Belly button "popped" already

I am 14 weeks today, and I just noticed that my belly button has turned into an outie!  This seems crazy early for this to be happening (doesn't it take until 20 weeks for the uterus to reach the belly button?)!  I'm not even wearing maternity pants yet!  I immediately assumed that something must be wrong, although I'm not entirely sure what problem an outie belly button could be indicating.  Did anyone else's belly button pop this early?  Or does anyone have some great info for me on why this happened?  Even the message board search option is failing me.

    No clue as to why, but mine started popping out a few weeks ago. Am 21 weeks now, and it's pretty much fully out. Gross to me lol. So it's not abnormal! No idea as to WHY it happens, though!

    My co workers popped out at 18/20 weeks. Its not a bad thing as all and could just be that your a smaller body build and your belly button is not as deep therefore it popped sooner rather than later. Try calling your doctor/ob/midwife and check with them if your truly concerned to ease your mind.

    I'm glad some other people had theirs pop early.  It's gross to me, too!

    20 weeks and mine has begun popping. I've always had a weird belly button though

    Mine has been popping out since about 13/14 weeks. I thought it was early too, but it doesn't worry me because it's expected.

    I'm 21 weeks (FTM) and my belly button hasn't popped yet, but for what I've learned everything is possible, everything is "normal", as long as you don't have like bleedings or sharp pains.

    If it's your first you might be freaking out and I get you.

    Call your doc and ask him, you will be relief. Oh and don't forget to post back that way we can know what happened :)
