Had my ultrasound today and not the best news. They didn’t
see a sac. Essentially she said it could be 3 things: 1) too early to see it (but
she is concerned b/c my hcg didn’t rise as much as it should have 2) it was
already lost (I would have expected more bleeding that what I had, but
I really have no clue) 3) it’s ectopic (although they didn’t see anything in
the tubes – but also said it might be too early for that). They are doing
another beta and a bunch of other bloodwork. They are rushing it, so hoping to
hear some results early this afternoon. She essentially said they will be
monitoring me very closely over the next few days. I don’t even know how to
comprehend what happened today.

Appointment went well today and I'm measuring at 5 weeks 3 days RE said that my discharge was normal yesterday go back for my second ultrasound on Tuesday. Oh and did I mention that we are having TWINS!!!!!!

3rd beta (20dp5dt) came in at 11,171! They had me on the edge of my seat all day, I ended up calling them since it was more than an hour and a half after they usually call.

got my bloodwork back and spoke with RE.... my # today was 2200.... So it still didn't double - that combined with the ultrasound today makes her believe it's ectopic. But because I'm not yet 6 weeks, she can't be positive. She indicated that by 6 weeks they should be able to see a sac. So going back on Friday for another u/s and bloodwork. She's hoping they can see it by then. She said if not, it is most likely ectopic and suggest I take the methotrexate on Friday. I feel like this is still early and talked to her about waiting to monday. It's one thing if they definitely see it in the tube, but another if they don't see it at all. But I do know it can be dangerous for me. I'm just hoping that we see it someplace on Friday. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers up to this point.

Hi Ladies – I ended up in the ER yesterday with some bad back
pain. They were able to definitively confirm ectopic (it was in my right tube).
We are devastated, but trying to focus
on next steps. We have 2 more frozen embryos, so hopefully will have better

Transfer Meds include: Lupron Depot (4/1), Minivelle Patch (every 3rd day), Estradiol (3x daily), Amoxicillin, Progesterone in Oil, Methylprednisonlone. Lovenox and baby asprin added after transfer.
3/22/16 - Sono Saline ultrasound cyst to be aspirated on 4/1/16 if not cleared up by 3/29 US - It cleared on its own
Retrieval 3/4/16 - 26 eggs retrieved, 23 mature, 20 fertilized, 14 embryos currently frozen

HSG scheduled for 1-26-16 - All clear "beautiful uterus" (though inverted)
Switched clinics and now prepping for IVF in February / March

Hi Ladies – I ended up in the ER yesterday with some bad back pain. They were able to definitively confirm ectopic (it was in my right tube). We are devastated, but trying to focus on next steps. We have 2 more frozen embryos, so hopefully will have better luck next time. Again, thanks for all your support! Best to all of you!
