a hysteroscopy to remove polyps before doing the transfer. I was going to transfer in April but I didn't respond to the medication. My dr stimulated my ovaries since my lining responded we'll during the retrievals. I transferred on may 12th and here I am!
It's been a bumpy journey, but I feel lucky in many ways.
-When is your due date? I don't officially know, but a couple websites said 1/28/17. Since I need a c-section (because of the myomectomy ), I imagine it will be earlier.
-Anything else you want to share? I started feeling crampy about 4 days after the transfer. I still feel that way. I've been feeling really bloated and have trouble buttoning my pants. I'm not ready for maternity clothes yet, but I'm going to have to go shopping for clothes that will get me through the next month or two.
My first ultrasound is in 1 week!
I look forward to learning about pregnancy as I go and following everyone's journeys.

Welcome and congrats @LynnNJ what part of NJ are you from? I'm assuming the "NJ" in your name means that LOL I'm from South NJ
@Joyzie77 it's going to sound weird but lemon heads (the candy) helped when I was pregnant with DS....I too had just nausea and I would suck on them and it really did help! I eventually got a RX for zofran but I never needed to fill it since I started feeling better!
Ok ladies, you convinced me to stay. I agree that these boards are very helpful, I haven't felt this connected to anyone in my personal life, aside from my husband, and he even encourages me to post on here so I can get the support I need.
I have my beta #3 + u/s to see the sac appointment tomorrow. I'm so scared! I keep thinking, what if they don't see anything. What if my beta numbers aren't what they should be. Then I tell myself everything will be fine. It's so overwhelming.
DH had a nice weekend away and didn't think much about this. Now that I'm back at work, I'm so anxious for tomorrow. Looks like a few other appointments are happening tomorrow as well, so exciting!
